After being recommended to us, Mark and his team have been fantastic from start to finish with us too. We are doing our house up so haven’t been at the property while work has been done but Mark has always kept us fully up to speed on everything and been honest if more or less work needs done. Mark and Jamie installed the skylight unit for a Velux OK10 sun tunnel in the pitched tiled roof of my daughter’s house in Dunfermline. Mark responded very quickly to my initial request for a quotation, and his quotation was very reasonable for the work involved. He communicated with me effectively, arrived on time at both visits to the house, carried out the work in a highly professional and safe manner, and achieved a high quality and good value installation. In short, I was very impressed with the service provided by Mark and Jamie and have no hesitation in recommending JMR Roofing Scotland for roofing work.

Called JMR Roofing Scotland on Friday lunchtime due to water slowly dripping through downlight in bathroom. Mark advised they were just finishing up for a weeks holiday but he'd be happy to come out on his return. After explaining I couldn't use bathroom light, he offered to come and have a look on his way home. Quickly diagnosed a crack in air vent on roof and offered to repair or replace. Opted for replacement which they happily went and purchased replacement vent and did straight away. Both Mark and his daughter Jaime were amazing and I couldn't thank them enough for delaying their early finish for the start of their holiday. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Following the recent storm a couple of tiles had come loose and I rang several companies but Mark was the one one who responded, and he came around as soon as he could. He really knew his subject having been in the trade for many years and answered my many questions. He did an excellent repair explaining what he was doing and the products used and I can certainly highly recommend him. Mark and his small team (or rather family) provided us with invaluable advice and support having moved to Dunfermline and into a property with a damaged/leaking roof. After the initial inspection with his colleague he provided us with several options for resolving the issue both in the short/medium term and long term. As we had an active leak at that point he was happy to provide us with a short term resolve at no cost should we go with him for the main repair job. Originally booked in for February the team went above and beyond in a planned holiday week (prior to Christmas) stripping out an old Tar/Chip flat roof and replaced it with a modern 4 layer felt roof. We were provided with feedback each day as to what work had been done and what still had to be completed over the 3 days. Will without a doubt recommend Mark to anyone looking for similar work and look forward to getting him back for any future house extension work. Thanks again! Steve

Mark and his team replaced our roof straight after replacing my neighbour's. They were working in our street for a long time and were professional and courteous throughout. I can't recommend them highly enough; they're all so friendly and take great pride in their work. The weather was horrendous but Mark came out whenever possible to keep the project moving along, even if they could only do a couple of hours at a time. They also left everything really tidy and had the skip and scaffolding removed quickly to give us access to the driveway again as soon as possible. Just a fantastic company who were a pleasure to deal with and did a great job.

We have used JMR Roofing before and I can honestly say the service and repairs are exceptional. I called at 8.30am after we had had a leak in the night and Mark arrived just over an hour later, and sorted out our roof leak on the spot for a very competitive price. I should add that this work was carried out when covid restrictions were in place, and Mark was really professional - maintaining distancing really well when he came into the house to check the upstairs roof space. I have recommended Mark to friends and family who have also used him, and they have been similarly delighted with the work. Excellent company. First class rating!

Mark and his team completed a quality repair on our roof. The job required removing the old roof tiles and fibre boarding replacing with new OSB sheeting, underlay and tiles. The soffits, facings, gutters and down pipes were also replaced with matching UPVC material. Mark gave a very competitive quote for the work and communicated throughout the work with updates - and worked during very challenging weather conditions. JMR Roofing is a “gem of a find”, it has taken me a lot of research and nearly 12 months to find someone to take my job on, as I think it was just too difficult for some other tradesman I contacted. In the end JMR Roofing came as a recommendation from a friend and it’s a recommendation I’ve not regretted. I found JMR Roofing to be, honest, reliable and true professionals. They communicated well with me and turned up when they said they would turn up, they kept me updated with progress and they were very reasonably priced. But I’ve saved the best bit until last, they can actually do the job! Large or small nothing was too much trouble. JMR Roofing are “old school” tradesman who can ”troubleshoot” and think outside the box to find a solution to a problem, they took pride in their work and got it right first time, they would not leave the job until they were fully satisfied with it themselves, a very commendable quality indeed. They also advised me against having some unnecessary work carried out that was not required (which saved me money). I would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending JMR Roofing, other than selfishly part of me wants to keep my “gem of a find” for myself.

Really can't speak highly enough about the work JMR Roofing did on my house. Had an extremely tricky roof job which im sure most tradesmen would have just walked away from(and Mark prob wished he had lol). Even before starting the actual job proper Mark came round multiple times finding the cause of the problem and then talking through various options(complicated job so no easy options), and again, this was all technically unpaid because we hadn't even agreed on a price yet. The work itself was top notch and done for a very reasonable price. They take pride in their work and don't just get paid and take off as quick as they can. Neighbor recommended them. I contacted JMR Roofing to see if they'd be able to do some repairs needed on my roof and chimneys. It's an old property directly on a busy main road and other roofing companies had been reluctant to take it on. Mark responded immediately then spent some time assessing what needed done and discussing our options. He gave us a very reasonable quote, spoke to neighbours and dealt with Building Services. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always available to answer questions. When work started he was brilliant at keeping in touch and gave me a daily progress report. I had complete confidence in his team and was really pleased with the work and service from them. I would definitely use them again and can highly recommend them
