b. r.One of many of the new housing estates that are blighting the countryside around the area they are all much of a muchness. Mainly expensive multi bedroom properties, many of them sold, but all of these estates have one thing in common. They are soulless, the houses full of people but you never see anyone, except for walking their dogs. No kids gathering in the streets, yes they have gardens these days, but they lack the buzz of a community.
The houses themselves look fine but walking down those streets and roads it is an eerie experience. There again I come from an era of playing marbles in the roadside gutters but I deffinately can't see that happening on these estates. And another thing, where are all the bungalows? This estate is no better or worse than the multiple other estates that a popping up all over the place with alarming regularity. Life moves on, and so do these new housing estates.
