I moved into my Mersea Homes house just over 3 months ago and couldn't be happier! The house is beautiful and finished to a high standard. The house buying process was so smooth and Angela and Amanda in the sales office were amazing! So friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The development is lovely, nice wide roads and lots of green space and it has a lovely calm feel. I fully recommend!

I have bought a home with Mersea Homes in Chesterwell, Colchester. Mersea Homes are the best builders. People in the Sales Office are very very kind, helpful and patient in answering queries and addressing multiple follow-ups. I love living here! There’s loads of parks and greenery which makes it more visually pleasing. We’ve had no structural damages so it's been built with good quality. Flat was very clean when handed over.I feel comfortable and love living here. The flat is modern, bright and spacious, I get light coming in all day. The kitchen is the best part of the flat. The housing management is very quick in taking care of issues which is great. Our neighbours are friendly and easy to live around. I wanted to highlight one thing here, Mersea Homes has given the occupation of the house 2 months before the promised date so that I can avoid expiry of the mortgage offer which would have put me into a situation where I would have ended up paying 300£/month extra installment. Mersea Homes are simply superb.

I recently bought an apartment in Chesterwell House, and as a new buyer was a bit worried about the process and how it would turn out. Mersea Homes were fantastic though, and Amanda and Angela are a credit to the business. Both were brilliant whenever I visited with my parents and always took out time to make sure I was happy with my decisions and any answers I received to any questions I had. I cannot praise them another and wouldn't recommend anyone else when it comes to buying a property, first time buyer or not. The experience from start to finish has been flawless!

It's been a pleasure dealing with Mersea Homes. From the moment of purchase till completion. I had been looking at several builders in the area and wasn't impressed with the built quality and designs. Recommended to me, I got in contact with Amanda (sales) who is an absolute star in helping you along, guide you and be an indispensable asset throughout build. The aftercare team and guys on site have been helpful and respectful. Also the site manager was always there when you needed him, and even now that the site is nearly finished they are there to help you or at least give you advise of where to go. Would I buy a detached house again from Mersea homes? Most definitely.

Amanda made the whole experience of buying my home amazing, always greeted me with a smile, nothing was too much trouble, kept me up to date through the whole process... they say buying a home is one of the most stressful experiences, but with Mersea homes and Amanda that is not the case. The house is finished to a great high standard. If I were to move again I would buy another Mersea Home. The aftercare team are amazing, all very helpful and supportive, thanks to Tom and Andy too.

Even during the challenges of lockdown and general COVID restrictions, Mersea Homes have maintained their build schedule to deliver our lovely new home on-time. Steve (Mersea Homes Procurement Surveyor) has been very patient, providing detailed and timely responses to the multitude of questions that we posed during the build. Amanda (Mersea Homes Sales Advisor) has been exceptional with her weekly updates being a highlight of our week. Her enthusiasm for the development goes beyond that of a Sales Advisor and no question went unanswered, even if she had to refer to others. The others we met on the site were all very helpful and appeared to be very proud of the homes they were building. The Mersea Homes experience has been very positive so far and there is no reason to think the same high-standards will be compromised by their after-sales service. This weekend we viewed 6 properties, and I had different experiences with all of them, some good and some bad, but I have to say my experience with Amanda at Mersea Homes was the best by a long long way. We really felt in good hands with Amanda, and she genuinely cared, and wasn't just after a 'sale', she took the time to get to know our family and what we wanted for our future. It's been 4 years since we moved into our Mersea Home on the Chesterwell development. The build quality was to an exceptionally high standard. Everyone who has visited our home has commented on this. From start to finish, the buying process had been smooth and we were kept regularly informed of the progress at every stage. But what prompted me to write this review was the aftercare we received. Normally you hear horror stories from people who have bought new builds. That is never a problem with Mersea Homes. I must make a special mention of Sharon and Andy for going to great lengths to fix issues if any were to arise. It is this aspect that is very ressuring, after all buiying a house is the biggest expenditure one makes in their lives and you definitely expect good quality and value for that money which I must say Mersea Homes has delivered.

I recently visited the Mersea Homes Chesterwell sales office with my son who is looking to buy one of the apartments off-plan. I cannot praise the service provided by Amanda and Angela enough - they were friendly, professional and very well informed about the details of the plot my son went ahead and reserved. They were incredibly helpful, outlining all of the options available to him. I did not feel at any point that we were being pressured into proceeding. Amanda and Angela are a credit to Mersea Homes - thank you!!
