Absolutely brilliant and highly recommended! The lovely bunch at Yellow Print Shop designed and printed big display signs, brochures, flyers and business cards for when my business exhibition at The National Wedding Show at Earls Court last year. They were great - their in-house designer had such good attention to detail and was ever so patient, despite the multiple amendments I kept on making! All the printing was done in time to meet my deadline and I was really happy with the quality of all their work. Since then I have been using the Yellow Print Shop to print all my marketing materials.

It's okay as handy to have a printing company in Southfields, but they should consider providing a bit more service than just trying to be sharks.
Went to print just 10 thick A4 pages for a birthday invitation and asked to trim in 2 : "it's going to be a couple of quids extra! "
He was not jocking ! I paid £9 for printing and I can't even trim it for free, that's ridiculous !
shame on you, where has customer service gone ?
For sure when I have my 500 flyers to print I will go elsewhere, just because you wanted 2 pounds extra.

Hi David,
I'm writing to you again, this time mainly to thank you for answering to this matter. I must admit that I was seriously upset over the last two days and your reply eventually brought me partial closure. I do admit my share of fault, of maybe not doing a good enough job at making Lucas understand what I wanted the final result to be. But, I am sure you agree, that at least in equal measure the responsibility lays with the person offering the service to make sure the final outcome is correct.
Please see my initial email:
"Hello,
I have spoken with you in the morning. I am interested to print this brochure, 2 samples, matt paper, 250 gsm for the cover and 170 gsm for the pages. I do not wish to bound it, as I am trying something experimental. Can you please let me know if I can have it by tomorrow?

When I arrived the next day I found the pages of the brochure printed on one side only. When mentioning experimental, I was reffering to the binding; my work is not that abstract)).
It is even more frustrating when I find out now that your company policy is to re-print at no cost or discounted price any errors.
Instead, I have been blamed for giving wrong details, but my main fault was to assume that Lucas would know that a brochure that's going to be bind is more likely to have pages printed on both sides.
I was asked to pay a second time the full price.
For the second set of prints I personally explained to Lucas that I needed them cut as "I would bind it myself with saddle stitches" - by that meaning I want the prints cut the same way as you would sadle bind it, but without the actual bind. Let's say I didn't know exactly how to call this cut, but I truly believe that it should of been his responsibility to make sure everything was clear, especially after the previous episode. Despite all of that, the pages were cut each individually....
Even if we call this again a communication problem, the solution given was for me to pay the FULL PRICE FOR THE THIRD TIME. The explanation given was that I should of specified that I wanted it printed on A3. The truth I did not say nor A3 nor A4, nor any other measure. Again, I was wrong to assume that Lucas would be able to determine the correct size of the paper from reading the document's size.
I refused to pay and I left the shop almost crying. But the nightmare was far from being over.
When I arrived home I realised for my horror the second version, the"good one" was printed at low resolution (72 or 150 dpi). The fact that I was supposed to hand-in the brochure the next day, affected me further more. It was not my mistake, I have only sent one document at high resolution, you can check the emails and as a proof the first print had the correct 300 dpi resolution.
At the end of the day after meeting Lucas in the shop I was left with having paid double; and now having to choose between a version at good resolution but printed on one side and the other two sided but low resolution and cut wrong.
Please understand that everything was happening under the pressure of a hand-in at University, which finally happened this morning. Maybe that also helped me calm down and contemplate on the events and facts.
I am hoping you will consider to help me a bit more. Unfortunately, I already handed-in the low res version, therefore re-printing wouldn't help in this situation. I find a partial refund to be only fair, that is if you want to correct the situation. At the end of the day I shouldn't of been charged twice, as per your company policy.
I hope you understand and will consider my request, as I wish to put all aside.
