Not having had any work done in my home for many years when my kitchen needed gutting and replacing ie ceiling walls floor I was anxious about having it done. A good friend of mine then recommended Anthony and after talking to him on the phone and then coming to look at the job I was immediately put at ease. He talked me through what would happen and his offer to bring on board reliable plumber electrician painter and fitters when his work was completed which he did. In effect project managing it which made things so much easier for me. Anthony and Ian worked tirelessly and skilfully and what I thought would be a stressful and difficult time was not. I am really happy with their standard of work and thrilled with my new kitchen. What I liked was the fact he told me I could ring him at any time which true to his word he always answered or replied to my messages. They were great to be around and my dog loved them too! Just make sure you have a supply of custard cream biscuits to hand and coffee! They deserved it. I would certainly have them back to do any other work here.

Anthony and his team organised the whole house renovation of our three bedroom semi. Knocking a kitchen and living room into a kitchen/diner and a toilet and bathroom wall down into one larger bathroom. He plastered the entire house organised all the other tradespeople, plumber, electrician, carpenter and decorator. His brickwork, plastering and tiling was second to none. Only having to deal with him was a godsend and we really feel that we have gained a friend during this entire renovation which has only taken 2 months. We can't praise Anthony enough, nothing was too much trouble and we'll definitely be asking him to manage our next project.

Complete new fibreglass roof including guttering, interior walls rendered, insulation of roof, ceiling: plasterboard and plastered, 4 inch concrete floor. Amazing work ethic. An 8.30 a.m. start and 12 hours later the roof had been completed. No time wasting, job done to a high standard and a date set to do the interior. The rest was completed quickly, quality work and no mess left behind. Professional work at a great rate. Anthony and his team were recommended to me and I'd have no hesitation in recommending ALR Builders to anyone else. Awesome work guys, thanks very much. As a business needing some work at our shop, we wanted to use a local professional builder to do the work. ALR Builders were recommended. They were very professional, kept us updated at every turn, they were also very punctual and cleaned up the mess after themselves. The work was done to an extremely high standard. During this pandemic Anthony very kindly came down and fitted perspex sheets on the counter, free of charge so we were able to open our business as soon as lock down was lifted. We are extremely grateful to Anthony and we highly recommend him.

ALR Builders is currently undertaking a full renovation of my property. They have been thorough, have an attention to detail and have been able to deliver all of what has been asked for to a high standard. The property is a three bedroom house, they have so far completed work to the upstairs of the property which has been finished to a high standard. Work to the downstairs is currently being undertaken and this was additional to the work that I had originally planned, but I wouldn't have asked anyone else to do this work me. As the job has progressed if any problems have arisen or I have wanted to change anything they have been easy to get hold to discuss and they are very understanding and easy to explain things to. They have done plaster work, brick work, moved doorways, added a downstairs toilet, installed a concrete floor, tiling work, sourced the carpenter for the doors, sourced the plumber for the full fit of the bathroom and heating system, sourced an electrician for a complete rewire - all for competitive prices and all have been trustworthy, reliable and completed work to a high standard. 5 out of 5. I couldnt recommend enough.

An all round excellent job from start to finish. They repointed out stone front, after it had been sandblasted. They took out our front steps, and built new ones, which were set out much better than the original. They added drainage to the front garden before laying Astro turf. All the gang were very friendly, and I would highly recommend them, and will definitely use them for any future building work.

Quality service from a fantastic company, I asked for a quote for some plastering and it could not be beaten, the boys are extremely professional and polite, was kept updated at every step, nothing was too much trouble, the quality of work is outstanding and have in fact booked in for an extension to be built.
