Best shop in the world, the staff are so helpful, knowledge and friendly. They have an amazing range, but my favorite is the lemonade, it's nicest drink ever put in a tin.

My first experience here was a bit unfortunate, but I gave it another go and it turned out to be a solid experience. I go here specifically for Yu-Gi-Oh events.
The first time I went, I used an old card for my cossy ID, which featured a name I've long discarded. That's on me, but I told the shopkeeper not to look at that, and not only did he do so, he introduced me to everyone with that name. My appearance, to say nothing else, did not befit it. The shopkeeper said they'd never do it again, but...it was already a one time, damaging, thing. I was essentially outed as trans to an entire group of people when I was passing perfectly fine before.
Now, benefit of the doubt, maybe he didn't hear it and was genuine. Went a second time.
The Yu-Gi-Oh events here are solid. The competition is pretty stellar all things considered, you have your usual nostalgia decks and hardcore competitors. I like the people a lot, they're a bit loud and rowdy but if you're coming to Wrexham for anything else, what's wrong with you? 🤣 The experienced players are great with helping each other with jank rulings and everything, all good fun. After that initial awkward moment, I think I can say this place is good, but I do think the staff may need to just...think a bit more.

Mark is an absolute Gent'.
Very helpful and kind towards my son.
Loved seeing my son so happy and awoken some memories for my self to enjoy.

I always make the effort to pop in here if I'm in the area, it's well worth taking time to park up, wander through the mobs on the highstreet and visit.
The shelves have a variety of stuff- tabletop RPGs, boardgames, wargames, CCGs and paraphernalia to support them all. Dice, card sleeves, minis, paints, supplement rulebooks ... It's all here.
This visit I was able to grab a copy of the now movie infamous D&D Owlbear which has been on my 'list' for a good while. Mega chuffed at that!
In a world of TikTok and Starbucks selfies we need more genuinely cool and stocked nerd oases like this.

Really great in dependant game and hobby shop. They have an eclectic mix of products and always happy to order in where possible. The staff aren't pushy or know-it-all, they have genuinely good knowledge of their field and aren't always gunning for a sale as they have regularly advised me on other places to consider for what I need. I only really buy airbrush paint there but they stock plenty of games, minis and other modelling products and have regular gaming days and evenings which seem pretty inclusive and welcoming.

This is a great shop and an example how a local game shop should be run. The owner is fantastic with real knowledge and customer skills and the range and prices are impressive. This is how a local gaming shop should be run with a clear passion for the games on sale. It is the kind of shop that makes you happy that you are supporting local business.

The owner is very helpful, when I wanted to start playing Magic The Gathering, he helped me choose what to get, showed me how to play, and he runs a games night every Wednesday and a Magic night every Friday. If you're looking for any kind of game, this shop comes highly recommended!

It's shops like this that give a town its charm and character. This is strictly for enthusiasts in everything imaginative and die based, role playing, board games. Whether you be a twelfth Level Wizard or a lowly, mud dwelling orc. Everyone is welcome and a dwarf, planet full of expert advice and opinion, is yours if you desire. Hobbyists and Model painters are also catered for. It's a laid back atmosphere and well worth a visit. Throw away your virtual reality headsets and settle down to explore your own imagination.

Today i went to watch a game of 40k. I was happy to find that everyone there was really friendly. I have visited the store before and Mark ( the shop keeper also really friendly, informative and helpful) informed me of the diffrent games thy supply for and opened my eyes to games i had never heard of. Mark also gave me details of the local community of table top gamer's and informed me about games days/nights. Over all a highly enjoyable experiance.
