William did a great job of replacing stone coloured render on the front of our property. He did the job quickly and efficiently taking time to explain what he was doing. The area was left clean each day and he even topped up the adjacent path and flower bed with fresh stone chips and top soil making it look neat and tidy. Very pleased with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

He then, on short noticed had a look at a roof leak and fixed this quickly and efficiently. We asked Billy to design and built a retaining wall, incorporating a decorative concrete panel, to house a raised herb bed. Billy was at all times pleasant and professional. His attention to detail was excellent, he was punctual, reliable and very tidy. He also did a few smaller maintenance jobs for us. We are very happy with the wall and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Billy did a fantastic repair to Ravelston Golf Club car park wall. He left the job tidy each night and when finished you wouldn't know that the wall had ever been badly damaged. Top quality work, I would have no hesitation recommending Stenhouse Stone.

Billy done a superb job of rendering our 1890’s cottage. He’s polite, professional and very hardworking. Billy wouldn’t leave site without updating me with progress too. Before work began he provided extensive information on the product we were using due to the age of the property (we used Thermocromex as its breathable). He was not willing to cut corners and so he stripped the house back to bare brick and stone (there were two layers of existing cement render which was bossed/cracked). This is something that others were not willing to do. His quote was competitive and I felt at ease with him being on site. I would not hesitate to recommend Billy to anyone. He also came back for an additional job fixing slate tiles on the roof at very short notice after a night of stormy weather.

Can't rate the guy highly enough,after having rain water come into my dinning room and me having to rip half my ceiling down to find where the leak was coming in I managed to track the leak down to the mortar joints beneath a window,a friend recommend billy to me and within less than a day billy turned up and explained why it was leaking so badly(mortar failure from when the house was built,cold weather)he set to straight away and solved the problem.needless to say the water no longer leaks into my dinning room bill had got it sorted an I cant thank him enough,a really nice guy and knows his stuff his price was really good as well.not all heros wear capes thanks billy.
