This is the third purchase from PCSpecialist and can recommend highly. This purchase was a extreme gaming PC and choosing the parts and ordering was simple with help from the AI to make sure that all the component's are compatible with each other. The emails were pretty spot on with expectations on the time to build and in fact got it before the time stated which was pleasing. When I received the PC it was packed really solidly and opening up the box found that it could've survived a drop from height with the packaging! I installed 2 SSDs, and looking at the brackets I really appreciated the build standard and the cable management was excellent. All over great service once again

Competitive prices, easy to use website and regular updates of target build date and around the delivery itself. Everything delivered on time and as ordered. Mine is a fairly routine productivity machine but I am impressed with the performance thus far - in a different league to the laptop it replaces. The only minor issue is that the power and reset buttons have been mis-wired, which held up the initial boot process for a few minutes, but nowhere near worth returning the machine for. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Having checked out other websites who have a similar business price wise they are far cheaper. The website itself compared to other companies is simple to use, clear, easy to navigate and very informative on the components. The sales team is brilliant very patient helped and advised me on my custom made pc. There is one particular sales team member Fatima was brilliant as she explained to me what M2 SSD is as l had no idea how it was and how it works. So l decided add one of those in my PC. The packaging of the PC when delivered was really good with all necessary information needed. All in all l had a good experience. Second time I've used PC Specialist and again I'm impressed by the service. The site is easy to navigate and specifications of a custom build are easy to understand. Incompatibilities of chassis, hardware, components etc are flagged up and advice given on best configuration before adding to basket. The order process was very clear and emails received regularly when the order moved to a new stage in the process. The delivery was on time and packaging of a high quality. After 10 days the laptop is performing to a high standard and I'm very happy with the quality. Compared to a similar pre-built configuration from one of the major vendors this has worked out far cheaper, seemingly because I'm not paying for the brand name that goes with other rigs.

I had the pleasure of undertaking an incredibly stress-free transaction with PC Specialist whilst looking to replace my somewhat aging PC recently. The site was easy to use, the configurator/builder was straightforward and seemingly up to date with pricing and availability of components. I opted for the 3 day express build and dispatch, and sure enough, 3 working days after I had placed the order, my new PC was delivered, unboxed and fired up immediately. The workmanship is excellent with cabling carefully routed and secured. There are plenty of documents and manuals supplied, so if you have half an idea of what you're doing and need to tinker, you're good to go. The PC has been in place for about 10 days now, and has been on most of that time, and thus far (touch wood) hasn't missed a beat. I'm very impressed, and the custom route like this is really the way to go not to pay a ludicrous sum for a non-available GPU at the moment. It also got me up to DDR5 standard in one simple step. Pricing was competitive based on what others were offering along with the support and expertise available. I've previously built all of my own PCs, but with how hassle free this was, I'll most likely be building my next one with these folks too. Very highly recommended.

Quality of the product 4/5 Quality of the support 2/5 I had issues with my laptop since very beginning. First problem was that they mounted M.2 SSD in the wrong slot, which was causing drive to only get PCIe 3.0 speed instead of PCIe 4.0. Then after installing OS, I found out that there were missing drivers. I sent email to support and their initial answer was that it's normal! Then after I asked to send me the drivers, it turned out that it was Chipset driver and HID event filter driver that were missing. Once all drivers were updated, I started having issue, that every other reboot, fans were ramping up to 100% on desktop and laptop was crashing. Support just asked to make sure that all drivers are updated and then asked to send laptop back. When they were sending laptop back, they advised that they installed new OS (I had installed Win 10 Pro, they installed Win 11 Pro, which I then had to re-install again due to combability issues with some software I use) and that they updated BIOS (why it was not done before sending laptop to customer?!). While I was sending back laptop I also reported other issue with some sort of static noise coming from heatsink. The answer I got was that it's normal and all their laptops make same noise! I am not sure how parts that are not moving can make noise, but I guess it's fine as long as they cover any damage with their warranty. Overall laptop is pretty good, quality of the product is solid, but they need to work on their customer service.

Ordered a top spec Desktop pc and the ordering was easy, the check upon completion of your build is good making you confident the different parts will function together. COVID affected the timescale which was a pity, and the order was booked for build 20 days after order placed. I had a great experience ordering from PC Specialist. I ordered a pre-built gaming PC from them last month and it took only 11 days to be built, checked, tested and sent out to me. I found the customer service to be excellent, I had a couple of queries that I emailed them about during the build and I always received prompt replies, and the PC was delivered in a secure and safe way with lots of packaging to protect the finished product. As someone not hugely experienced in IT, I really appreciated the guide that accompanied the PC too. I should also mention that I am paying by finance and that process has also been easy to follow and implement. Definitely recommend.

I am very pleased with my new PCS Windows 11 desktop computer. It replaces a 10 year old Windows desktop computer from PCS which has been totally reliable, from its Win7 origins through to its current Win10 status. The order process is very simple & convenient allowing you to spec the PC to your own needs at a very cometitive price. I found the regular updates of the build process reassuring until delivery on schedule. The telephone help, when initial startup didn't work due my faulty screen connection, resolved the issue quickly. Since then I've been very happy with the computer.

Whilst I am not hugely knowledgeable about PCs, I did a fair bit of research into this, compared many companies, and also the components individually for a self-build, and PC Specialist came out as very competitive. I was aware of the 20 day lead time when ordering, and whilst it sat there in “pre-production” on their online updater, towards the end it quickly moved through production and testing phases, and it was delivered to me in the agreed timeframe, so no arguments from me there (obviously if you need it very quickly at the moment you’ll need to look elsewhere). Like others have said, it came with a bag of leftover parts, which I assume is just bits they didn’t use when building from components. I am fine with this. The machine appears to me to be as specified, and working very well at the moment. I had to contact their customer services twice, once on email to check if the latest BIOS was installed, and on the phone to check which hard drive was the SSD and which was the faster one for when I installed Windows (note: Windows comes installed whether you pay for it or not, which I didn’t, just not registered, so I didn’t need to do that). Both times got quick responses. Anyway, very happy so far, time will tell on reliability etc. but would recommend.

I ordered my PC from them and received it just over a week later, very good build quality, no problems with it at all. very good customer service; I was having some doubts about the cooling in my PC, so I sent their customer service a message, and they said that the computer was good for cooling and was perfectly safe, but they still sent me a fan as a gesture of good will, and included a picture of where to plug the fan in when it arrived, all for free. 5/5 stars, would definitely recommend buying a PC from them if you are looking to get a good custom build.

Amazing! At first i was a bit sceptical, but my friend had bought from them so i gave them a go. First of all, the staff on the online chat are really polite and helpful and they send you an email every five days on your order status, which is helpful for us people who get excited when buying something online. It went from pre production to being sent to me in 3 days, which is amazing because of the current pandemic. My pc came on time, greatly packaged and it also came with a 3 year warranty. I had ordered it before Christmas it did take a month to come but with all the stuff going on and the time i ordered it that wasnt too bad as i got the updates to see whats going on and regular emails to let me know how far the process was. when it came everything was smooth and easy to set up and the internal cables were cleaned up nicely there was even some extra ports that allowed me to put me old HDD in without a problem. I got the £550 set up and didnt really change anything on it but its capable of handling a lot and can even run unreal engine 4 on high-max graphics with no problem its a prefect gaming pc

2 weeks of use and so far a positive experience - the desktop/workstation was easy to configure on the website and I did not need to speak to an adviser. Receiving regular updates every five days on the build stage was helpful and made the 4 weeks delivery wait acceptable. Packaging was surprisingly minimalistic and perhaps more thanks to DPD it arrived in perfect conditions. No issues so far with the desktop. The build quality is good. Cabling is tidy and well rationalised. GPU is from reputable brand/maker. Configuration and performance is good. Insofar I am very satisfied with the desktop. The website made it really easy to sort out a custom pc and also gave recommendations of what would be required and what is excess which would be of great help to non-IT/new people getting into gaming pc. The build i ordered was a custom with rtx3060, ryzen 5, asus tuf 570 plus motherboard, 16 gb corsair rgb 3200 mhz and 750w psu. It was delivered in 2 weeks. This is the second time I have ordered from PC Specialist Ltd. This time around I spent a lot more money on my Gaming Rig and it seems to have been money well spent! The specification does better than expected. PC Specialist built my PC very quickly and was dispatched faster than expected. It turned up via their chosen delivery company in good condition and very well packaged. As I've said, this is the second time I've used this company and I have no issues recommending them, or even using them for a third time! Walla Walla Edit: I have infact used them a third time, I bought a laptop. After a year the laptop screen broke (my fault entirely) they happily took it back and replaced it (the parts were cheaper than expected, wasn't charged labour). Bought a new laptop for work, it needed a lot of power to create print graphics and video. The clue is in the name "Specialists" and they really are. Product configuring on the website is superb. If you're looking to buy a new, custom specification PC, look no further. The website is brilliantly designed, and makes building your PC really easy. Even if you're not an expert like me! Just got a new Windows 10 PC from here and have been very pleased with the service offered. It was not the fastest perhaps, but there were constant e mail updates, so I always new what the progress was. The PC has been running very will since I got it and is much quieter than I expected, so all is good. Or almost all, My one minor quibble is that I would say more packaging would have been better, to protect the PC. However, all arived well and working so no loss of stars from me! Ordering a PC was done through their site,. there are a ton of options which led me to miss a few on initial order but this was easily fixed when I took another look at it. I wasn't keen on the build time, it took 3 weeks between order and completion which is partly due to the coronavirus situation I suppose, but I'm very happy with the end result. Build quality of the PC is excellent and my only gripes are extremely minor - they've been a little too keen with the cable routing and as such some are tighter than I'm comfortable with. 10 days since my first major order from PC Specialist, and thus far I've been very pleased with the result. The online site itself feels user friendly and offers an array of options for PC customisation, though some knowledge is certainly ideal beforehand. Delivery was, in my case, quite swift which was certainly a preferable factor. The Laptop I purchased from this site effectively replaced my previous Alienware model - and so far I've been very pleased with the statistics and power in both technical specifications and actual performance whilst performing varied tasks. Numerous drivers were in-need of updating to their newest versions, though I anticipated as much, and the only real criticism I might have would be from a software point-of-view, as the infamous Nvidia Control Panel wasn't installed and the Microsoft store's product seems to have some rather ill-repute. All the same thus far the machine is working excellently and I look forward to seeing how it performs in later future, certainly a worthwhile purchase that rivals the products of larger brand-logo'd products.

I ordered a desktop from PCS and I can say that I was satisfied with their service. The website was very practical and newbie-friendly, I was able to customize my PC from scratch and was warned whenever the pieces didn't fit well. I've also noticed that they have a forum where people are willing to help you with your specs in case you're not sure about what to get. The order was dispatched in 5 working days, sooner than expected and I could see in what stage (pre-production, production, testing etc) is the desktop. I really appreciate this little feature, gives you a sense of security and can help you estimate how long before your products will be dispatched. The delivery time was 3-4 working days, from UK to Romania, also sooner than expected and I could track where the order was last registered. The one minor inconvenience that I had is that I expected the power cable for the monitor to be European version, instead of UK as long as I select EU version for the desktop, but it wasn't. This might have been just a misunderstanding on my part, but I also couldn't see an option to buy an additional EU cable for the monitor, so they might be able to make a small change to clarify this issue and/or to allow clients to buy EU power cables for their monitors too. So far the desktop works as expected, I'm very happy with it. Overall it was a great experience, I would recommend PCS to friends and I will probably buy from them in the future.

Their customization process gave me the ability to spec my machine exactly the way I wanted it, without having to pay for things I didn't necessarily need or want. Web configuration interface easy to use. The laptop was build and shipped in 10 days (very fast) and is of good quality. The packaging was perfect to protect the laptop during the shipping. Everything was perfect and I would reccomend this online shop. The only marginal (but very marginal) negative note it could be in the quality assurance: one screw was missing and some keyboard keys are a bit oblique. It is hard to find laptop of the same quality and with the same hardware at a cheaper price

A decent company if you're like me and uncomfortable building an expensive PC yourself, the premium for them to do it for you isn't outrageous. You can send in your own case if you don't like the ones they stock, which is great, but the range of components they offer isn't that good in some areas and I'd recommend doing your research first if you're buying any of the entry level stuff they offer like adata drives and the cheaper corsair power supplies. I've had my build for around 7 months now and if I could go back, I would probably build my pc myself or with the help of a pc savvy friend. At the time I felt more comfortable buying through PC Specialist because of the extra support they offer as I'm not a very technical person, but honestly their support is pretty rubbish. Any time there's an issue they'll pretty much just google it for you or tell you to figure it out yourself, last time I called them I was on hold for two hours only for them to do this, and most of your components will have a longer manufacturers warranty than the short warranty PC Specialist offer. You'll also be able to have your build exactly how you want it and not have to limit yourself to the components PC Specialist stock.

Bought 3 laptops from them and am looking at getting a new PC from them. A great site that keeps you well informed about your order status. Include a 3 year warranty that I haven't had to use yet. Products are massively customizable and the site isn't trying to screw you. If you pick too powerful a power supply then it will advise you to choose a cheaper one. I started with 1 star because for an almost £6000 pc I have to wait more than 6 hours in a que on the phone and because critical emails related to my order are left unanswered. I wouldn't recommend this company for buying a custom made pc. If they have to change a component, they will send an email asking if they can change it and despite of a very fast answer from you with a decision,your response sent by email will just sit there until you call... But hold on, you will have to wait in line for more 2h most of the time and if you are lucky in that day, you may talk to someone and finally, that email that was sent 2 days ago will be taken into consideration. 1 day later after writing this review, I managed to reach them (previous day, I wasn't successful not even after 6h on the line). They have explained what the issue was and what was done to solve it and yes, it looks like they moved fast in solving the issue. If they would use their own system to write about the issue, I could be able to see in that system and of course I could understand and most importantly,I wouldn't try to call them (after all, the purpose of such systems is to keep away people from keep calling to receive updates). After the call, they moved really quick and it looks like it will be delivered as promised, before Christmas. And for this now I updated it to be at 3 stars. I will update this review with the quality of the product once I receive and test it.

Very pleased with the PC and overall the service wasn't too bad. Easy to spec it out exactly as you like and make changes to it after payment has been made. it did however take a very long time for them to build the PC (it was in pre-production for nearly 20 working days!!) and when I tried to call to ask why it was taking so long I couldn't get through. They were much faster at responding to emails and after acknowledging the delay they quickly finished up the building and testing.

Beyond exceptional, truly. I ordered a custom built desktop (with 2 monitors) ordered for dispatch within 5 working days, and it actually arrived on my doorstep in 4 days. The desktop itself is superbly built with beautiful component placement and cable management for the best aesthetic and operational purposes. It runs like a dream and looks like a work of art. The customer service support I received on every single one of the several occasions I contacted them via email and over the phone was possibly the best I have ever received from a company I've never spoken to before. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. I was given advise (without me even having to prompt first) on an aspect of my build that would've cost me unnecessary extra money on two occasions and was kept up-to-date every step of the way. The only negative from this whole experience was an unfortunate mix-up with my ordered RAM. In their defense it was a mistake that is easily made and hasn't effected my build in the slightest (the incorrect RAM has the same specifications, just no RGB lighting), in terms of performance. This mistake was immediately owned up to in an apologetic and sincere manner when I pointed it out and is in the process of being rectified with no extra cost or effort to myself. As far as I can tell this is a rare issue that has been caused by exceptional circumstances. I'd like to thank every member of the customer service team (I must've spoken to all of them at this point), and the guys involved in my build; J.Clegg, H.Walker and C.Vaughan as you guys truly are masters at your respective professions and roles. My overall experience with pcspecialist was good. It was a easy process ordering my laptop as I ordered one of that had been reviewed by Computer Active and if you kept the laptop as configured the offer price would stay the same and you would be hard pressed to find the same specs at the price. It was delivered by DPD on time which was excellent as they emailed me on the day with a hour time slot . I am pleased with the laptop even though I had problems with the memory card reader, but after a couple of emails to pc specialist who advised me to reinstall the driver it now works fine.

After buying a system from SCAN in the past (simply because it is local). That computer had a lot of blue screens and they could'nt figure them out so decided to play an out of manufacturers fault card. Despite this happening from day one. (But I digress) I decided to give someone else a chance on this machine. Now I am writing this review on day one appearances. As most of my games are installing. Pre-receipt. The sales team were, fantastic. I don't like ordering expensive things online but you can simply build it to the stage it gives you a quote number handle it on the phone. Also final is not final up until someone actually sits down and unboxes the parts for your PC you can go into your order and swap bits out. (If the section your PC is made is different i.e you ordered an AMD but change your mind to an Intel they do have to go through the refund process). The team will contact you if there is anything they consider weird about your setup. For example I wanted an Optane booting a HDD which given I also had a M.2 SSD is a weird match as the M.2 is better for booting. However I wanted to sacrifice boot times for the sake of having my 6TB HDD making the games I currently play automatically get a load time boost. Not really review material though. Anyway point is they went the extra mile with the service rather than going kerching at a part that may not have been any use. On Receipt: Nicely packed. Internal parts protected by polysterine which reading the label on it is put in the PC flat and exapands to mould for the best protection possible. All the componant manuals present, serial numbers for anything that needs installing after Windows as it is only installed to the welcome screen for the purpose of user account creation, etc. Played Planetside 2 my favourite game for a while and it seems totally fine no glitches of hiccups. All-in-all a fantastic build and great service to match.

Creating my specification was easy and enjoyable. I liked being able to balance the spec and the cost. Once ordered I followed the build process on the website and also received an email at each stage. The laptop itself looks smart, well made and appears sturdy whilst being thin and lightweight. I plugged it in, pressed the on button and the Windows 11 process for a new device started and went well. I am very pleased with all aspects of the Laptop. As a novice when it comes to custom PC builds, we asked a friend for help. He was able to talk us step by step through the easy online form showing us what was available and how this was compatible. The PC Specialist website gave very clear information to assist the build to ensure everything we needed was catered for. Once the order was placed we received an immediate notification and there were also regular updates of the stage of the build, images of how the tower looked and clear delivery instructions. Delivery was through DPD which are my preferred courier as they take care and will always ensure the delivery gets to where it should. We also received set up emails to ensure that when we unboxed the PC we knew what went where. Which was very helpful. The PC runs like a dream, is far better spec than an off the shelf product for similar money and I'm reassured by the aftercare available. But we haven't needed it yet. I'm very happy with my modern new PC, everything works well and inside the cabinet, all is neat and tidy. The generic welcome book described opening the case to remove transit packaging but there was none. It took a while to locate the screws and catch to open the case, but it was unnecessary for my small cabinet. That's my only criticism but I gave feedback and in future a label may be on cabinets where required. I've no hesitation in recommending PC Specialist.

I used the Web Site to configure a number of laptop systems to support video editing that was easy to use, yet I still needed some help to confirm a number of point so I contacted Support and received the info I needed very quickly. Had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. I'd been tempted with a new PC as I last built one in 2016, and PC specialist worked out cheaper than building my own... And I get a warranty! Bargain! I used the public forums after I'd specced up a PC for gaming and it turns out I was well out of the know in terms of Intel Vs AMD... So after getting my PC reconfigured and double checked by helpful people in the forum (these aren't PC Specialist staff, but helpful forum members) I placed my order! I made a couple of changes after placing my initial order, and this was painless with no additional fees as my PC hadn't moved into the production phase yet. I was kept up to date whenever my order progressed and even had a 360° image of my PC sent to me when it had been built as a 'sneak peek'! My PC was built around Easter, and even though that was the case I'm extremely happy with the turnaround time on my order! Shipping was next day with DPD and I was notified on 3rd April - I am beyond happy with the PC having had it since 4th April! Problems were: - The Laptop came only in Chinese though made in UK (but I fixed that) - the onboard keyboard is just ridiculously cheap (it literally looks like the cheapest fake, letters have no sharp corners, Windows button basically a white square) Support said, that they would check if I could swap them somehow but never got back to me. - the onboard speakers are incredibly dull and weak. My iPhone 8 (!) has far better sounding speakers Besides that I love my new Laptop. But for a bit over 2200€ I would have expected better quality components (by faaaaar better).

I've had no issues with this new order and am happy with the resolution I was offered. However, communication wasn't great during my first RMA and it took longer than expected due to the information I was given after phoning their customer service. Overall I am happy with this company and I would use them again. They're competitively priced, and I was happy with the outcome after the issues I had. But to give some constructive feedback. Communication could be better when returing a faulty computer. Every time I phoned up for an update, I kept getting told I should hear something the next day. Which never happened. In the end, I gave up and just accepted it was going to take longer than what I was told. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would still recommend them.

Highly recommended. Having built PCs in the past, I thought I'd let the pros build it for me this time to see what I was missing out on. For an extra £69 lol I was extremely pleased. Built in a morning, tested in a day and shipped in another day. The cabling is super neat, no scratches or tool marks anywhere, packed like a super precious thing, with multiple updates and 360⁰ PHOTOS OF THE BUILD And the PC: it just works I won't bore you with specs. The component list is VERY extensive and well priced. Strix and TUF options made me happy. Lighting and cooling installed perfectly in a case with limited cable tidy options impressed me. Also, if you're new to PC builds, the website will tell you if you've made a mistake, like having too much power, small case etc. I generally build a new PC every 5 years that is a gaming monster. Any incompatibilities are picked up during the configuration and suggested how to fix. When upgrading these are also picked up and a record kept for future. Ordering was really easy using the website's configuration page which automatically tells you if any of the components you've selected aren't compatible.
