My son and I had a lovely time choosing gifts for his girlfriend in store yesterday, Dans help was invaluable as we needed products for sensitive skin. He guided us through our choices, his product knowledge was comprehensive. Would recommend him if you need help, really nice guy.

Today I was served by Tori and she was brilliant!! I was looking for something specific and she was so helpful and full of information about Lush products. She engaged with my son also and showed him how the ‘cow’ bath bomb looked when in water. As a parent, I really value this communication as my son has speech delay and gets over stimulated in shops which causes lots of stress. Yesterday I tock my two children ( with friends also) for A 45 minute party experience workshop. It was fantastic! Excellent value for money. The children enjoyed making cow bath bombs, tasting edible lip scrubs, moulding animal shapes and learning what makes a bath bomb work! The staff were just amazing, particularly our host. We all left with smiles on our faces. Immersive interactive fun for all the children from age 4-11. Thank you! :-)

I wanted to smell the Let The Good Times Roll body spray before purchasing because I love the scent of the face scrub but wasn’t sure it would translate the same in a spray - Holly from the Colchester store was mega lovely when showing me where it was located and I appreciated how she indicated other scents that smelled similar without being too pushy about trying to convince me to buy something else. My daughter celebrated her 8th birthday with four friends and her sister at Lush Colchester and it was fantastic. The girls had so much fun playing games, looking at and testing the products, smelling perfumes and making bath bombs. Jess and Dan were amazing hosts; fun, friendly and they kept the girls completely entertained and engaged! We met Dan at my daughter’s pre-party session (where she got to choose the product they made and the gift she and her friends got to take home) and she thought he was fun, so she was really pleased he was doing her party! Our 3 year old son Aubrey has just discovered the joy of the bath bomb so we took him into Lush armed with some birthday funds in order for him to choose a couple for himself. Just looking through the window blew his tiny mind and he was mesmerised by all the vibrant colours and displays. His excitement caught the attention of the so incredibly wonderful Cass who went above and beyond to make his shopping trip such a memorable pleasure. She took the time to chat about all the different scents and colours and even did a bath bomb demo. Danielle always makes excellent recommendations for sensitive skin and outdoor working hands! Went in to grab some bath bombs after having not visited for months & very happy with the experience. It was clean, distanced, and the updated store front made it easy to get what I was looking for without having to come into close contact. The assistant was very helpful, and they had a hand washing station open too, which is a nice change to the hand sanitizers in most stores at the moment.

Can never say a bad word about lush stores. I always find the staff so lovely and honestly Colchester my local one is always so inviting and wonderful I adore going in. I always feel like I can approach the staff for any questions and I always like to ask about the new products.

Fully wheelchair accessible despite being a small shop. The staff are always on hand to offer advice and information on the large choice of toiletries, make up and personal care products. All the staff are knowledgeable and passionate and are happy to give demonstrations. The products are all natural, not tested on animals and as earth friendly/recyclable as possible. They have little stickers on them to show who has made them. The products may appear a little expensive but I feel it's worth paying the extra for the great quality and the knowledge that they are ecologically friendly.

Dear all, As I was strolling through town today I smelt an irresistible fragrant aroma wafting towards me. I just had to explore the amazing shop that housed this tempting scent: Lush! As I entered I was greeted by the most delightful staff who were happy to help me with every need. One especially elegant woman offered to demonstrate a new product on my hand. It felt like heaven on a bar of soap. Exfoliating, fragrant, textured, moisturizing and soothing shower bar scented with bakewell tart called argan dragon. All in all an amazing experience. A very fragrant, expensive shop, full of personal care products made with natural ingredients. This isn't a perfume shop, it describes itself as a cosmetics shop. Whatever, it's not for men, though it's a good place to buy gifts for the women in your life. Shop assistants are friendly and solicitous - as they should be at those prices. My wife has had a few things from there and rates them highly.
