Phil has been the greatest help to me - saving all my data and restoring my laptop after a password malfunction. I dropped off my laptop at 6pm on Saturday, and he worked through the night for me. It was ready by Sunday early afternoon, and it’s running better than it ever has. He made sure I knew what was happening and was happy every step of the way. On a personal note, I also chatted with Phil for a some time, while we waited for files to transfer. He’s the most interesting and chatty man, and I was lucky enough to get a mini tour of his purple palace! It was a truly memorable Saturday. For everything he provided and the time and care he took, the price is well worth it! Big love to you Phil x

Phil listened carefully to what I wanted and suggested what he could do. When I went to collect my laptop, it had new hinges, with adaptations as apparently it's a common fault. He then did a full service, updating my firewall and virus scanning. He took time to explain the modifications and allowed me time to acquaint myself. Good job and I will return for regular servicing.

If we could leave more than 5 stars we would, as we’re very happy with the service carried out by Phil. I’m disabled and a single mum. My son who’s my carer, lives for his Gaming PC, so when it suddenly stopped working, I was in a dilemma and needed someone to help! I went online and Phil’s website spoke to me, he’s local & I’m a purple fan, so I rang & after speaking to this wonderful man, I knew I had found the right person for the job. From start to finish, Phil went out of his way to help resolve the problem, and even fixed things that we didn’t know about. I loved the free Purple Goody bag! My son is very happy with his PC, it’s working better than it ever, so I can’t thank Phil enough for all his kindness and help, shown to us! I’ll definitely be recommending him to everyone I know, he’s also very reasonably priced for the time, effort & those extra few miles, checking the whole machine is running better than before, updating etc, rather than just fixing the initial problem.

Like all computer gurus Big Bill's workshop might seem a little chaotic. However he is a brilliant technician. He analysed my laptop and diagnosed the fault in 24 hours. As it was a motherboard fault he was unable to repair it but arranged and supervised (he wanted to make sure the work was carried out to his standards) a Dell engineer. He then analysed the machine and carried out a number of modifications that resulted in a faster and flawless laptop being returned to me. If you have a problem and need help this should be your first stop.

Phil is an incredibly nice and wise individual; he helped me with my gaming PC after I was locked out from my profile and couldn't get past the login screen! As Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 I needed to upgrade my desktop to Windows 10. It proved to be quite a time consuming process which Phil undertook without complaint over 2/3 long days, and did his utmost to ensure that I, as a definite non-techie, could follow what he was doing and replicated as much as possible of what I was used to seeing on the monitor to make my life easier. He did a great job and I would recommend his services unreservedly.

Som years ago I took my Samsung laptop to PC World to have Windows 10 installed. After 2 weeks & a few phone calls I was told it was done. When I picked up my laptop I was handed my wireless card & told Windows 10 could not be installed with the wireless card. My laptop has been using an ethernet connection since. I finally decided to have it looked at and after seeing a recommendation for Phil I called him, no problem he said and I left it with him on a Thursday afternoon. He phoned me Friday am to say pick it up after 4 that day. When I saw Phil not only did I have wireless working he had cleared out all the rubbish on my hard drive and updated Windows10 to the latest version. All in all totally happy with the work, quick turnaround and price for job (not much more than PC World charged me for breaking it). I would certainly use Phil again & be more than happy to recommend him to anyone. Thanks Phil.

What can I say, Phil is an absolute legend. I took my son's gaming PC to him to as the HDMI port wasn't being recognised. Phil had it for a couple of days and not only fixed the HDMI problem but also added a couple of extra tweaks to speed up the machine. I now have one very very happy son. In 2014 a scam phone call resulted in my giving control of my computer to the scammer, which was then locked up. They wanted payment - I refused to give my bank details. My computer remained locked. A friend recommended Big Phil Computers. He unlocked my computer and gave it a full “service” – worked much quicker afterwards than it had previously. Since then, I always go to Phil when I have any problem with the computer. He always sorts it out and it always works much more quickly after he has performed his “magic” On the rare occasions that there are any issues afterwards, he is very quick to resolve them. I managed to kill a MacBook Air with a leaky bottle of water in a laptop bag. Phil was able to arrange its repair at a very competitive cost as well as replace its battery which was on its last legs. The laptop is now as good as new and no data was lost in the process.
