We have just had our old concrete drive removed, extended and replaced with a resin drive and perimeter edging blocks. We are very pleased with the finished product and the hard working Romans team who were very helpful throughout. Thanks to Kyle, Miles and all at Romans for a really great job!

Thank you to Kyle and his team for transforming the front of the house. The work involved replacing and widening the existing driveway whilst landscaping the remainder of the frontage. The options were clearly presented and discussed at the outset allowing the specification to be selected. The finish was impressive, completed in a timely and tidy manner. Communication was good throughout and any snags readily discussed and rectified without quibble.

Absolutely brilliant hard working team from start to finish , we’re competitive on the price and had many options off paving bricks to choose from. They seemed more professional to other companies that quoted me , they were by no means the lowest quote , but I was advised on what was best in terms of bricks and steps plus + new Aco drainage system. We had a new resin driveway installed in June 2020. I was very pleased with the approach of the team from Romans throughout. Very clear on proposal and costs and all managed very well. The 10 year warranty offers extra value. The quality of work was very good and very pleased with the final product. I would offer that the company can consider their own team more specifically on site safety, shoes, googles, ear defenders etc. but an area for improvement and not a major issue on delivery. We have been through major rain and heavy frosts and snow since then with all remaining very solid and looking great. Worries of flooding all dissipated as the surface drains very well. A great improvement to our property and thanks to all the team on a great job,

Now a wonderful place, our garden! We are enjoying our wonderful garden after the sprinkling of magic from Roman Gardening services. In the summer of last year, we were left in shatters when a previous Gardner took out money and delivered no services. A garden that was desperate for a makeover and complete in-useable. Step in Romans, we had Kyle visit us, discuss our requirements and how we wanted to see the end product. Kyle was patient and explained a lot, combined with suggestions and ways we could maximise our space and allow for additions in the future if we chose to do so. Kyle was very professional throughout, he recommended certain stones for the pathway or allowed to get our own if we wanted too. His quote was highly competitive and we managed to get two quotes from him for other changes should we go with those. We had to call Kyle back because we changed our minds about a feature, what we liked was the fact that he came over and was happy to talk us though it. We went with Kyle, purely down to his professionalism, attention to detail and price. We will also admit, when his team arrived (2 days earlier due to another job completing earlier), they just got on with what needed to be done; no issues and fuss, great guys. We had Miles who was on the task on a daily basis, he was polite, professional and added a few extras to simply compete the look. Overall, we were blown away by what they achieved, cannot fault anything, no issues at all and delivered on time. They brought back some dignity to tradesmen, after our initial awful experience. Would I recommend Romans? YES, wholeheartedly and within a heartbeat; great job team Romans!!!

Would definitely recommend. We asked Kyle and his team to quote to finish off a small job started by someone else. We wanted Resin Gravel, which at present was extremely hard to come by at present, but Kyle managed to source some and gave us the end result we wanted. We could not be happier with the end result. I was in need of a complete garden makeover and didn't know where to start after carefully reviewing various companies I and eventually decided on Romans Contractors with the help of the reviews, the 10 year guarantee was also a factor in my decision. I found Kyle really knowledgeable and after listening to what I wanted from my garden he came up with several options and recommendations. The whole team were extremely hard working, friendly, tidy and their workmanship second to none. The quality of the products sourced by them within my budget was amazing. Kyle would talk me through each stage as they were approaching in case I had any questions or wanted any changes. I was well out of my comfort zone with this project and when some unexpected issues arose with financial implications I got very stressed, Kyle would explore all options so that we could discuss them fully along with the reasoning’s behind them so that I could decide the best solution for me. He kept in touch even when there were no issues to ensure everything was ok. This project turned out to be far larger than originally expected and involved not only major landscaping work but also brickwork. The fact that Kyle has contacts within other trades, i.e. Electricians, is extremely beneficial as he was able to schedule them in. My garden is now finished and it looks amazing and I can't wait to spend time in it. After service is great as Kyle has followed up to see if everything is ok. I cannot recommend Romans Construction highly enough and would definitely be using again should I need any other work.
