We had two lofts boarded at the same time over a very busy 3/4 days. I found every member of the team to be professional courteous and the communication on the job from start to finish was very impressive. We had one small issue that was swiftly and sensibly resolved and most crucially both rooms were accessible again exactly when they were needed as per the original timetable. The clean up was impressive - even cleaning a downstairs bathroom that they’d used! Skips picked up swiftly. I absolutely would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them.

I had a new loft hatch and ladder fitted along with full boarding, insulation and a light. This company were responsive and professional from the outset with clear quote. The work was completed when booked without any issue. The workers were prompt and efficient. All done within a day, everything was covered and there was no mess whatsoever. What an excellent company offering great customer service, polite and friendly team and nothing too much trouble. Had loft insulated, 2 new lights, complete boarding, larger loft hatch/stair kit and what an amazing job they have done. We have just had our loft boarded out and a new hatch and ladder fitted. The whole process from first contact regarding a quote to completion was only a fortnight and we are really pleased. Our loft hatch had gotten stuck and we were unable to open it after several attempts. Even though the hatch had been fitted by builders and not by Loftmen, they were kind enough to send someone out when I contacted them for help as I had used them to board the loft previously. Liam managed to get the slider moving again within 5 minutes and gave really good practical advice on how to prevent it getting jammed again and open it with ease. He was incredibly professional and polite at all times. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

Perfect service from beginning to end! Dust sheets all through the house. Had a new loft hatch installed in different room, old loft hatch removed and boarded over ready to plaster, new loft ladders, raised loft floor and installed a strip light all in less than 5 hrs! Amazing, used this company to relocate out loft hatch, provide new ladders, add insulation to our loft, fit a 5ft light and completely floor board the space. I would highly recommend this company. Craig and Luca attended our house yesterday to board the attic and fit a new access hatch and ladder. I have used the Loftmen twice and they are impeccable, service, quality of finish, timing and cost all A1. Had a loft hatch fitted the first time, and it took only 3 hours from start to finish, and Ed hoovered and tidied up after the job, fitting was perfect too and made the hatch accessible but very discreet. Second visit was for insulation, boarding and lof light fit. Team of two younger lads came this time who were also really professional, polite and efficient. The job was done before Lunchtime, brilliant fit and finish and again, the house was kept and left immaculate afterwards. Proper professionals, who do a proper job. Highly recommended.

They are a fabulous professional company to deal with. From organising a quote with Ben through to them working to my really tight deadline and fitting the installation in within a week they were really accommodating. I ordered the ‘package’ of loft ladder, hatch and boarding. Ben turned up at the time he committed to, was exceptionally tidy with full dust sheets on stairs and landing and tidied up at the end of day. Excellent, friendly and professional team. Really helped us out as were happy to meet us on the day we got our keys and install loft boarding for us in the week between getting the keys and moving, posting the keys back through the letter box when they were done. Our loft has struts going in an unusual way but they found a work around and quoted us a competitive price. We have been in the house 8 months or so now and the ladder has had a fair amount of use for storing guest bedding, Christmas stuff, summer items, etc. All still going strong, including the light. I wanted my loft boarding up for some time now . I went online and googled the loft men and read all the reviews before deciding . I opted for the premium package . Edd came out and measured up and gave me a fantastic price with the discount . He went through all the various packages and the options and what is best suited to my needs . He was very polite and very professional and came on time . The work was confirmed for a few days later . Craig came out with another one of his colleagues called Liam . They came at 9 am and the left around just before five and did an absolute fantastic job. They were very polite and friendly and left no mess at all . They even hoovered up all the mess on the stairs which was on the dust sheets. When they had finished it looks like they were not even there we are really really impressed with the work and I highly recommend the loft meant to everybody . Jaz

On the positive - they turned up on time. The loft ladders were fitted quickly, however they were clicked into place for me to use at an angle of about 85 degrees to the horizontal. I was later told by someone that this was too steep. I tried to set them to 75 degrees but this was not possible so I had to drill and add more click holes to place it at 75 degrees to the horizontal.

Many thanks to Ben,Eddie and the team for a wonderful job. Our loft had 30 plus years worth of accumulated junk, and was totally unusable. Once cleared, it has been transformed into a bright, well lit office /study, with loads of enclosed storage space. The guys were all friendly,polite, and tidy. We were kept in the loop at all times,and despite the protracted time taken to complete the job due to' covid 19 lockdown ' and supply difficulties, we are really pleased with the result. The Loft Men were exceptional to deal with from the first phone call to them to request a quote. Ben and his team were very polite and friendly and the assessment visit and quote were provided very quickly after placing a call to them. They weren’t pushy about us going ahead with the work and when we did agree to proceed, Ben kept in touch to keep us updated on when things would be happening and what to expect. We were given a range of options for boarding different regions of our loft so that we could tailor the work to our budget. I liked this as they were as willing to do a relatively small area just as much as they were willing to do the whole loft. Again, no pushing for us to spend more than we were willing/able to do. Craig was our installer and he, again, couldn’t have been better. The quality of his work was outstanding and it was a pleasure having him in our home. He laid dust sheets and tidied everything up afterwards leaving our home as he found it. We will definitely be returning to The Loft Men for some future work which we plan to have carried out. Very highly recommend them.

I would 100% recommend this company to anyone! Competitively priced and definitely worth the money. The lads that completed the work on my job were amazing, my property has recently been refurbished and I was worried there would be lots of mess as my house is over 100years old I imagined lots of black soot on my new carpets, to my amazement there was no mess it’s a really neat job and I’m really happy with it! I had to have a light moved in order for the new hatch to be put in and again this is a really neat job! No mess what so ever and the loft now is a great space for storage and accessible through my new loft hatch and light which were installed! Everything was explained to me, how to use the ladder, what had been done and then I had to inspect the work before they left! Very professional! Great job thanks again!

I wanted to increase my loft insulation: from the 1980s standard 100mm, up to the current 270mm standard, what with winter coming, in a bungalow I have recently bought and upgraded. I called Ben for a quote: which I thought was pretty reasonable, especially coming over from Sutton Coldfield to Stafford. I couldn't find anyone especially local. Craig came over to do the job yesterday. He arrived bang on time and put another 170mm of insulation in my loft: quickly, thoroughly and efficiently. Overall, perfectly happy with the job and service by these guys.

Recently had a loft hatch and ladder installed by the Loft Men and it's superb! The hatch needed a bit of modification (all done neatly and with minimal mess) and the UPVC hatch and sturdy ladder are exactly what I needed - in fact I wish I'd done it 15 years ago when I first moved in as the amount of extra accessible space is brilliant.
