V. S.We instructed Battersea Builders to do a side return/kitchen extension and remodel the ground floor. After a lot of research and deliberation we decided to go with them given the reasonable quote and design advice, as well as the positive feedback we heard from others in the area who had used them.
The project progressed smoothly; only a couple of minor glitches with the tile supplier but ultimately we were impressed as had envisaged the whole project being a nightmare!
The finished project is everything we had hoped it would be and we would happily recommend them as a reliable and reputable building firm to use.
a. a.We were really keen to find a builder who could advise on the best way of tackling major parts of the project i.e. fully rewiring and re-plumbing the house - to providing ideas and examples of some of the more cosmetic elements i.e. creating a dressing room, indoor/outdoor dining and new guest ensuite reconfiguration. The Battersea Builders team did both and enabled the project to flow smoothly and quickly in order; we also used all their ideas for lighting!
They're easy to work with and kept us briefed at every stage so we knew where we were with budget and plan. We now have our dream house and couldn't recommend them more highly, good builders like this are a rare find. Overall - thrilled.
