Needed some hard landscaping done and we are extremely pleased with the work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend J Lowther and Sons. Jack and his team were friendly, reliable, hard-working and put in the hours. They left the area tidy, always clearing up at the end of the day. Would definitely use them again.

From start to finish the experience was professional and friendly. The team were punctual and worked hard everday to transform our driveway and rear garden. Due to a delay with a pergola ordered by ourselves they could not complete the construction of it but true to their word a visit was carried out at a later date and the pergola finished and we could not be happier with the end result. We have just had our front drive widened and replaced along with a refashioning of our back garden patio area including creating sleeper steps , sleeper beds and returfing both front and back lawns a job that has been needed for a long time. All the staff worked extremely hard and listened and responded to any questions we had during installation , courteous and helpful throughout the 8 days they were working here . We are pleased with the end result and looking forward to spring and summer for replanting borders and enjoying our new outdoor space.

Jack and the team have just completed a renovation of our garden which included a granite grey paved patio and pathway, new turf, removal of trees, sleepers, raised beds and eco drainage. The lads were so hard working and had the work done to an unbelievable timescale with no fuss at all. Jack and his Team have been brilliant. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done. Our new patios have transformed our back garden. Jack came to our home a few months ago to discuss our ideas for our new patio. He was so helpful and shared his advice on what was required - returning on more than one occasion to discuss our ideas bringing samples etc. Jack and his team are truly the A Team. Jack and his team did a really good job on our driveway. The house had a single tarmac drive that had seen better days and a large front garden that wasn't used. They had it all dug up and cleared away in a day with the new block paved drive laid 2 days later. The lads all grafted hard in some pretty awful weather, cleared the mess up each night. Good price as well - we got a few quotes and this was amongst the cheapest. We went with Jack based on the reviews and weren't disappointed.

WOW!!! What can I say. My fiancee and I are absolutely delighted with our new garden. We employed Jack and the lads in September 2019 to completely relay the patio, stage 1 of our plan. Words fail me to say how highly I would recommend these professional polite clean hard working humble key workers. The speed and diligence at which they work is beyond belief, and even though they were coming back the next day the thoroughness of cleaning before they left for the evening was amazing. Very likeable lads, plenty of brews and great conversations, working from home I enjoyed their company and life reflections. So now Stage 3 will complete today, the patio laid last year is getting a "service / MOT" and looks just like it did 12 months ago. Part "flooded" lawn dug out and stone centrepiece and slate surround now laid drainage won't be a problem any more for sure. Special mentions for Mike, Steve and "Omar" worked through the deluge of rain no problems, always smiling, love their attitude!

Jack quoted to remove two patios and extend one new large patio with drains. He gave us a quick quote and the work was done on time to the highest of standards. His team were great around the property and they cleaned up like they had never been here. Beware! this is a lengthy review. But, a few words won't do this company justice! After weeks of trawling through websites, reviews and countless appointments and quotations, I just couldn't seem to find someone who lived up to my high expectations - I'm a bit of a perfectionist! I wanted a brick wall and a fancy driveway - I didn't think I was asking too much. Luckily, I stumbled across J Lowther's company and after reading their excellent reviews I decided to give them a call. From start to finish, this outstanding firm has impressed me with their prompt service, expert advice and guidance, and high quality of workmanship. From the very first appointment, I was assured of their high standards. Jack talked me through the design and offered his sound advice on the overall look and offered a competitive quotation. We booked there and then! We booked a date for the work to start and efficient as always, Jack and his team turned up on the very day we asked for (very unusual considering the delays I had experienced from other workmen). His team (a fantastic bunch of lads) had the garden dug out and disposed of in less than a day. The gentleman who did the brickwork was one of the hardest working men I have ever seen, battling through all weather. The quality of his work is simply perfect! The lads who did the driveway were polite, hardworking and extremely clean and their work is outstanding. If you are looking for a company whose work is flawless - then you have found them! PS. I will add photographs to my review once the final work is completed on my house (new front door, railings and gates - I warned you I am a perfectionist). Jack and team - thank you for everything x

I can highly recommend Joseph and his team for the work they recently completed for me. Removing old paving, trees and shrubs and laying block paving. Jack , Mike and Steven removed our old tarmac driveway and transformed it into a beautiful Plaspave (Modena 50) block paved driveway with front path. The charcoal centre with brindle border and raised surround looks stunning, a complete transformation. The team worked exceedingly hard and finished the job In only three and a half days. Jack and his boys did my back garden on the 19th October. They removed old fencing, flags and an old conservatory and then worked to make a lovely back garden for us. They worked so hard that they had it all finished by the end of the day of the 20th October. A professional, friendly and helpful team of lads. To date Jack Lowther and Sons have completed two projects for us. Both projects have taken the front of the house from a tired looking space into the 21 Century. It now looks fresh, clean and excellent. In terms of work, I can recommend Jack and his team, who turned up at the appointed time each day and worked hard until the projects were completed. They say to always get 3 quotes before you decide, I did. I wont need to with any other work I want doing. Far better than I expected which is perhaps the wrong thing to say, but it was.
