RPC built a 4ft extension a loft conversion last year (2021). They were recommended by my brother, who had a long extension built by them. I had a number of quotes from various builders and although they were not the cheapest, I thought that they were best value when taking everything into consideration.
They were very professional to deal all the way through the process. The detailed quote was provided within days and we able to agree the price and start date very quickly.
The work started on the exact day they promised and finished only 2 weeks later than planned and the slippage in the date was communicated early, with the reasons completely understandable and unavoidable.
In terms of of the standard of work, I must say it was better than expected and I have very high standards. Of course there we one or two things I was not happy with but Jon and the team were happy to rectify to my specifications..
I am extremely happy with the end result and could not recommend them more!

Top Professional Team!
I've been working with Raynes Park Construction for over 7 years supplying them with Kitchens from Benchmarx Joinery (MERTON)
From start to finish Jon and Chirag make the process so simple. From the way they introduce us to their clients and leave them in our capable hands when selecting a kitchen range appliances worktops etc, keeping everyone up up-to-date with how the project is progressing until they require materials on site.
They also give great advice on how to add value to your home or office. Great knowledge of the construction and building industry and very professional. Highly recommended for you renovations or refurbishments.

Whilst we didn't proceed with our project due to external factors- we found Raynes Park Construction great to deal with. Charlie was very knowledgeable , personable and pulled together a very impressive quote with good detail. Wouldn't hesitate to contact again.

RPC did a rear extension, garage to utility room conversion, 2 new bathrooms and full refurb throughout (re-wire, re-plumb, new floors, ceilings, replastering etc).
Charlie and Jon are really nice guys. They are genuine, honest and very friendly. They spent time with us to go through the quote and we met at Jon’s house to go through it all. Top guys. The quote was detailed and thorough. During the build they responded instantly and are always available. The whatsapp group was buzzing!
The builders they subcontracted to were very good. The standard of building work was excellent. They would turn up early in the morning and work hard. We are very pleased with the finished product. The site was left tidy all the time (when they could!)
I would recommend RPC for all of the above. I have not given 5 stars because we did experience a couple of “classic” issues with builders.
The job overran by approx. 8 weeks, on an initial estimate of 12 weeks. 20 weeks was still much quicker than any other builder had quoted. We had a couple of weeks of inactivity due to the builders having their head turned by another job. But I do feel this is fairly standard in the building trade!
At times I felt Jon and Charlie were just passing though problems to us, and could have actively resolved them. This is partly a product of the builders being so proficient, that Jon and Charlie would not be able to disagree with them. But there is always more than 1 way of doing things, and we had a few frustrating conversations to get there. Again this is not a massive issue and quite standard I think. We had a very detail orientated architect (which had positives and negatives), and we had to compromise along the way between what we had in the plans and what was “normally” done. Having said that I would have appreciated it if Jon & Charlie paid more attention to the plans and made sure the builders were executing them correctly, rather than relying on the builders to do it their way. I know this can be much worse in the building trade, where you get home from work and the builder has done it his own way and it’s too late to change.
We also had quite a few extras at the end which I did not think were necessarily an extra charge (a couple of hours work for one guy). They were not a meaningful cost to the job though. I think Jon and Charlie are revising how they formulate their quote to make sure this sort of thing doesn’t happen.
We had very few snags. And they were also resolved with minimum fuss and with Jon & Charlie’s usual friendly way. There were no issues getting builders to come back.
All in all, great guys, very proficient and efficient builders. Issues above are minor and I would say fairly usual for the industry.

Jon and Charlie of Raynes Park Construction took on our renovation and made short work of what I was expecting to be an exhausting project. After having been left high and dry by a previous 'expert' in damp subfloor diagnostic and repair, I was scrambling to find a team that could completely rip out my Victorian subfloor and make like new. Jon exuded confidence in his know-how and his team, and his word was backed by a squad of tireless builders who arrived in the early morning and worked until I started to wonder if these guys ever got hungry.
Like any typical (i.e. painful) renovation, we made discoveries that increased the scope and drew on more resources, but within hours Jon had more materials and plumbers and cement trucks at our door, and the builders rolled with the punches.
What could have taken someone else several weeks, Jon's team bashed out in one, and when I pulled out final snagging after they had already packed up, they made no fuss and went the extra mile. Overall communication was swift and responsive with Jon and Charlie, they were always available to discuss, and tolerated a lot of my google-facts even if half of them didn't apply. The builders always closed up nice, took care with the house, and waste was managed and picked up.
All told, I am very pleased with the speed and quality of the work, and at a competitive value, especially given the circumstances.

Really impressed with RPC from start to finish. They made selection easy at the front end with detailed pricing, we had fun through construction and they bloody well delivered on their promises and quality at completion. I am a VERY happy customer. THANK YOU

We are amazed overall by the work that Raynes Park Construction did to refurbish our stairs! Their work is excellent and very high quality. They have been very diligent and responsive throughout the entire period. They have also accommodated all of our requests and finished the work in a miraculously short period of time without compromising from the quality of the work.

We were recommended RPC by someone who had a similar extension done and I would happily pass on my recommendation to others too. Jon and Charlie were very knowledgeable from the outset when it came to pulling together the budget for the build and even took the time to come and talk through the quote item by item to ensure we were all on the same page, something I hadn’t experienced from other contractors I contacted.
When it came to the build I’ve never seen contractors work so fast, we set out a 12 week program and the guys had it finished (minus snagging) by week 9. Very conscientious team and always cleared up the space before leaving at night. Any issues we encountered throughout the build were dealt with diligently and quickly and I was super impressed with the attention to detail and finishing touches. Will no doubt come back to RPC on our next building project!

RPC carried out Phase 1 (wrap around ground floor extension) of our build for our dream home.
From the start of the process to the end of the build, Chigs and Jon were always on hand to answer any questions or concerns we had.
We initially contact RPC over 2 years ago to quote us on our build work, then with the plans changing they requoted us on the work, but unlike all the builders we contacted RPC were the only company to take the time to sit down with us and go through the detailed quote with us.
When it came to doing the build work, RPC were on point with all the work, very professional and always there to advise on anything to do with the build.
Would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have work completed on their house however big or small. You won't be disappointed.
