Quick to respond, came round to quote and were very upfront about cost. Initially they said they could fit us in around 7 to 10 days which was fine, but they ended up being able to squeeze us in a couple days after quoting, which was awesome. It was a fairly small job, bit of flashing repair and stop cap of the gutter repair. Everything was done within a couple hours, they were very tidy and the work looks great. They honoured the quote (which was quite reasonably priced) and I was able to pay via bank transfer, very convenient. Overall, they were very friendly, honest and good quality. Definitely would recommend them.

Renown are the no-fuss, quick & professional option. Steve was quick to visit me at my property, find the problem with my roof leak and offer a reasonable quote. His level of experience stood above others who had quoted for the work. The team arrived a few days later and completed the work quickly with no disruption to me while working from home. Once the job was finished they showed me photos of their roof work which were to a high standard. Great service and well worth calling for a quote.

Steve & Tom did some excellent work on my leaking garage roof. Now the roof is watertight, and all surrounding brickwork was also fully repointed by them. Very professional and efficient service… I’m a very happy customer!

'Renown Roofing' recently replaced one of the valleys on my roof as well as attending to some other minor repairs. Their service was absolutely superb and I cannot fault them in any way. The work was undertaken with the minimum of fuss or mess and was completed to the highest standard. A few days before, Steve provided me with photographic evidence of the problem and gave a very fair price for the repair. The team were very friendly and Steve especially was most helpful, polite and eager to please. He is clearly a skilled craftsman and his customer relations are second to non. Since the repair we have had several storms and our new valley is doing its job splendidly! I will certainly be using them again should the need arise. Highly recommend Steve and the guys at Renown Roofing! Steve replaced our guttering, and fixed a few issues with our roof. From start to finish, Steve was always happy to take our calls, keep us updated and answer any 'silly' questions myself (or partner) had. Not too clued up on pricing, but compared to a few other quotes - it seemed about right and the work (touch wood) was all done to a high standard. Wont hesitate to use Renown again!

Steve and his team removed a problematic chimney from the rear of our property. You cannot tell where the old chimney used to be, after matching the new roof tiles with the originals. He also raked out all the old mortar from the ridge tiles and repointed. He even put me a new aerial bracket up. Great job and would definitely recommend his services.

After our gutters were badly fitted by another tradesman, we called Renown Roofing and spoke to Steve. He came around exactly at the time arranged to take a look and gave us lots of advice and a very reasonable quote to have the gutters repaired, ridge tiles repointed and to replace a couple of slates that had come loose after the recent bad weather. Steve was really helpful and professional, turning up on the agreed day and did a fantastic job leaving the place clean and tidy too. Cannot recommend Renown more highly, we were totally satisfied with the job.

November 2019 Recently our flat roof over our garage and kitchen started to leak. We contacted Steve and Tom at Renown Roofing who called when they said they would to review the damage. We found them both very knowledgable and they explained exactly what needed to be done. We were given a written quote within a short period of time, the quote was found to extremely reasonable and competitive. Therefore we asked them to start the job as soon as possible. The job was started and completed within the time they stated it would take,even working on a Saturday to complete the job on time. Steve even called back a few days later to check we were happy with the job and check there were no problems. We have used Renown Roofing previously to replace missing tiles on our main roof and to replace guttering and down spouts. They have always called when they said they would and never let us down. Steve and Tom are always very polite and tidy workers and we will continue to use Renown Roofing in the future, we highly recommend them. Frank and Janet Hodgin.

Would highly recommend Steve and the team at Renown Roofing. Steve came round straight away when we reported a worrying leak through an old slate roof during heavy rains recently.....after inspection an interim solution was put in place to avoid further damage and the faulty slates were replaced as soon as weather conditions allowed. Very relieved to say that the problem has been resolved as we've seen no further leaks! The Renown team were also were very efficient when completing several other roof repairs as arranged, to the chimney stack and pots, part of the slate roof and re-setting all of the ridge tiles. This job also involved removing some ivy which had previously grown underneath and dislodged some of the tiles, and they cleaned out all of the guttering too. Really pleased with the neat and tidy end result.

8 years ago we were advised by a surveyor would need two flat roofs replacing on the house we had bought. We asked Steve at Renown for a quote. He came around when he promised he would. A big tick in the box as many didnt. He quoted a fair price for one roof, but told us he reckoned the other could last another 7 or 8 years so we should hold onto or money for the 2nd roof. How refreshingly honest. So he did the first roof - a fab job, and in great condition still. Almost bang on the 7 or 8 years he predicted the second roof sprung a leak. So we called Steve. Ana gain he turned up when he promised. Again he quoted a fair price. And again he did a fantastic job on the roof. I cant fault the service received or quality of the work which has stood the test of time. Steve is also a really friendly chap. I sincerely recommend Renown Roofing.

Recent heavy rain had has revealed a problem with my flat roof. Steve came to see it the same day I called and was able to fix the problem ( flashing on the chimney) then and there. Absolutely first class job done by Steve on my gutters. Very prompt service called on a Friday job done on Tuesday. If you have any roofing needs, gutters etc then I strongly advise using this company. I called Steve after some quite scary wet patches appeared in our spare bedroom. We suspected the chimney was the problem. He came around and identified the issue,and carried out the work about a week later- redoing the lead work at the base of the chimney and Sorting the chimney crown. Steve was doing a small job for us at church recently & asked him if he could call and have a look at our chimney stack ( some evidence of damp in the bedroom to rear of property under chimney. Came round the following day and advised us of what work was require and promised to return as soon as there was a suitable opportunity weatherwise - not much fun working up on a roof with all the recent rain, sleet & snow. Telephoned last week to say weather permitting he would be with us on Thursday. Arrived as promised on Thursday (that's a big plus these days) and undertook the remedial work cleaning off the chimney stack and replacing the cement on top, installing a 'pepper pot' cowl to prevent further rain ingression, replacing the flashing round the base of the chimney & removing redundant tv aerial for us. Nice guys, good workers, fair price for work involved and left everywhere clean & tidy when finished (another plus for Renown Roofing !)
