Of all the quotes we received for the removal of the bed recess wall in our tenement flat, Polbuilt were the most thorough in coming round to look at the job and detailing the breakdown of the work and the associated costs, and their quote was also the cheapest of about four that we received.
They commenced the work exactly on time, were always punctual and professional, and completed the job within the given time frame for the price they had quoted. The finished room looks great and I am very happy with the work. I would be happy to use them again and would recommend Dominik and his team to anybody. Thank you Polbuilt!
B. J.My partner and I contracted Polbuilt to carry out structural changes in our tenement flat, this involved knocking one wall and building another, fitting in steel to support the new structure and fitting in new ventilation and plumbing.
We were impressed by Polbuilt right from the start as Dominic, the owner, really took time to understand the project and our requirements, gave us a detailed quote for the job and provided honest feedback on a few ideas we had which really helped someone like us who had never before been involved in a renovation project.
The works were carried out on time and to budget with no unnecessary and dishonest hidden charges which is often the case with others. The team was working really hard and Dominic was making sure all was going according to what was agreed throughout the duration of the works, he kept in touch with us regularly and met us once a week in the flat to discuss progress and next steps.
All in all, we are extremely satisfied with quality, communication and price and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Polbuilt again.

I have always found owner Dominik to be approachable and helpful, with sound, experienced-based input to the final project plan (s). Once we have agreed what’s required, Dominik then provides a quote which has always remained accurate. Any design changes that I introduce are first discussed and agreed before additional work commences. The multidisciplinary team members are always punctual, friendly and polite and the work is completed on time and to the finish expected by us.
A. S.I can’t thank Dominik and his dedicated staff enough for meticulous work carried out in the expansion and rebuilding of my bathroom. They did what they said the would do in the time they said they would do it. Their work ethics, their attentions to detail to provide a finished product to my expectation and satisfaction was amazing. No corners cut, no patch up or no hidden defects. They carried out the job just like they would do it for themselves. Dominik’s staff were always punctual, they always came on time, they asked me what I wanted and how I wanted each step of the way until I was totally happy and satisfied with their finished work. They don’t need much supervision but Dominik was in control of the project and he checked everything regularly after each demolition and at the start of anything new and of course when the job was literally done and dusted. When they were not sure about anything then they waited to discuss it with me. The finished product is amazing, every corner, every cut, every line done in surgical precision. I can’t recommend Polbuilt enough. I am sceptical about some workmen and I was worried about what could go wrong in the process, if the cost was going to spiral beyond what I was quoted or if I was going to be left with something unsatisfactory after a big expense but I was made to believe that there are workmen who take their job seriously and these guys should be proud of what they do and they are role model to others. J. L.Dominik and his team converted 1 tenement bathroom to 1 bathroom and 1 ensuite shower room and plastered and painted most of our 3 bedroomed flat. Dominik also helped us find an architect for the design of the bathroom and to facilitate the various permissions required and an electrician to rewire the whole flat. Dominik was well organised, punctual and consulted us at each stage of the process. I can't yet speak properly to snagging as the team managed to finish a week before lockdown - several days earlier than expected and in time for us to move house. So far, we are delighted with the job he and his team have done. I am happy to recommend Polbuild for competence, speed and price.

It is rare in my experience to receive a service that, in every respect, provides exactly what you had hoped for. I have used Polbuilt for two very different tasks: the removal of a bath and the installation of a shower and the repair of a large ceiling damaged by a significant ingress of water. This required extensive plastering and painting.
