Michael and Mark at MMR did an absolutely fantastic job on our house and we were not only impressed with the quality of their work but their organisation and approach. From the beginning They arrived when they said they would and were polite and friendly. From the time they quoted for the work to the day they finished they maintained open and clear communication, kept us informed of progress and maintained and completed the work on budget and on schedule. In addition they are really lovely Chaps. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and would use them again without hesitation.

I can not recommend MMR Pointing highly enough. As you can see from the before and after pictures below their workmanship is of the highest quality and has transformed the front of my house. They jet washed and repointed the brickwork. They made a real effort to keep any mess as minimal for myself and the neighbours as possible. They arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule. And while they were here they were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and I think the result speaks for itself.

I was experiencing some damp in my flat due to a combination of badly degraded pointing and flashing around my chimney that was not correctly installed. I got quotes from several companies, some of whom did not know about how to maintain Victorian properties and tried to talk me into getting rendering or using sand and cement mortar which would have made the damp worse. MMR both understood that older properties need lime mortar, and gave me a very reasonable quote. They removed the chimney, reset the flashing and redid the pointing on my back wall. They completed the work when they said they would, were very polite and explained everything they were doing, and didn't leave my garden in a mess. The wall looks great and it's a huge relief to have the problem sorted.

The brick pointing on our building had not been touched in around 60 years and looked awful. MMR worked diligently over several weeks to make it look fresh and clean again, providing an excellent service. It suddenly looks like a much newer building! We were very pleased to have found MMR Pointing Service, as we were searching for someone who could do our repointing using lime mortar. Michael and Mark were extremely professional and polite.
