Derby Driveways were selected because their professionalism and value-for-money service was unparalleled to the competition. For instance, Joe who led the business, provided a brochure for design ideas, a written receipt detailing the full scope of works to be provided that I could rely on at a later date (not just a verbal price with nothing in writing), and design advice with a disclaimer that they'll do whatever we wanted - rather than doing what they wanted. Not only this, they installed 18 new fence posts within their cost-effective offer to mitigate damage to the driveway if installed after. Overall the service was exceptional.
Furthermore, the driveway is incredibly robust as it is underlain with a heavy duty terram geotextile membrane, levelled and compacted with heavy plant at stone, sand and block level.
The driveway took 3 working days to complete, testament to Joe's management and the skilled labour he employs. Needless to say, we would not hesitate to recommend Derby Driveways.

They turned up on the day agreed and were thoroughly professional throughout. The driveway looks better than we thought and they even did little bits of other repair work that wasn’t in their original quote. Their workmanship is exceptional, with many of them taking photos of the finished product because they’re obviously passionate about what they do. P. W.I cannot recommend Derby Driveways enough. From start to finish, the experience was straightforward and relaxed with no pressure sell and no deposit required. Payment due in full after the job is finished. Joe quoted us for a complete rebuild of a large patio & path area around the back/sides of the property, a garden wall replacement and a full cobbled drive area. The team showed up on time, after Joe reminded me of the visit some days before. They brought clean and modern heavy plant machinery and quickly set to work removing the existing materials and preparing the ground. Joe often beat me to suggesting functional additions to the job (e.g. conduit for cables/watering systems, new drainage channels, replacement drains etc) which further improved the end result. Each day, they tidied up and left the minimum mess possible. The job was finished in less time than they’d originally suggested (one team worked over the weekend). The quality of the work is outstanding. We couldn’t be happier. I cannot recommend them enough. Philip & Rhoda Draycott, Derby.
