This is the second time I’ve used Childwall Roofing as I had a really positive experience with a roof repair at my previous property. I asked for a quote as the chimney breast was showing signs of damp upstairs so I was visited within a day and my roof was assessed. A few days later I had a quote emailed through. Really smooth process from initial contact through to scaffold arrangements and the repairs taking place. Happy that my roof will now be in good shape especially over the coming winter months. I am impressed by the friendly communication, speed of response and all round professionalism. We had 3 jobs. All were dealt with quickly and without fuss given that Christmas got in the way! The biggest of the jobs was a repair to a leaking extension roof and there were two options with two costs. We got Childwall involved on what we thought was a fairly simple leaking bay roof. Even though it turned into a much bigger job including demolition and replacement of a dormer window, John was very good at advising and then sorting the whole process out for us, including getting a structural surveyor involved before his team got the work done to a high standard. Honest, genuine, reliable. My mum who is in her 70s had a ridge tile that came off due to the weather and got damaged . Had 3 quotes that went from the ridiculous to the sublime. First one wanted just shy of £500 and the Second one made an issue out of the tv aerial but luck would have it , he knew a man who could take the aerial down. The third ( Childwall Roofing ) came and looked at the job , advised they could probably fix without having to buy a new tile and maybe some pointing might need doing on the surrounding ridge tiles. So was given two prices . One for repair and one for repair and pointing. Both very reasonable prices. When they came to do the job Phil and John they took pictures of the roof and said they could repair the ridge tile and no pointing needed to be done as the roof was in good condition . So thank you for being honest.

I had a catastrophic four-bucket leak in the valley of the roof on a 3-storey Victorian house. Got in touch with Childwall Roofing, because they are a member of Federation of Master Builders. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Within 24-hours they'd given me a quote and agreed a schedule of works to fit in with my availability. At the agreed time, scaffolding went up, job was done and scaffolding was down again in four days. A stand out part of the service was the level of communication. At every stage of the process I was kept informed about what was happening when. The roofers were considerate, unintrusive and cleaned up well after themselves. An excellent job. Strange how such an event can turn into such a positive experience. BTW: the roof doesn't leak anymore and the works are guaranteed for 10 years.

I had a leak that was coming inside my home from our extension roof that somebody had 'apparently' fixed. I rang John, explained what the problem was and he came out the following day at the time we had arranged, to look at the job and what needed doing. Got Childwall Roofing in to replace our bay window roof. Excellent service and workmanship from start to finish. Initial plan was to install a fibreglass roof but was advised that there would be a problem with the flashing due to lack of space. They suggested using EPDM rubber instead and came back next day to install it. Looks great and very happy with the job done. Excellent communication throughout and very nice people. After moving into a new place last year we realised the roof was leaking in several places. It’s a very big flat roof on a converted coach house and the seller had had it patched several times in the past, so I looked at several companies on line and the reviews they had been given. Childwall Roofing Company had loads of great reviews more importantly a few for flat roofs. I had a few quotes and Childwall Roofing was very competitive and realistic as to a ball park figure I had expected. A guy called John came to my house and gave me a quote of what he thought needed doing to make my roof water right.We agreed on a start date for the job I paid a deposit via bank transfer and contracts where exchanged via email. The work was delayed a few days due to bad weather but John was Always in contact keeping me posted as to what was going on and very attentive and apologetic for any delays even tho he has no control over the weather clearly lol. The team they have working for them that I met where all very polite and very professional and pleasant, nice lads whom I felt very comfortable interacting with and having on my property. The job was carried out with zero issues or mess left behind. My new roof now is water tight and 100% quieter for me when it rains (I didn’t realise how thin the old roof must have been till now) I would highly recommend this company to anybody considering getting any roofing work done! Needed work doing around damp around chimney breasts. Tried a number of Google 4 to 5 star Liverpool roofers, including Saxon Roofing and Maintenance Free Roofing. Loads of time wasted whilst the problem got worse. Finally, dealt with John at Childwall Roofing- quote within a week, scaffolders here within a few days of accepting the quote and work completed professionally and promptly. Time will tell whether the problem is sorted, but all work is guaranteed so have no concerns due to the overall professionalism of the firm. 100% would definitely recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish. Had a leaking flat roof with a custom built Window... Essentially a custom earlier job by another builder, prone to leaking. John was quick to assess the work required, and extremely personable and professional. Pragmatic assessment of work required. Gave a written assessment and quote. Due to the complexity of job first attempt to fix did not entirely stop the leak, but were extremely rapid in coming to increase the corrective maintainance for no extra charge. Hasn't leaked since despite heavy rain, which is an improvement on the original job. Would recommend highly and use again.
