Taken my watch in today as it was in a pretty poor state needing a new glass and winder and crown.. It had been sat in a drawer for a good 15 years. On presenting the sorry thing I was told immediately what could be done how much it would be…both of which I was more than delighted with..but further to that it was done in under an hour and a half. Great experience by a team who know what they’re doing and treat us customers with respect. Thoroughly recommended..without hesitation.

I've been coming here for years and for good reason - They are brilliant! Their customer service and care they take when discussing things and fixing watches is second to none My parents had taken my fathers watch to a main jewellers more than five times and they still hadn't been able to fix it properly and it was still losing time. I suggested they use Tick King and my fathers watch was sent off for a full service and it's never lost time since. Would totally recommend this business based on excellent customer service, technical ability and going above and beyond to help. Took my watch in initially just for a new battery but then asked if they could also repair the bracelet as I had lost a link. They went to a lot of trouble to source a replacement - kept me informed of all updates and options throughout the whole process and repaired the bracelet - and then charged me the most reasonable amount for the repair!! Been going to them for years for all my watch needs for everything from a battery change on a cheap watch to full services on expensive (for me) watches I have no qualms about taking high end timepieces to them. Always keep me informed and don’t carry out work without checking with me, often completing minor adjustments free of charge, and of course it’s always good to talk watches and next purchases with someone who doesn’t glaze over as soon as I discuss movements and vintage vs new watches. I wish my car mechanic was this good and recommended them to everyone I know, they really are that good

The Casio Waveceptor WMV 630 is one of my favourite watches capable of showing the correct time around the world with little need for the wearer to touch it. It is waterproof and solar powered so never needs a new battery but its one flaw is that the watch glass isn't glass at all but a reasonably tough plastic which can get scratched. I tried several HIgh Street watch repairers before finding Tick King online. They were prompt with their reply that they could indeed change the glass for a reasonable price and were true to their word. My watch was returned with all its original packaging and they even included the old glass with its scratches to show that the switch had been made. Highly recommended.

Sent a vintage Timex moonphase for repair as the crown had snapped from the stem and it also needed a new battery. I sent a message via their website and received a phone call almost immediately to assess my needs. Was quoted a very good price. Went to Tick King to take some links out of my ORIS BC3 the other week and great service. Had to go back in today to get the bracelet loosened and they did it for free with no quibbles. Had a battery replaced last November when it was tested n passed 100m water resist test. Went swimming on hols n water got into the watch as face steamed up inside. Was horrified as I'm a watch nut n if was a rare ana digi movement. Lucas at the Nottingham Victoria Centre branch spent a week sorting the moisture, underlying problem with the leak n ensuring everything was as should be. Very surprised but pleased there was nothing to pay as all covered by the new battery installed guarantee from last year. Used this place several times and always feel very pleased to have done so.

I can't speak highly enough of these guys. When I dropped my Citizen Eco Drive on holiday and smashed the glass I expected that the repair cost would be astronomical and a few quotes supported that until a bit of Googling found Tick King who quoted me £35, about half of the previous lowest quote. I'm more than happy to look a gifthorse in the mouth so was somewhat sceptical, but not only did they do a superb job, they also stuck to the original quote (none of this "oh we found something else wrong so we're charging you more" that I see so often from online firms) but they also did it quickly and I couldn't be more delighted!

I have an old Rolex which had stopped working. I contacted a well known high street jeweller in Nottingham who told me the watch needed £3,000 worth of work. I decided to do some research and I emailed online quote forms to 6 jewellers. Tick King were the only business that telephoned me to explain the process and why I had been quoted £3,000. They suggested just changing the battery to see if that would get it working. Tick King followed up the conversation with an email.Tick King weren't the cheapest for a battery change but I could tell that they were passionate about what they do. When I took my watch in the work was carried out while I waited. The watch worked immediately. Colin showed me the inside of the watch which was pristine and did not need servicing. I highly recommend Tick King. They are very professional, honest and passionate about what they do.

Tick King were recommended to us by a friend (who is a jeweller in Nottingham). They repaired and refurbished my Rolex Pearlmaster. They ordered and replaced the glass as the original had been scratched and polished the bracelet etc, it looks like brand new again. They also pressure tested and ensured it’s 100% waterproof - with a print out from the test. Really excellent service from the guys! Would recommend.

I used this company after seeing reviews online and they made a fabulous job of renovating a gold chronograph watch that belonged to my husband's late father. I sent photographs, then posted it to them and spoke by phone. It turned out to be a much bigger job than I initially thought and due to the age of the watch and covid staffing in the workshop it took longer to return than initially estimated. However, it was well worth the wait as the watch is polished, works perfectly and my husband is thrilled with it. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and helpful and I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic service, we couldn’t find a leather watch strap that matched the quality they had on them when we purchased the watches, we have been looking for a year in various jewellers, without success. We found their web site and called them , Lucas ordered 2 for us and assured us they would be perfect, unfortunately we told him the wrong size , so they had to send them back and get the correct size and did so without quibbling at all. Alex & Lucas kept us to date with a phone call as to when they were being delivered etc. and fitted them to both watches for us ! Excellent ! Went into the Intu Centre looking for a new watch strap and battery replacement, another store within the centre quoted me £40 for these two fixes with over a 24h wait and another £39.95 on top of this if I wished to order a strap from the catalogue with a 3/4 week wait on this. After going upstairs to Tick King I was quoted £18.95 for the perfect strap and battery replacement with a free 1year warrenty. After 45 minutes my watch was ready to go and perfectly fixed. Will certainly return if I have any other problems!

The watch glass and face interior they cleaned for me made the watch interior look factory-new. * Quite reasonable charges for the thorough jobs done, which included resealing and pressure testing for both watches. * Proactive, friendly and informative phone communication.

Hi everyone, I must tell you all about Tick King . They are really great at repairing watches, no matter it seems how old the watch is they do their very very best to do a repair and watches come back looking like new. I have sent several watches to them including Sekonda, Seiko, Timex etc. (I collect watches! ) all have come back to me in pristine condition both mechanical and digital types of watch. Fantastic service by David and the team. We took my daughters beloved Michael Kors watch for repair as the glass face was cracked and the winder kept falling out. When I dropped my Seiko 013 and it stopped working my only thought was to go to Tick King hoping it might be cost effective to repair but still fearing the worst. Within an hour, whilst I finished my evening shopping, the watch had been assessed, repaired and returned to me in full working order. The charge for this outstanding service? Nothing - absolutely free! I've supported the guys since they opened and always enjoy an informed chat about the watches we own and the ones we wished we owned. They have been a great help in the past with a really difficult issue with a vintage automatic I bought for my girlfriend which they managed to fix and which works to this day without further issue. Brilliant staff and a first class service on my Omega watch. Though it took a while from start to finish the communication was excellent at every stage. I picked up the watch today 16/3/2019 and was truly gobsmacked at the quality of the returned watch as it was in such a tired state when it went away. today it looked fresh as the day it was purchased. Tick King have done an incredible job restoring my Tag watch. Somehow I managed to put a sizeable scratch in the casing only a few months after receiving it as a gift from my wife on our wedding day. The marks were so deep and visible that I really had no hope at all... I'm pleased to say that they managed to remove the scratches completely, and with a good polish all over, my watch now looks as good as new. My wife has even just about forgiven me!... I'd also like to point out that the gentleman serving me was very professional, courteous and polite. I felt very comfortable leaving my watch (which isn't cheap!) in their hands. Needed a new watch strap for my favourite watch. They told me they could get a hold of the original watch strap but it would take a little while, or I could choose from the selection they had on hand. My beloved Grandad wasn't a man of many treasures but he always had a nice pen and a nice watch. Every night before he went up to bed, he'd take his watch off, remove his pen and his loose change and leave them all by the clock in the lounge ready for the next day. On the day that his "next day" didn't arrive - I saved his pen and loose change, but his watch was given to someone. This, I know, was done in good spirit, but it was given to someone who didn't understand the importance. Didn't get the routine. Didn't get Grandad. Not like I did, and selfishly, I was devastated. Recently, I noticed said recipient wasn't wearing the watch any more and I didn't dare ask of its whereabouts for fear of the answer but, simply it had stopped working and he no longer wore it so I made a plea that if he ever decided he didn't want it, that it came my way. 16 and a half years after losing my Grandad - his watch was mine. I took it to a few places but nobody would touch it, that was until I visited the fantastic guys at Tick Kings. They appreciated and respected the sentiment and importance of the watch and spent hours creating a brand new movement for it, fitting it with a new strap, a battery and glass. Due to the age of the watch and the complexity of the new movement, it meant not having a changing day/date and so I requested Sun 6 which was mine and my hubby's wedding date and was also my Grandad's birthday. What makes this all even more special is, the Tick Kings stall used to be my late Father in Law's stall; Pendulum Records. I cannot thank the guys enough for taking such good care of the watch. After having my Panerai watch serviced at another company I decided to replace the strap myself... big mistake! I managed to damage two of the slotted pins that hold the strap. I took it to Tick King and Lucas rose to the challenge. Rather than order expensive replacements from Panerai, he ordered a special slot cutting tool at Tick Kings expense and risk and managed to repair and polish the original parts in a fraction of the time and expense that replacement parts would have cost. True problem solving and craftsmanship. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be taking my other watches to these guys for service and repair .

I recently took my late fathers watch to the store. It had been sitting in a draw for many a year.
