Highly recommended! Called and arranged my boiler repair for Saturday. Good communication throughout and even called to say he could come early. very good service. He fixed the boiler within 90 minutes, replacing several parts which he had with him! We have waited weeks before for parts to come. he also diagnosed an issue from installation that none of my other boiler repair people have done. He took the time to demonstrate and explain everything he was doing. Very good pricing and very happy with the service

Glen was on time and went completely above the call of duty to get our boiler working again. Very knowledgeable and took the time to explain a what was going on and that we understood the issues. 4 stars as we were initially told we would get a plumber Sat evening, but called back and could only get one out Sunday, understandable but should not have been promised one Sat evening in the first place.

The gas engineer Gylen from A+R has done excellent job. We have gas central heating as normal, but the hot water was cut off in our Combi Worcester boiler. He quickly diagnosed the problem accurately, and repaired it by replacing a component in the next day. He came on time, and phoned us in advance. The cost is fair. We are happy with his service and will use him again. It is highly recommended, because he is very professional.

Not very ‘EMERGENCY BREAKDOWN’ After coming in from work to find our boiler not firing up, we contacted A&R Boiler Repair after finding them online advertising as a 24/7 emergency repair service. We made initial contact at 17:20 on Monday Evening, explaining our situation and asking for someone to be sent our ASAP. We were told we would hear from an Engineer inside an hour. An hour passed and still no call. I called back and was told that they would chase the engineer for us. 4 hours later and another two phone calls, we still hadnt heard from an engineer and was left in limbo as to whether or not one was coming out that night or not as we hadnt been told otherwise. 23:00 came and we decided to go to bed and wait till the morning. The following morning, 18 hours after our initial phone call, the engineer phoned us to say he could pop round. This is where the experience got better and ultimately turns this review from one star into three. The engineer turned up, diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes and we then set about getting it sorted. He didnt have the part on him that he needed so he returned the following day to complete the job. Total time from first call to fix = 44 hours If you have small children or are elderly then i would go elsewhere to get it done quicker. However, if its something you can wait for then give these guys a call because once you get through the people sat in an office, the engineers are very good.
