R. E.Lee, Lewis and the highly professional team did an amazing job of fully making over our two bathrooms (family and en-suite) in just 2 weeks. Everything and I mean everything needed doing from floor to ceiling in both rooms which meant a full team of plasterers, electrician, decorators, tilers, sealers were involved. What was so impressive is that every tradesman came when scheduled and they clearly all worked together very efficiently and were very hardworking. The team at Tile & Bathroom Warehouse who helped with design and supplied the products were also very friendly and knowledgeable, and the products are good quality so I am glad we followed Lee's recommendation to work with them rather than a larger big brand company. The house was kept very tidy during the work and all the rubbish was removed quickly towards the end of the job which was nice to not having it hanging around for long.
Both my partner and I work from home so we thought it would be a really difficult two weeks but the disruption was minimal and everyone was so friendly that it wasn't an issue. I thought this was going to be a very overwhelming project but it all went very smoothly and we are very happy with the price too. Thank you Lee and team!

The quality of the work undertaken was very high with great finishes. Most of all Lee was accountable for progress and kept us updated through the project which really minimised the stress!

M.We employed Lee and the team at Ambient to rip out our old bathroom and fit a brand new bathroom with the new sink, bath and toilet in different positions in the room, which meant building a stud wall. They did plastering, electrics and lighting, as well as tiling the floor, walls and bath sides - all of which was done to the highest standard.
Lee and his team were fantastic throughout. They were polite, trustworthy and always arrived on time. Lee and the team at Ambient were clearly very knowledgeable and thoroughly professional. They helped to guide us through the process, listened to what we wanted and delivered a first-class bathroom, meeting our high expectations. We're really thrilled with the finish.
The job ran over slightly through no fault of theirs but Lee and the team moved things around to make sure that they finished the job quickly and to the highest standard, even doing some work on a Saturday.
We've now used Lee and his team to fit a new boiler and to completely renovate our bathroom. We couldn't be happier with their work and will employ them for every heating and plumbing job we have in the future. I'd strongly recommend them.

The schedule was very tight due to personal reasons and Lee made sure that every thing was done on schedule, cleanly and to a high quality. Having him in our house was a pleasure, all the other contractors used by Ambient (tiler, electricians, plaster, silicon and decorators) were also excellent. A great team.

H. L.We had a new gas hob installed, two radiators moved and a new radiator installed. Everything looked great, very neat and tidy workers who respected Covid guidelines of safe working. Lee went above and beyond and put in our new electric oven as well which he didn't need to do! After asking for the boiler to be serviced Lee found a fault which unfortunately condemned the boiler. He showed us exactly what was wrong with it and explained the whole system to us which I really appreciated. He gave us all our options, including how to fix the current boiler, how much a new boiler would cost and explained various finance options we had. The boiler was 10 years old and didn't have a magnet bit (I can't remember the name!) but it stopped iron bits coming back from the radiator system into the boiler - so we decided even after a full system flush that it would be better to get a new boiler not have to worry about it packing in even after paying to repair it. We had the boiler within a week and finally have a warm house and warm water to wash my paint rollers!!
Would highly recommend Lee, he gave us all the information so we could make our own decision on how to proceed. He's also given me advise about getting onto Bristol Water to update our pipes from lead to help with our water pressure. I like to understand the work that needs doing / how to improve my property and Lee has helped no end. 5 stars and he will be my first point of call for future work, I just hope he can fit us in!

I changed my mind on a few things along the way and he not only supported the decisions but advised on some of them. Being really careful that the end product was as best as it could be, without a change in timescales. His work is solid and the finish is great.
His prices are very competitive for the service he offers and I would hire him for any building work even if it is in a Project manager capacity as his ability to manage multiple activities without passing the stress on is top class.
R. M.Lee oversaw a complete bathroom renovation for us that took 2 weeks. He quoted accurately and didn’t go over budget, and kept to his start date. The project only went over by half a day. He recommended and worked with high quality suppliers, he co-ordinated other reputable tradesmen including a tiler, electrician and plasterer. There was no time wasted and they all knew their brief. He responded quickly to queries and was always polite and helpful, giving suggestions and advice along the way. It wasn’t cheap but I think the price was fair and worth it for a job done well and to a very high standard.

M. G.Lee installed my bed to bathroom conversion December 19. The finished result is absolutely stunning and a delight to use every day. Even though I was let down by deliveries, Lee took this in his stride and worked around the difficulties. C. M.Lee and his team have been brilliant throughout. I received a few quotes and met other suppliers but I found them a bit too 'salesy' or just not taking a large interest in the project. It was the opposite with Lee and I'm really grateful about that! A massive thank you to Liam who went above and beyond a number of times when installing the new bathroom; a real champion. S. E.Lee replaced my malfunctioning boiler. As it is winter he shuffled stuff around to fit me in quickly which was great. He noticed that my external pipe work was illegal which none of the other fitters even looked at. He rerouted everything and made it really tidy and of course legal. Complete boiler replacement in a day, heating and hot water by evening which was awesome. Very happy and would recommend to anyone considering a new boiler or gas work.
M. D.Lee and the team did a complete bathroom overhal for us and did an amazing job! This involved completely ripping out the old suite, re-plastering, installing a wet room, replacing the external soil pipe, additional internal stud wall and all the tiling/electrics.
We are both working from home due to lockdown and don't have another bathroom - the team were so respectful of this and always kept everything tidy and made sure we had access to facilities.
Communication was perfect throughout and Lee went the extra mile several times to ensure the best job. We also used the Tile and Bathroom Warehouse to supply all the fittings, and there was a great working relationship between the two businesses.
Overall we're so happy with our new bathroom and would reccomend Ambient to anyone :)

Firstly Lee impressed me with his excellent advice of what the options are in terms of wet room installation, then directed me to his very cooperative supplier with huge showroom for item selections. Only a couple of weeks after quoting he arrived with his team on the agreed date and time. Very impressed how he organised his co-workers to arrive at their allocated time slots, such as electrician, tiler, roofer (for fan roof tile outlet) and trash removal team. All the way he discussed any options with me and asked for my preferences. Only 2 weeks later I had my new bathroom completed to excellent building quality. In addition to the high standard of workmanship Lee and his team are a pleasure to deal with. I am very glad I picked Ambient Heating & Plumbing for the job.
T.If you are looking for a really good plumber in the Bristol / Bath area - look no further! Lee and his team have just replaced all the heating and plumbing systems in our recently-purchased 4 bedroom house in Bath, plus refurbished the bathroom and a shower room to stunning levels of quality. In a word, Lee is meticulous! To start with, his quote was detailed and clear and the price fair. Beforehand, he spent quite a time helping us negotiate the huge array of choices of bathroom and shower equipment. Once the work started, however, it was clear that everything was being done with the best materials and to a very high technical spec - especially the boiler and hot water tank set-up. Lee brings with him a small army of technical experts, so all the ancillary jobs of plastering, electrics, tiling, floor tiling, mastic sealing and even cosmetic repair (to a tile chip!) are done to his own high standards. Throughout, he kept us informed and was always quick to check with us if a decision was required. Overall, the end result is perfect and the whole experience has been completely hassle-free! W. B.Lee came out last minute on a Sunday morning to repair our boiler. I had suspected a malfunctioning flue fan but Lee thoroughly checked the boiler over and told me it only needed some lubricant adding to the fan bearings as it's an older boiler. This saved me a lot of money on replacing the fan unit. Highly recommended, friendly and very good quality workmanship.

I can only give praise to Lee and his team for the excellent job they did in fitting my bathroom and getting me out of a very difficult situation regarding my hot water system .
I had initially booked Lee to fit a new bathroom . This was a complete renovation of the old bathroom. Lee had agreed to take on the job after a number of other bathroom fitters had made some ‘poor’ excuses as to why they couldn’t do the job . I am situated on the 8th floor in a block of flats so the logistics of getting everything to the flat can be a bit more time consuming and obviously proved too much for a lot of bathroom fitters . This didn’t bother Lee and he was happy to do the work . Before the bathroom was fitted I had a Megaflo hot water system installed by another company. The whole situation regarding this installation was a nightmare from start to finish and I ended up with a cylinder that did not fit in the cupboard space and the fitting was not to ‘legal’ standards. Not knowing what to do I spoke to Lee and he was able to help me immediately . After the company had agreed to remove their badly fitted cylinder (leaving me with no water for 24 hours!), Lee arrived the next day and fitted a new slimline Megaflo. I only wished I had booked Lee to install the cylinder in the first place as it caused me a lot of worry, time and phone calls to sort it out with the other company .
Lee then went on to install my new bathroom which was completed within a week . Lee has a great team working with him who are professional in their trades so the bathroom finish is great (tiling is fantastic and the man who does the sealing is so neat).
I was on the phone a lot to Lee especially regarding the Megaflo system and he had great patience and advised me what was happening along the way.
My only regret was not realising Lee could install hot water cylinders as if I had known this from the outset it would have saved me a lot of worry and pain dealing with this other company .
This is a long review however , I just wanted to share my experience of Lee and his team and if you are thinking of having a new hot water water system installed pick up the phone to Lee , don’t make the same mistake that I made.

T. C.Lee and his colleague Liam came to fit a combi boiler and replace some radiators - couldn't be happier with my interactions with them or the workmanship. Our ancient boiler broke leaving us with no option but to replace it at short notice, Lee quickly quoted and carried out the work promptly. There was a small issue with some of the old pipe work following the new system pressure (not the fault of the installation by Ambient), but Lee came straight over the same night and it was resolved by lunch the next day with no fuss. Will definitely be keeping his number for the future - trustworthy service.

By Tuesday afternoon, we had a new boiler installed (the old one was a mess of poor installation followed by further poor modifications, done by other people). Watching Lee work, he is meticulous and thorough. I appreciated the honest advice on various issues and all explanations made perfect sense.
