Alastair was exceptional today. He immediately offered help when he saw me, took the time to find an appropriate replacement charger for my laptop. He opened several boxes and read the correct electrical outputs, tested it worked on my laptop by plugging it in and then neatly boxed them back up again. He also asked if I needed a Business VAT receipt, which I usually forget to ask. I am very happy with the service.

Good parking for disabled people and it's Free .when go into shop no one comes to see if need any thing and when they do they have no stock of you need, because there was three people asking for different things and they were told the same as us , But they were good to order the product for us which would be for us to pick up . FOR big store I would thought that they would have stock to see how it works.now it July my daughters washing machine pack up. We called in and found the lady was very helpful and friendly to pick the right one . There is a big BUT each time you go there for a product you find they do not have them in stock for a big company you would think they have one but looks like it with a lot of products which tried to buy and it was same . Just a bit frustrating you pay £45 for installation and removal of your old appliance and then get told at the til theres also a £20 delivery to go on top!! Should be alot clearer theres £65.00 to add on !!

Popped in recently for a laptop, I'm fairly tech savvy but not enough to be confident knowing what I'm looking for. I was helped by a young man (I assume must have been management) called Sam who went above and beyond. Unfortunately nothing I wanted in stock but was ordered one without any hassle and walked out happy.

It can be difficult to get assistance. There's no indication next to the shop floor models as to what is in stock, so you might wait for a while for assistance getting an item only to learn they don't have any. Curry's policy seems to be that masks for staff are optional, and most staff here are not wearing them. This is a handy place to pop in and look at what you're thinking of buying, but you're best off ordering from the website.

We needed a laptop for my daughter ready for university, she had already done a lot of research and just needed a few additional questions answered. Very helpful staff, although we did have to wait to be seen, 20 mins ish. Laptop my daughter wanted was actually the one recommend to her without ever prompting, and not up-sold too either. No stock available in store but free delivery arranged for Sunday. So all good.

Meh..nearly every time I shop here there are never enough staff. You have plenty of time to look around several times, even though you've quite often checked online for what you want...and then they don't have it in stock even though their online service says they have it. This time I waited for ages for a member of staff..he was the only person available and was serving someone else. I don't mind them being busy but he didn't even excuse himself to call up for someone to pop up from downstairs..not that there probably would have been anyone available anyway. He was able to spare me 2 minutes to answer a question but then had to attend to his original customer but then I never saw him again and got bored. This isn't a pandemic thing, it's always been this way here. Saving grace this time was the very friendly man at the door who showed me where to go, and the really lovely lady at the cash desk who was so helpful and checked whether what I'd wanted was actually in stock. She was really friendly and helpful. I really dislike going into Curry's because of this..it took me nearly an hour just to buy a cable which I needed urgently otherwise it would have been an Amazon job as I was just kept waiting. When you do get someone, if it is their area of expertise, they do know their stuff but I have unintentionally tripped up staff with my rudimentary knowledge about their products just from doing my research before going in knowing what to expect from there. If you don't mind coming away feeling frustrated, this is the place for you!

Great selection of products. In-store the prices are 3 times the ones online though. Staff was quite helpful. They have a wide range of delivery times. However, my item was delivered late and the driver was quite rude about it. Was told by the sales person, that they were going to set up my item but the delivery guys were not keen to do this.

Went to buy new homephone there was only one assistant upstairs I waited about 20 mins then I spoke to a chap who was from the warehouse staff he phone the manager downstairs and then somebody came up his name was Thomas and he apologized for the wait but they were busy they hadn't got the phone I wanted so he ordered me one it arrived in a couple of days which I was impressed with would have been 5stars but for the wait 👍

The measures they have in place for a contactless collection are amazing! Once I parked in one of their bays, I clicked on the "I'm here" button on my email. I then had to fill in my name, order number, car registration, car make and colour. I then received a text when a member of staff was in their way out with my item, and they asked me to open my boot. I did so, and took a step back so the staff member could place it in there for me. A very simple, yet effective way of dealing with collection in a Covid world. Well done guys ❤

I came into the store last week and was greeted by a young man named Isaac. He was very helpful in helping me find a gift for my elderly mother and recommend an amazon echo for her needs. I had a problem with an online order and the staff in the local store couldn't (wouldn't) help me sort it, so I had to call the online team, from the store carpark, before they would help me instore - you need to sort this out Currys. Otherwise, it's a nice tidy store with helpful staff (when you can find a free one!)

Went to find a new TV and nobody around to help us with the TV we chose so we waited and waited and kept getting funny looks. I didn't want to have to go downstairs and come back up again. Last time we bought a TV for my daughter there was a gent with a disability and he was brilliant.... I didn't see him this time, please tell me you haven't let him go as he was a great asset to your company and this visit proved that! There was also an elderly gent when we bought a big fridge freezer and I didn't see him either same again please don't let the staff leave or get rid of when they're great with people.

Staff out numbered the customers but somehow we still had to ask for help as they didn't appear to want to know. Would have been easier to buy from the website; it felt more like an endless survey rather than buying a washing machine. They still messed up the delivery as they sent round a driver who wasn't qualified to do the wet install I'd paid extra for.

The only shop to actually see what your buying, lots of electrical goods on view but not always in stock, can take an age to get staffs attention, you will be pressured over insurance for goods.

Everything as you would expect and happily, parking is always easy outside the shop usually. A really good selection of electric goods from kettles and toasters to washing machines, freezers and computers. If I had one gripe, it's sometimes hard to get help or assistance, a lack of staff numbers - presumably I go at the busiest times!

Went to buy a dvd player and recorder at the end of a very tiring day. Served by Will. He was so polite and helpful even though I was crochety. Gave us lots of advice and took the trouble to go and see if the item we decided on was in the warehouse as there was none on the shelf. Cannot fault the service and excellent value too.

Few problems when I went to pick up a few items. The people in the TV section up stairs were I think having a meeting (About what they were going to steal from the store) so felt a bit guilty when I asked them to kindly move out the way so I could get a TV, The misses pre ordered my secret Xmas present (headphones) had to wait for them to be built in China before she had them, They gave us the wrong and most expensive Google home mini thing. The strange thing is the person who was looking for the items was looking in all sorts of cupboards which were clearly marked (Xbox, PlayStation, gift cards,) but I think was looking for his mom for help Then he asked if my internet was ok??? And when we came to pay for it all I felt like I was on THE CHASE. Quick fire questions I had to get right or face not having the items and face a firing squad

Click and collect to buy a sound bar. I went to the collection counter to be sent upstairs. I was greeted by a chap upstairs to be sent to the other end of the floor, to be greeted by another chap who directed me to another chap. Finally, the 4th chap went to find my sound bar. Eventually they returned and processed the sale. Click and collect definitely is not a quick process here!

Staff are OK, but don't really go out of their way to help you. Displays aren't bad either, but if you want to play a landscape game, the stands for the phones won't rotate.

Only one member of staff on the TV sales, too many staff downstairs, brought TV downstairs to pay only to be told to take the TV back upstairs to purchase. When we explained that the staff situation upstairs was light they allowed us to purchase downstairs. Won't be long before Curry's follow in the demise of the likes of Comet etc and end up totally "online sales" shame really.

Staff try to help but aren't over knowledgeable about the products. The process for repairs/help is appalling, you get passed to the manufacturer who passed you to Currys, they pass you back to the manufacturer and that could go on for a while. Eventually you get an answer but it's unnecessary, Currys need to deal with it all, they sold it so they're liable for any problems

Confusing price tags on laptops, '48 hr sale event' didn't have a start or end time. Discount offered if I took out credit I didn't need, so forms and contracts that I would pay of in store instantly so jumping through hoops.. Didn't bother.
