Had my Hotpoint Tumble Dryer fixed. Came back the same day with the replacement pump it needed. I was really pleased with the price and I will definitely use this company again.

My oven decided that late morning on Christmas Eve was the perfect time to go kaput. Managed to work out it was the heating element so set about looking for a spare part but lo behold all of the spares shops in the city of Edinburgh had shut for Christmas. Mad right? I found the store online and called in a panic. Bless the Saint working who not only identified the right element I needed and found one in stock but he also insisted he’d wait for me to get there from Edinburgh instead of closing early as he’d planned to. Christmas saved and I’d use them again next time I have an appliance issue! Can’t praise them enough.

Brilliant company! Called them up because of our leaky washing machine. They worked out a time that suited us best and showed up right on time. Stevie was really professional and brilliant chat, he took the machine apart in no time and figured out the cause of the problem. Now its working like new! It is always brilliant to find a local company you can trust to do the job right, I wouldn't look anywhere else for repair or replacement of my appliances, thanks guys!

Great service when my seimens dishwasher had a blockage. Happy to come back foc a couple of days later when fault returned. All fixed now. Really nice chap, and happy to recommend. Cost was £60 where Seimens were quoting £120.

The Service Shop installed a new Bosch washing machine for me yesterday. I previously had an integrated machine but chose a free standing one for the size of the drum. Excellent service and you would never know it had been an integrated appliance previously, plinth cut and refitted, old machine taken away and all packaging removed. You could not ask for more and same price as available on line. Recommend this company to anyone and good to support a local business.

The Service Shop came round to replace my washing machine rubber seal after the previous owner of my house let it get very mouldy and it began to make my laundry smell. Steven was brilliant and the replacement seal was fitted very quickly all whilst he was polite and professional. The customer service from my initial phone call to the completion of the job was top notch. The pricing from the Service Shop was also competitive for white goods and on the day of fitting the new rubber seal I orders a new tumble dryer. These shops are the backbone of our community and need to be supported as you will still get competitive prices and far better customer service the the big names. Highly recommended for all your appliance needs.

Our washing machine broke down last month and we called another "repair company" in the Dunfermline area first and they came out within 30 minutes, fuddled about for 3 hours, charged us £60 and then told us they'd need to order parts and then come back. All in it took a full week to "fix it", at a cost of £110, but they hadn't even fixed it properly and it broke down again yesterday, after just 3 weeks! So we phoned The Service Shop and the difference in the level of service was off the scale. Stephen came straight in today and said "it's alright, don't worry, I know what the problem is here, I'll have it fixed for you within the hour" and he did. It was a completely different experience to what happened the last time and we now have a working washing machine. So if you're looking for someone to fix your household appliances in Dunfermline or across West Fife, I can't recommend The Service Shop highly enough. A well deserved 5 stars!

A genuine professional and honest tradesman. I had a problem with the washing machine pump. Stephen came out that afternoon. It was not the pump; the pump supply wire had snapped in the loom. Not a common fault. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it in no time. No mess, no fuss. One of the good guys that are very difficult to find these days. Thank you.
