Alan did some building work for us in January 2019, when we swapped over our kitchen and dining room. We were really impressed with the quality of the building work and window and door installation, and the timely manner in which the work was carried out. Also, how clean and tidy everywhere was left after completion of the work. We recently needed a slight adjustment to a hinge on the french doors, and Alan arranged for someone to sort it within the hour. We wouldn't hesitate to ask Alan to do further work for us and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Alan and his team completed a kitchen and living room extension at our home with excellent results. We were really impressed by the workmanship from everyone involved. Completed on time, listened to what we wanted and used top class trades to finish the various jobs as needed. They had the added task of removing an old rasied patio with a substantial concrete base and they managed everything really well leaving everything clear and tidy when they left at the end of the build. Alan carried out a 2 story extension and extensive interior alterations to my 19th Century Cottage situated in a conservation area. All had to be in keeping with the existing building as specified by the architect and the planning permission. The end result was fantastic, exactly what I wanted. In the pictures above it is the white rendered cottage. Alans quoted price was what I paid with a few extras which were clearly specified as excluded in the initial price and discussed throughout the build. Top job, thanks Alan and Crew.

From the first site visit , to the last bit of tidying up what a professional outfit . Alan and the teams attention to detail and neatness surprised me as most building firms aren’t interested in that aspect of the job . Communication and willingness to change from the plan was key during the job . Even during a global pandemic Alan and his team extremely helpful and always willing to answer any questions . I commissioned A. Dodd Construction to build our detached annex. This included two bedrooms (one with en-suite), kitchen and lounge. They were totally professional throughout and they even provided vital expertise at the design phase to maximise the living accommodation. We were issued with a project plan as part of their proposal along with the quotation. They completed their works three weeks ahead of schedule and they were also within the original project cost. The tradesman they used were excellent and we are over the moon with the final project. I would highly recommend their services and photos can be provided on request.
