We approached B.A. Boyle to request some layout changes and upgrades to our Ipswich office. We needed an existing staircase removed and reversed so that we would have improved security and workflow. Brendan attended very promptly with a positive, can-do attitude. We received a competitive quote swiftly and he was appointed for the works. The team started the project weeks ahead of schedule. We were kept informed every step of the way and the quality of the workmanship by every one of the team was outstanding. After the staircase was completed we required a fire safety corridor to be installed so that staff would have a protected route from that section of the office through to the fire escape. Brendan has a can-do attitude and worked closely with the building control inspector to ensure that all of the legal requirements were followed with a high attention to detail. Once the work was completed it passed the signoff stage without hitch due to Brendan’s diligence and hard work. Both of these projects have B.A. Boyle’s warranty attached to them, which gives us complete peace of mind should we need any future issues. We were impressed by how they: - Maintained a clean environment throughout the works - Progressed the project at a good pace, done to a high standard - Showed professionalism and friendliness - Took ownership and responsibility for the project - Have excellent attention to detail The staff that B.A Boyle employ seem to share the same values of hard work and care in their workmanship. They undertake their craft with care, and attention to detail. All of their work was done right the first time around. For future projects and developments we will look to B.A. Boyle and recommend their services wholeheartedly.

We have been very happy with the work completed by Brendan and his team. The renovation project unexpectedly escalated but the required work was completed to a high standard. The costs increased as expected especially with the current economic situation however Brendan managed to contain the costs as much as possible. Outstanding work from B A Boyle and Son. We needed a few jobs done in the house (plastering, paining and plumbing work) and Brendan was able to get his team together quickly and effectively. Brendan and his team have transformed the entire upstairs of our 17th Century house, floors levelled, walls moved, doorways changed, new doors, 3 new bedrooms, an en-suite and a family bathroom. Extremely knowledgable, nothing was too much and many ideas to get around problems with such an old property. We requested some advice regarding a leaking flat roof, Brendan came out promptly and carried out a comprehensive survey including a video walk through of the roof pointing out all the issues caused by previous poor intallation. Lost Hot water from my boiler over Christmas, after contacting B A Boyle & Son a Plumber arrived at short notice, identified the fault and repaired within few hours. I also had a Hive thermostat fitted at the same time to replace an old outdated boiler control panel. All work was carried out professionally, at a reasonable price and all areas left in a clean & tidy condition after all the work was completed.

So, after reading in the local press about BA Boyle & Son in line for an award for their work and customer service (which I can now vouch for), I decided it was time to get rid of the manky tin shed I'd been struggling with for years. In addition, i wanted to block off the open space between an existing structure and the new shed - and to provide a rain cover at the opposite end of the decking. The old shed was cleared away leaving a concrete pad onto which Noel (the carpenter) created a bespoke man cave that has way in excess passed my expectations. The extension to the existing decking roof at either end has proven to do its intended job perfectly. Thoroughly recommended. Great service, (Noel especially) great company.

Having been let down ,kept waiting and messed about not just “once” but “three” times by previous carpenters, B.A Boyle have completely restored our faith in their trade! I cannot speak highly enough about Brandon and his team ,especially Noel our professional carpenter who achieved such a fantastic end result in my sons bedroom, with alterations to the wardrobes ,new doors and cupboards and installing a laminate flooring. The downstairs oak flooring which had a few months earlier, been laid very badly and just left by the previous “maintenance” man/carpenter was relayed, repaired and refilled by Noel. As a qualified plumber also, he came to our rescue averting a plumbing disaster which was “above and beyond!” Brandon and his team were always friendly, punctual, helpful and reliable .Nothing was too much trouble! We are delighted with the standard of their work and highly recommend.

Work was the replacement of wooden cladding on 4 dormer windows with Cedral Click Cement boards. Work had to be rescheduled by me from late autumn to summer due to concerns regarding unsuitable weather for finishing off and then again in May due to Covid-19 however Brendan was prepared to be totally flexible to meet my requirements. The job was carried out to a high standard over about 2 weeks. Inevitably in this kind of work there was some minor damage to the roofline caused by removal of old cladding but all the issues were snagged and fixed at the end of the job with Brendan personally taking charge to ensure the job was finished to the highest standards. I would definitely recommend Brendan and his team.

I have know Brendan from B A Boyle for many years now and used him on a few occasions as a carpenter for both commercial and domestic projects with extraordinary results. He fitted doors in my new office which had misshapen door frames, but it wasn't an issue. We also their bespoke carpentry skills to create a bespoke wardrobe for in our new extension which is practical and perfectly designed. He also sourced and fitted new doors for our upstairs bedroom.
