I can't speak highly enough of Eugene and his team. They did a full refurb of our kitchen along with some structural work and it was the best experience I've had with a construction company. Even when there was bumps in the road due to deliveries, Eugene took it in his stride and worked incredibly hard to make it work. Not only are his team hard working and friendly, Eugene gave valuable creative and technical input to help the project along. If only every construction company was like this. If there was 6 stars I would give give 6.

We are so grateful to have found Eugene and Sara and the whole team at Dempsey. Having worked with several builders since buying our new house (and trying to renovate it), I cannot express the leagues above this company was on all fronts. Amazing and regular communication, kept our house clean and tidy and were hugely considerate of us and our 2 year old. They always put safety and quality first which, when you’re knocking things down is hugely reassuring. Nothing ran smoothly in our project but I wouldn’t fault Eugene and the team at all. I wish I’d found them earlier and it’s made me feel less daunted about doing more work in the future (if they’ll have us back). I felt so taken care of and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Eugene and his entire team are trustworthy, hard working and each one of them, no matter what their trade is, work well together. Everything is done to the highest standard and they take care around your home. It’s obvious from start to finish that they take pride in their work. Flat roof was leaking. New flat roof fitted. Arrived on time, replaced to a very high standard. Really nice staff. Cleaned away nicely. Solid 10/10 from me. If you need your roof fixed DCM are 100% worth calling. Eugene was very nice and very friendly it felt like I had known him for years.

What an absolutely outstanding company! Eugene and his team have done a wonderful job transforming our tatty front yard into a beautiful paved area with new walls and a new front door. From the start, the communication from Eugene was brilliant; he calls when he says he going to call, keeps you updated on anything you need to know and he and his team are always there on time, working non-stop! Eugene and his Team were brilliant. I have recently bought a new property and within a few weeks I was getting damp coming through the window recess. It appeared that the previous owner had tried to cover it up. Putting plastic covering over rotting beading. Eugene diagnosed what the problem Was and gave me a fantastic quote. Considerably lower than others in the same trade. One thing that struck me with Eugene and his team were that they were very passionate about what they were doing. They turned up on time. Very reliable.Got the job done to a great quality. Got everything cleared away as promised. I am an extremely happy customer. Any building work, Eugene will be first on my list and would be happy to recommend to anyone.

We had a load bearing wall knocked through to open up our lounge and dining room. From the very first interaction when Eugene came to quote we immediately had confidence in him and were impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the works proposed. From day 1 to the end of the project Eugene’s communication was fantastic, keeping us informed of each stage of the works. The team were great at overcoming challenges and providing advice along the way. It was the first time we have arranged building works in our home and we are so pleased that Eugene and the team have completed the works to such a high standard and took on board and implemented all of our requests just as we had asked. They even arranged a clean of the parts of the house they worked in and we were impressed with the level of cleaning and how tidy they left our house after. I would highly recommend Dempsey construction - we had an ongoing problem with ingress on an exterior wall - other builders suggested radical and expensive work - removal of render etc, but Dempsey Construction proposed a pragmatic and far less costly solution. They conducted the work to a high standard, on time and to budget. Eugene was a pleasure to deal with - straight talking and courteous.

Very impressed with Eugene and his building team who helped damp proof a garage and repair a subsiding patio. Firstly, Eugene gave a really good quote. Secondly, I loved the fact that he and his team turned up nice and early on the first day too :-) Sam, Rick, Bassie and Jordan all did a really great job considering the hot weather. Eugene even went the extra mile to ensure that the garage roof was done properly when there was a minor problem too. I would definitely recommend Eugene's firm and would consider using them again in the future.

Dempsey Construction & Management completed the structural repair and restoration of the front bay of our period property in Hove, to the exact specification agreed, ahead of schedule and within the quoted price (passing on a saving to us). Eugene and his team were highly skilled and knowledgeable of Victoria buildings and had excellent attention to detail. They left the house clean and tidy each day and finished the job to a high standard. The best part was the Eugene provided updates at least once a day with photos of every stage of the build by text and phone, so we always knew how the project was progressing and were kept really well informed. I highly recommend Dempsey Construction for any building work in this area.

Dempsey Construction fitted a beautiful kitchen then removed a shed and garage replacing with a new, purpose built garage and work area. They removed the existing driveway, and replaced with a superb new drive and footpath plus excellent lawn. They where great company to have around our property for several months, always polite and professional. They left the property clean and tidy after every working day, starting and finishing at the agreed times and stayed within the agreed costs, nothing was too much trouble. Couldn't find a better team than Dempsey Construction and management.
