The full-service approach from Chris and Julie made the job so much smoother, joined-up and far less stressful than we have experienced with any other works at our house. The full coordination of all work and sub-contractors allowed us, as clients, to feel safe in the hands of professionals … but always with a real sense of involvement in all key decisions, which was so important to us.
It’s an old house, and the inevitable happened, with critical problems being uncovered as the work progressed, resulting in the original scope of the job increasing significantly; but this never phased Chris and the team for long and solutions were readily offered-up and work always continued. From major speed bumps around unexpected excavation of floors and re-routing water supplies, through to detailed ideas about replacing architrave and decorating ideas, the sheer experience of the team shone through every week.
We are so pleased with the end result. Huge thanks go to Julie, Chris, Kieran, Dave and Dylan … and the army of great contractors used by O’Brien Construction. We would (and have) unequivocally recommend their truly professional but wonderfully friendly service to anyone.

B.Julie and Chris led a complete renovation of the kitchen in my Victorian terraced house which has completely transformed the downstairs of the back of the house into a characterful but modern and light-filled kitchen-dining room.
