Previously came across when my Client [ a developer ] needed to get drawings done for a split of property into 2 flats. The previous plans where not great and they caused us may issues onsite. As a builder I can adapt but it help when plans are good. My client set me with the task of finding a new design team that also carried out engineering services. I found Bischell. The project went well and they were used again in the next development. I worked well with the team to get the drawings I needed, the engineer was a little slow but the details where really good. The reason I am posting this is that I recently managed to exchange in a property in Dartford and I only had Bischell in mind for my project due to the drawings I had previously received and used for the builds. Now I was the main client, lol. It was great working with the team and getting all my plans very quickly as I was nervous about wasting time now I had the keys. They sent Annie [ Architect ] to me within the next day and all the set was done by the end of the week. During the process I found there was a potential to avoid one beam so they modified the drawings to suit this site condition. Very happy. Will send photos when its done!

We have now been living in our new build house in Gerrard's Cross for over a year and Bischell recently got in contact to request the retainer which we had agreed to be paid after 6 months, but they kindly extended to 12 as I was very nervous any problems would come up and they would be too busy to come back. We put all our savings into this project and looking back we are glad to put our trust in Bischell as the main contractor. They managed all the subcontractors including some of my own suppliers to (save on costs), with great professionalism. We had a few bumpy moments along the way but they handled all the challenges with great integrity.

We hired bischell with the task of getting approval for: Double storey side and rear as well as loft and 8m rear extension. They explained to us the process needed patience and that dividing the applications would be best for the long term. We had reservations as the council fees stacked up. however once the process unfolded we saw the reason why and benefited hugely from this. Our full trust was given to them moving forward.

we recently started our housing project and had to stop our build due inaccurate technical drawings. We looked for someone with a quick turnaround and a fair price. The team at bischell really helped me. I was especially impressed with Darko who came up with great design one solution I particular of putting beams in place of some of the very deep footing planned for, saves me on the build cost and avoided further party wall drama! My builder was happy as he was able to continue ergo reducing my stress levels and leaving me very happy. I would have paid extra for this to be expediated which I kept quite in the hope they would not see my desperation and they did not ask for so I felt overwhelmed to leave a review which I never leave so if others are in similar position they have an option.

I was recommended Bischell through a colleague of mine who had their kitchen beautifully extended so we decided to contact them about a possible loft conversion and we could not be happier. The plans were produced quickly, accurately and I really felt they took on board our concerns and ideas, parts that were not feasible were given other alternatives and they really put us at ease during this process. Got the dream extension in my west ealing period property. We went with an ambitious design to try to maintain our high ceilings despite the restriction with the planners. When moving on to the technical design the team dropped the floor at the rear to create extra height and amplify the change in level. We used Bischell for architectural design services for a 6m extension and loft conversion. I found them on online. Felipe was quick to respond, and provided answers to our questions, he took on board our requirements and adapted suggestions accordingly. Felipe either came to us or we went to their offices on the weekend, as we could not make weekday meetings. Yana was the main point of contact for the structural drawings, and both were very responsive. We used the drawings for council approvals and to tender for builders. Overall, pleased with Bischell.

Great communication throughout the process. Bischell helped us get our rear extension and loft conversion approved in our dream home we bought in Pinner, Harrow. We took their recommendation of doing the structural work in one go so that the loft would be ready for when we had more money in the future

We were recommended bischell via a family member. My proposal was to add a 6m rear extension across the whole with of the property, it was phased in 2 stages to get the maximum approval, which the team achieved first time round. We also got a huge loft, despite the council making a mistake they finally owned up and approved it! 3 approvals! The experience was fun and they lived up to the recommendation. I would recommend them highly.

As a builder I needed drawings quite promptly. I called Bischell on short notice and they were able to attend a site survey the next day to accommodate me! The drawings where completed 24 hour later for a loft and rear extension. Extremely fast service.

We tendered to Bischell on a project in Edgware a few years back – I never went ahead with the project. A year later though a chosen contractor we crossed paths where we required engineering works for a project 3 Abbey Terrace London SE2 9EY. We then went back to for another project that needed engineer package at 55 Odessa road E7 9BQ. The party wall became complicated due to the neighbour getting bad advice from his party wall surveyor. Bischell’s party wall surveyor Bernie was very professional and helpful in navigating through some delicate matters. We then needed their planning services for this project and returned to for planning submission for HMO conversion. As a Doctor working busy hours its great to have a reliable design team to back up my trusty builder.

I had a complicated project to relocate some stairs in a period property where no wall was straight and I had the task of trying not to lose space in the bathroom upstairs as well as making my hallway bigger. The 3DS provided were great and I got to keep the original file which allowed me to play with it and share it with my family. Definitely recommend
