Caine was brilliant! We have an old house and much of the woodwork needed fixing. Caine has replaced both functional and decorative pieces with enormous skill (he rebuilt the decorative apex in the photo completely). He has high standards and won't rest until it's right. Definitely recommend.

What can I say about Caine, but what a wonderful guy, lovely manner and great work ethic. He’s a young man, but his manners are impeccable. Book him for his character alone. We used Caine and his company, Rightlook Carpentry & Construction to carry out an extensive remodel and refit of the ground floor of our home to create an open plan kitchen and dining room and relocating the utility room. This included knocking down walls, building new walls, laying a floor, new stairs, replacing windows, installing French doors and fitting the kitchen. From the start of the project, Caine impressed with his clear, fair pricing and terms of business. Despite the difficulties caused by the Covid pandemic, Caine and Jim’s planning, organisation, experience, expertise and flexibility ensured our project was a complete success. We are extremely happy with the high quality of the finished work. Not only is he a great builder, who works very hard, he has a lovely, positive personality and worked very respectfully in our home. We were so happy with Caine & Jim that we recently had them back again to undertake a bathroom project. We had extensive work on our property running from September 2019-November 2019, including knocking down structural walls to create an open plan kitchen dining room, replacing windows and fitting bifold doors, a garage conversion to create separate utility room, including extension with new back door. We were so impressed with the work and we are really happy with our new space. Caine kept us informed at all stages and included us in any decision making, no matter how small. They work so hard and really went the extra mile to keep the house as liveable for as long as possible. The house was completed to schedule and I can only put that down to their hard work and attention to the job. They really do focus on one job at a time to complete as quick as possible, not like some other builders who have numerous projects on, which is so reassuring when you are apprehensive about any big job in the house. Caine and Jim were always approachable and put our minds at rest, making a big job seem easy and as stress free as possible. They even fitted our cat flap for us before leaving. Their workmanship is guaranteed and I trust and have no doubt this is honoured as we have contacted them since finishing to clarify and correct with no issues whatsoever. We worked with Caine directly for nearly a twelve week period. The communication skills possessed within the company are a key selling point. As the project was predominantly designed on the fly due to the type of build we were impressed how close the team stayed with us to ensure the correct finish was achieved at the end of the project. Working in the construction industry for 15+ years personally, I feel very comfortable recommending this team as a go to option for all of their offered works.

We employed Caine and his team to fit our Howdens kitchen along with turning our outside store into a proper utility room. Alongside this was a request to investigate putting a skylight into the kitchen roof. Caine provided a detailed quote prior to work commencing which included a separate quote for the skylight in case it couldn't be done or would be significantly more expensive than the quote. Along with the quote came an indication of the time the job would take plus an approximate start date. Fortunately for us Caine was able to start our job earlier than planned and arrived 8.00am on the first day as agreed in advance and left at around 6.00pm having cleared away all rubble and mess. From then on he and the team would arrive promptly at the agreed start time having text us to let us know when they were starting, would ensure there were dust sheets down in those places in the house they were walking through and would clear the areas of any mess before leaving. Anyone who has had a kitchen re-fitted will know that it can be a bit of a drama and ours was no different. Once the old kitchen was ripped out problems with the existing electrics and plumbing became clear but the team dealt with them professionally, consulting us when they needed to and contained the work within the original quote. What was particularly satisfactory was that Caine managed to modify our old sink arrangement and temporarily plumb it in each night so that we could still wash up which small though it sounds was tremendously useful. Where we wanted extras or changed our mind on things Caine would always make sure we knew any additional costs before progressing. Another excellent aspect to the service from Caine was liaising with the kitchen suppliers over missing parts, damaged parts, wrong parts and parts that just didn't correspond to the original design; this saved us an enormous headache and was clearly a far more effective way of working than us chasing around. The quality of the workmanship was second to none in all aspects and I would defy anyone to find fault with it. Caine himself seems able to turn to almost any task and produce a high quality finish and where he yielded to experts - plumbing & electrics he made sure the customers needs were met. At the end of the project there was the inevitable snag list which Caine worked through methodically to our complete satisfaction. Overall, what was a major upheaval for us was kept contained and as trouble free as possible by Caine and we would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone for any job; so much so that the next couple of projects we have planned we will only use Caine and would just wait for him to be free because with this level of craftsmanship and friendly professionalism he's never going to be out of work!

I would like to say that I am overwhelmed by what this family run company have achieved with our house. After a few years of planning and quotes we finally came up with what we hoped would be the best solution for our needs. They were very patient and offered help and advice from start to finish. Throughout construction they were very thoughtful and considerate to the fact we were still having to live at the property and were wonderful when it came to looking out for our house cat and making sure she didn't 'escape' when doors were being open and closed. I just stand in the garden and look at the end result, it's amazing. I would choose this company everytime.
