We found Armando very friendly, Kind and caring for his job from start to finish line. We now have a beautiful kitchen fitted in. Required a lot of work from designing & fitting it. Armando and his professional tradesman carried out the full rip out. From, Electrics, Plumbing, Fitted 2 new UPVC windows, Dry Lining & Plastering, Tiling & Painting etc. The list was so big, We work full time however our place was always kept very clean and no rubbish was left waiting around. Armando was working on other jobs as well as ours and managed to fit us in perfectly. Finished the job on time and to a lovely standard as we had agreed on. Great job. B.I am very happy to share my review, Called in the office just a day before the lockdown, required to break up some concrete that was allowing water from the outside shed and through the damp course and in to our garage conversion which was carried out 7-8 years ago by another building firm. Armando gave us some really good advise how to fix the issue inside the property which will not add any cost to our budget. we Found this firm very honest and reliable ,tidy, friendly and easy to work with. A. F.The team did a substantial refurbishment of our kitchen in September this year. Their work was to a very high standard and at a fair price. They had the resources to do our fairly large job on a timely basis. They took a great deal of pride in the end result and were very accommodating as we made various changes along the way, such opening and required structual calculations also two large steels were fitted in place and we added a semi-pitch roof to give us more space and light to our kitchen..They always made sure we were happy with their work. Armando and all his team were always cheerful, polite and a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others.

Very fast plasterers lft the house spotless each day they left. we have had to do the painting by a friend of ours and he Did not need to do any filler at all. Plastering looked like a Mirror finish. I. H.I wanted to do a simple kitchen extension but soon after I decided to fit a new kitchen and bathroom along with other renovations because Armando is very trustworthy, professional and honest. We had loft conversion which actually another company had started the job and left us in the lurch.AM General Building are extremely professional,productive, eficent and enormously hard working.Armando is an expert in his field, he is well qualified and very experienced.We would seek his advice at all stages of the build/renovation.
We had a16-week building ,this include a 7 metres extension at the rear of the house, a porch , a driveway, paving in the back garden and full internal renovation from new floorboards to fitting our bathroom, kitchen to plastering and decorating.
AM did everything and the quality of finish is high, Armando has high standards and has expectations of his team.We have had a few snags but Armando sorted these out for us without question as soon as he could.
In addition to the peace of mind the builders gave us, they were very very helpful, they collected most of the items we had ordered and our neighbours said how polite and hard working the builders were, this was very important for us as we are new to the road.

“Previous builders had left us wary due to work quality and time keeping. However, A.M General Building did a first class job, which was on time and in budget. Armando and his team were friendly, skilled and professional. Armando dealt with every aspect of the job and we felt totally supported throughout which was a revelation. They managed the job in a Victorian house sympathetically and are the best builders were have ever had! M. a.A.M General building was recommended to us by a family friend. we don't live in Brighton but we have a property which we currently are renting out to students. We had an issues with electrics, smoke detectors and fire doors were required on each room as the property is rented out to young professinals. Also there was some tiling to do too. Armando managed his team really well and updated the electrics, smoke detectors & doors with out any problems. I didn't have to come down from London to discussed the job, He went round then quoted via email which we both agreed on. Very please with how fast the job was done. thank you to everyone that helped to carry out each task.
