I used DARS Improvements for the loft conversion, side extension and complete refurbishment of my house which took about 7 months. I am really impressed with the work that they have done, and I have already recommended them to several friends. The client satisfaction comes always first for them. They are professional and have a high sense of responsibility which is hard to come by. Their professionalism, work ethic & customer service is second to none. Furthermore, they are also great guys and very easy going. I can firmly say that they are the best builder I have ever worked with and can highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do a building project. I was really impressed by the work that the DARS team did on my bathroom. They took a dingy old space and completely renovated it, installing a skylight, new bath, new floor, new toilet and tiles. The work was done to a very high standard. They asked exactly the right questions, gave guidance when I needed it, kept me up to date on the work and most impressive of all was the quality of finish. Every detail was done perfectly, and I am extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. The team are skilled, trustworthy, knowledgeable and reliable. We used DARS Improvements recently to overhaul our basement and turn it into a more functional utility and storage space, and also to level and tile our front yard. The work was superb and we have already recommended them to numerous friends. Works comprised electrics and lighting including replacing the switch board, heating/plumbing, insulation, built-in cabinet making and other carpentry, levelling floors, repairing walls, intricate tiling, painting and decorating. Pricing was fair and well broken down on the invoice, floors and surfaces were well protected during the messy phases of the work and quality of the work was excellent. The team were happy to spend time together discussing design options before starting aesthetic jobs which I really appreciated (e.g. laying out different sample tile arrangements to choose the best one) and often came up with ideas on how to improve the original idea. Doing building work can be stressful and messy but Roman and Slawek are kind, courteous and fun guys who make it all as easy as possible.

DARS were recommended to us and right from the start we found them to be very professional & patient. This was our first home improvement/renovation project and they listened, took onboard all of our requirements and offered us even better solutions, filling us with confidence we needed and an open dialogue that allowed us to discuss and change certain aspects as we went along. They worked on an extremely tight dead-line to ensure the house was completed by Christmas, working around our needs and commitments, causing the least amount of disruptions to our daily lives as possible. Not only did they completely strip-out and re-fit our bathrooms, they redecorated the entire house floor-to-ceiling, laid flooring, rejuvenated the stairs, moved radiators, moved lights switches and increase our storage space dramatically. It enabled us to make our new house, our home and start the new year afresh. I can’t thank them enough. We have already recommended them and will continue to do so, and to be honest, if and when we do decide to do any DIY, repaint a room or hang more than a picture, we will just get in touch with DARS again.

Roman and his team levelled our garden and then returfed it. They did an amazing job and our garden is transformed. They were polite and hardworking and we hope to use them again for other work on our house and garden. It was nice to find some reasonably priced builders who were happy to do smaller jobs and not just big projects.
