The scaffolding, repair, admin and rough casting crews were polite, fast, respectful, professional and did the job well with minimal disruption to our day. They kept in regular contact to let us know when they needed access to our home and to update on their respective repairs. The crews showed us before and afters and took time to explain what was done. The roof is not only repaired to prevent leaks but they took care to ensure it looks great also. I recently hired Taylor roofs to install a sun tunnel which runs from the roof to the upper hallway. The quote process was great, they turned up on time for the appointment listened to what I was after, offered feedback using their experience and the quote was ready that day. They also quoted on an additional roof repair that we required which could be completed along side the sun tunnel work. Leading up to the job we were kept informed of dates and times. On the day Barry and Lewis arrived as expected and after the initial chat of locations they got on with the installation and roof repair. They were tidy and polite, explained what they had done and made sure we were happy with the result. Delighted with the finished results and how easy the whole job was start to finish. Really professional and accurately priced. We only had a clean and small repair for our gutters but we were regularly kept in contact with their friendly receiptionist via phone call and also email. Taylor Roofing have been exceptionally good from start to finish. The roofers, Ally and Reese, Daniel and Thomas were polite and worked solidly all day every day. They took photos throughout of the work being done, new ridgeing, new velux window and new slates to the side of the roof. I have a house built circa 1991 so approx 30 year old roof with mortar ridges, hips and verge. Over the years the mortar deteriorated and would require constant upkeep with repairs every few years. I tried back in 2011 to get it replaced with dry system however the installation done back then by another company was very sub-par quality work (although watertight). I did not realise at the time but over ten years due to those sub-standard works it ended up causing rot and damage to wooden fascia's and soffits which otherwise I would not have had. As you can expect I was a bit worried and hesitant having to get the same repair work done again a decade later as it is not a low cost repair. I spent a lot of time getting quotes from different companies, some were trying to sell a new roof or trying to price a repair so high to make the repair work uneconomical. Some even had logo's for the NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors) on their vans or quote estimates and digging further I found they were not even registered or had been removed due to complaints, one well known local company even advised me NFRC was replaced by another body and no longer existed when I questioned their membership! Now onto Taylor Roof's, I think the biggest part of any major works being carried out is trust and using a reputable contractor. I am very happy with the work done by Barry from Taylor Roofs, it goes to show when someone knows their trade and you can see the difference in the quality of their workmanship. My advise is don't be tempted by the cheapest quote you get, although it may save you a few pounds now you could end up paying twice down the line. That said Taylor Roofs were reasonably priced and I don't mind paying a slight premium if I know the work will be done right in the first place. Every day they cleaned up after themselves and left the place spotless. If anyone is interested in replacing a wet system with dry system get in touch with Taylor Roofs, even if you want to see the work first hand I got done for yourself I will be happy to show you round if you want to get in touch with Taylor Roofs. Roof repairs carried out over a three day period at the end of 2021. Workers were prompt each morning and put in a full days work every day leaving a tidily policed worksite in the evening. Received a full breakdown of the work carried out at the end of each day including pictures of the roof as work progressed. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently by his team. They were very hard working, reliable and got on with the job. I have used the company again to do down pipes and guttering. Again a great price for the job and very quick. There was a problem with the drain and the worker spent a lot of time and effort trying to fix what turned out to be nothing to do with the down pipe. They replaced all of our guttering and dry verge units which had been poorly fitted several years ago by a different contractor. They also fitted ventilation tiles within our existing house roof to improve the ventilation of our loft space. The work was carried out ahead of schedule, in a very timely manner, to a high standard. The workmen arrived on time each morning and we were given a daily update of progress. We first met Jamie a few years ago when we needed some roof ridge tiles replaced and so when we had a bigger problem we called Taylor Roofs first. WE were replacing our soffit boards and gutters and Taylor roofs were recommended to us. I contacted them spoke to Demi in the office a detailed survey was carried out the next day. I then had the full detailed survey and quote emailed to me later on that same day. We were delighted with Jamie who carried it out. We accepted the quote and 2 weeks later work started the scaffolding was erected around a detached 2 storey house in 5 days by ace scaffolding and then Taylor started on Monday 12 th July and Robbie and Ryan carried out the work. I'd previously witnessed the quality of the work Taylor Roofs down in Starlaw as they worked on multiple properties so decided to call for a survey on my property. Jamie was clear with the options I had available and by going through with the quote, the work his team have done (new roof & gutters) is wonderful. Great service. Have used Taylor Roofs a couple of times now. Firstly to replace my guttering which I am really pleased with and recently to check what look like a tile having come lose. We have been delighted with Taylor Roofs every time we have used them. We purchased a period property 3 years ago and had them carry out an initial survey to determine maintenance and repair works that were required. We held a face-to-face meeting to go through the photos and survey information to establish the extent of the required works. We were then able to sequence these works in line with our finances and internal refurbishment works. Over the past 3 years they have carried out the following works for us: - Entirely re-slate a section of roof and replace the rooflight. - Carry out repair to areas requiring immediate attention including replacing missing slates and badly damaged/ missing tiles. - Remedial works to a badly damaged chimney. Including re-pointing the haunch and replacing the surround lead flashings. - Replace a rooflight in our loft which had broken glass in it. - General maintenance works including cleaning gutters and replacing slates and tiles capable of causing leaks. We have always found them responsive, extremely helpful and offer an efficient and well-coordinated process from start to finish. They sent out a surveyor to assess all areas of our roof before issuing quotations in the stated timeframes. They were happy to split the works onto separate quotes to allow us to fully assess each area by cost considering it was mainly maintenance and refurbishment work. They even sourced reclaimed slates for us to try and ensure they match the existing as far as possible. When carrying out the works they ensured they let us know each day when they were starting and finishing and gave us an update at the end of each day with the progress and likely timescales involved. They also provided photographs upon completion of the works and ensured we were satisfied prior to ordering the scaffold to come down. As you will note from above, we are repeat clients.

Jamie Taylor and his team are great. I had problems with my guttering and when we had a bad bout of rain it was coming over like a waterfall and consequently coming in through my windows. Their response was quick and efficient. Brian, the surveyor came round, then within a week, Adam & Reagan (not sure if spelt correctly) were round. They were thorough and I was confident of a job well done. A few hours later and I have just received a courtesy call from Brian asking about the work.
