Now that I'm working for our competitors Amey it felt no different coming to Longley Ln tip. Straight on the weighbridge you are then told what bay to use by whoever is manning the weighbridge I then back my vehicle onto the bay they tell me to use. Once all the rubbish is out off the back of the wagon I drive onto the weighbridge again to weigh off, you are then given a weighbridge ticket with the amount showing how much you have tipped off.

Well sign posted and segregated for different types of recycling ♻️ Plenty of space and staff who are kind and helpful. Great place to get rid of your unwanted items and recycle ♻️ Good place to put your unwanted but use able items for other people to use ♻️

A Manager in the Making ... Not meet somebody that was as Professional as Daniel was at Suez Recycling Centre Sharston that was so Professional in a long. Very informative and knowledgeable about the Recycling process and the structure of Suez and Suez's goals and targets.

Had taken a bin bag full of clothes hangers and was just about to empty them out and the gentleman was really lovely and said no it is ok just put the bag in. He did not have to do thet. Friendly staff just don't turn immediately left if you are in a vehicle under two metres! We queued an hour without reason because signage is poor. Upon entering go straight ahead if in a normal car toward domestic waste. Overwise well.organised place Just went there today arrived 7:30 pm, they close at 8pm according to Google. Guy there using a leaf blower to tidy up telling me to take rest of my bits home, hus colleague a lady was nice about it and showing me where I could put them. As we are leaving could hear him talking at a woman who came alone at 7:45pm that 'they only work 12 hour days with a deranged smile on his face, honestly she looked a little intimidated'. Well mate get over yourself there are plenty of jobs that are 12 hours or more, I've done these myself and at night unlike your good self. You're paid to be there, those are the opening hours, you are public-facing so stop being a goon because you really come across as one.

I have used the Suez recycle centre (New Management) since Veridor failed. * New staff have been excellent and i as friendly as they can in the few minutes you are there. *The COVD19 has significantly disrupted public access but open at weekends. Queues are long so be patient, getting grumpy and snappy with the staff, makes it unpleasant for everyone. Please don't be a Muppet leave the attitude at home. *After you have struggled to get the van under the barrier to dump the settee, it wont fit through the gate. Hence the weigh bridge. Easy peasy to unload . Staff!!!. Likely not to help you lift out what you put in! but will tell you where it goes. Also they mop up the mess you left behind, and keep it tidy. I am a regular user, and very happy with the facility just so well organised and i like the staff, as they have always been courteous and helpful.

My job is driving bin wagons based out of this place. The traffic is usually a nightmare because of the painfully slow way they process the HGVs, sometimes there's queues all the way down the road. Public facing staff are great but staff who deal with external workers can be standoffish and quite rude, most are good though. If you are a car driver visiting the tip, it's all good but if you are an HGV driver plan ahead as long waits aren't uncommon.

Items clearly separated. Staff helpful with advice. I had small number of electrical items and plastics and had short walk from bus when visiting the area. Walking away from HWRC a bit hazardous as no path by vehicle exit, hence only 4 stars.

Once you get to the house waste area, the different spaces are well organised and the staff is very helpful. The household area of the recycling centre is surprisingly clean. The only improvement would be clearer signage at the entrance.

Note that if you are disposing of plaster, plasterboard etc. If you say it was left behind by your builder or plasterer you will be asked to pay £100 ish. If you say it's your waste and you did the work it's free. Just saying....
