Cobalt completed work on our house in the summer which included full exterior wall insulation, ground floor extention to kitchen, inc new utilty room and downstairs toilet. Upgraded existing shower room, general overhaul of roof and chimneys. We are so very pleased with everything they have done . We initially had a meeting with Mike who spent time understanding our objectives, plans and concerns re the very old rendering in place. Chris was excellent in keeping us informed and managing the project and nothing was too much trouble. He clearly takes great pride in his work with his attention to detail. All of the workers we had on site were polite, friendly, respectful and good workers and again nothing was too much trouble. As with any project on a 100 year old house problems arose but Chris and the team were always able to resolve professionally and efficiently providing workable solution's. We are so very pleased with the end result and would have no hesitation in recommending Cobalt

I wanted to completely clad my house in External Wall Insulation - to make it warmer and reduce my carbon footprint. It was not easy to find anyone experienced in this work, but I can highly recommend Cobalt Carbon Free. They approached the job properly, advising what would be "best practice" and then accommodating to my budget and tolerance for disruption. They were willing to fit in with my timing. They arranged all the "extras" like planning permission, building regulations and moving drainpipes. They were pleasant and helpful to have around. They did all sorts of additional work while they were on site (for an extra fee). The effect on my energy bills will not show up until the winter but at this stage I would suggest anyone wanting similar work should get a quote from Cobalt Carbon Free

We were both very pleased with the results of the insulation and building work conducted by Cobalt Carbon Free. Our house was completely insulated and rendered and a large front porch was built in the same style. The quality of the workmanship and of the materials is excellent. From the initial contact, dealing with the office staff and through to project management, the whole process went very smoothly and this was due to your care and professionalism. However, particularly praise is due to the site staff who actually did the work on our house. They work so hard and are very skilled in so many areas. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very polite and friendly, doing everything with good humour and always with a smile on their faces.

I hadn't heard of Cobalt Carbon Free until I heard about the "Green Homes Grant Scheme". Making contact with this company was easy and I received a very positive response resulting in their representative visiting me at home, discussing my requirements, sending me an estimate of proposed costs and informing me how to process my claim - all-in-all a very professional company who were willing to help. The grant was approved. A further visit to my home which discussed their requirements, a date set was agreed for installation (which was met) and work progressed speedily.and professionally. All-in-all a very professional company who met all my requirements and I would recommend their use to anyone in the future.

The quotation was minutely and correctly detailed, and the quality of work was outstanding from start to finish. There was careful attention to our work at every stage. We had attentive consultation about the job as it developed. The timekeeping was excellent. The team carefully cleaned up after each day’s work, with meticulous cleaning up at the end of the job. All the results were as we wanted – and a much warmer home, at a price that was 38% less than another firm’s quotation that we’d rejected a decade ago. We know another property in a nearby street that hired Cobalt Carbon Free for similar work three years ago, and the owners are still delighted. And a neighbour who is a semi-retired builder expressed hearty approval of the work done on our house.
