Simon of SP Paving did the path and driveway paving at my home in Autumn 2017. This was an extensive job that incorporated different materials (drivesett Tegulas and stone setts) and varying geometry for bedding areas. Every aspect was taken care of from laying the sub-base, drainage (soak away), paving, front wall and top soil. This was the second job done for me by SP Paving and both have been excellent.

Simon and the team are fantastic and we would (and already have) recommend SP! Simon helped us work through colours and designs for our driveway and wall, we couldn't have made the decision without his knowledge and expertise! The job was done incredibly professionally and there attention to detail was amazing and we couldn't be happier with the end result! We had constant communication with Simon and the team throughout and they were always available to answer any questions we had. Our neighbour even came round once they had finished to tell me they had replaced a brick she had been missing from under her fence since she moved in some 20 years, she was very happy!

I received several estimates from different suppliers, and most left me with a degree of reservation for one reason or another. I did not feel this way with SP Paving. Simon answered all my queries at the quotation stage, and made me feel comfortable with the effort and detail to be spent on ground works preparation; I felt this necessary to ensure any driveway would last for many years. We agreed a price, backed-up with a detailed quote, which other suppliers did not to itemise in the same detail. The quote was also competitive. While deciding on block colour, we swapped at the very last minute to a different block and colour, and Simon's pricing was flexible and transparent. At no point did I feel I would be overcharged. I inspected the works regularly and this was always to a high standard. Most of the work completed in less than 2-weeks, and some finishing touches added later. Payment was only requested at the very end. Overall we have a great design and great finish!
