Jonathon, Thomas and the team did a great job with our attic conversion installing a fixed staircase to create a new accessible store room. All the guys were great to deal with and the quality of work has been great. It’s really transformed the look of the upstairs. Despite issues with delivery of materials we were kept informed of any delays that inevitably happen in such an indepth renovation. We were also very impressed with the overall cleanliness.

We have no hesitation at all in recommending Newtown Renovations. Jonothan did an extension for us about five years ago and recently did a complete bathroom refit. The work is outstanding, we love it. Extremely high standard. All of the people who work with and for Jonothan are polite, friendly, professional and extremely good at their jobs, they're a pleasure to have in and out of the house. From the minute they arrived at put down protective floor mats to the moment they left with the room finished and cleaned it was a smooth and brilliant process.

I would highly recomend using Newtown Renovations. They have completed an attic conversion for us and we absolutly love it. They have been very good at communicating with us throughout the work, explaining any changes that needed to be made, and when tradesmen would be in the house. All the people in the house were respectful and nice, and did their best to clear up after each day. They were understanding of everyday family life (as we have two small children under 3). The work has been completed to a high standard and quality. We would definitely use them again for other projects in the future.

Jonathon and his team really set the bar for trusted, professional, high quality renovation tradesmen. We were getting messed around with a insurance contractor and having had enough got in touch with New Town Renovations after they did a brilliant job installing a new bespoke front door in our property. I cannot recommend Newtown Renovations Ltd enough. They replaced our sash and case windows with new ones (provided by Timber Windows and Doors Solutions- also excellent). They were always on time, very tidy (covered literally everything they could, hoovered and wiped the floors every day, they even tidied up the neighbours' garden), told us every day what the plan was for the next day. There were few small bits that required fixing at the end and they did that too. I wish we hired them for other jobs in the flat. Overall a great experience.

Newtown Renovations Ltd did a fantastic job in supplying and fitting new double glazing in my bay window & refurbishing old shutters that had been shut for years and now back and fully functioning. They did similar in another room and overhauled a window that was misaligned & letting in the draft. The experience was excellent from start to finish with checks throughout to ensure I was happy with progress & the final result. Great job and I have no hesitation in providing a well deserved recommendation.

We needed some repairs to our dormer windows, the external facings and sills had rotted beneath the paint work, the side windows do not open so roof irons were needed to create a safe working environment. Alan and his team were diligent and thoughtful in their completion of the work, we were very thankful for their service and a job well done! Jonathon and the team refurbished our Georgian Sash and Case windows and restored all the associated shutters that had been painted over decades ago. All the work was done to a high standard by a great bunch of guys who always left the place nice and tidy at the end of each day.

Newtown recently did some work on our bathroom. We had discovered a long-term leak from our shower that had rotted two of the joists underneath the bathroom floor and had damaged the shower cubicle. Jonathon and his team investigated and identified the cause of the leak, which helped us to make a successful insurance claim. The repairs took 5 days and the joiners and plumbers who were in were very unobtrusive and caused the minimum of disruption for us while they worked. We were very happy with the quality of the work they did. They replaced the rotten joists, put in new flooring, repaired the shower cubicle and fitted a new tray and shower panelling. They showed us their progress at each stage of the work, and discussed with us our options whenever there was a choice to be made about how to proceed. Once the job was complete Newtown provided a cleaning company to clean up after them. We are very happy with the finished product and will be asking Jonathon for a quote later in the year to modernise the rest of our bathroom.

*First class* We came across Jonathon at NewTown Renovations over 10 years ago. Our previous tradesman refused to complete an extensive snagging list at our refurbished West End flat and Jonathan came to our rescue. We have undertaken a number of other projects together since and despite getting recommendations and quotes from others, we always return to Jonathon. His team has fitted a new kitchen in my rental property at Haymarket during a three day fallow period. They also helped me renovate a friend’s property in the New Town in just two months to get it in a fit state for sale. His team fitted a new kitchen, new bathroom and ensured the electrics throughout the property met current regulations, and it sold very quickly thereafter. Most recently the NewTown team undertook an extensive renovation to our double upper at Dean, a nine month build which Jonathon successfully project managed to the highest standard. The roof was raised, walls knocked down, it was re-wired, re-plumbed, the windows were refurbished, bathrooms were fitted and tiled, the kitchen/utility room were designed and fitted, original features were restored - no detail was neglected. Jonathon and his team brought the dream of our home to life. We will continue to use Jonathan because not only have we established an excellent working relationship over the years, but we trust him implicitly. He’s straightforward, trustworthy and the standard of work he and his team produce is to the highest quality. In particular we have had window sash and UPC windows fitted and installed, along with general maintenance of the window mechanics. I can only commend the quality and customer care that Jonathan and his team from Newtown Renovations produced when undertaking a 18 month refurbishment works on my Backpackers Hostel . Newtown Renovations undertook to project manage the entire refurbishment from, clearing the Building, renovating approx 66 sash and case windows, forming new toilet facilities, replacing all doors ( approx 40 ) to allow us to fit keyless locks, repairing all floors, the fitting of an “industrial style Kitchen” for the use of approx 100 guests, and paint the entire property. Logistically, this was a very difficult job to undertake due to the location and the premises being in a Common Stair , 77 steps up !!? Newtown where extremely accommodating and considerate during the course of the works allowing us still to be open for customers.
