I have been a customer of The Beauty Stop by Julie for the last 8 years & will continue to be; I have complete trust in Julie & the vegan-friendly products she uses on my nails, plus her nail designs are stunning! There hasn't been a single set I haven't loved & I also get compliments from friends & colleagues about them too. I missed my me time during lockdown & have felt totally safe since returning thanks to Julie's attention to hygiene. I cannot recommend this place enough x

Such a lovely experience every time. I regularly have my nails done and waxing, and every time I am really happy with the treatments received, and Julie is so friendly and welcoming. I also feel so safe with all of her covid protocols as well. Would highly recommend.

Always love the friendly service and nice relaxing room they have, the waxing is great and feels fab afterwards. Had a few many service from Julie and never had bad service or being unhappy with any treatment from her. Have my nails done for holiday always love the style free draw patterns and colours ❤️🥰❤️

I visit Julie for my intimate waxing plus brow wax and tint and weirdly it’s usually a fun experience because we laugh and chatter, she’s a master of distracting you from the wax hurt! She recently started using a new brand of wax which actually makes it less painful. She’s also done gel polish before and has a fab range of colours 👍❤️

I've been having my nails done by Julie for 3 years. I cannot recommend her enough. I leave feeling happy and she always recommends designs for me as she knows how I can't decide on a colour. I get them done every 2 to 3 weeks. If one has ever chipped or broke she's always got me to go back at my earliest convenience and repaired and sorted it out for me. Julie is the best nail technician in Hull and is always professional in what she does! Thank you for all of my amazing nails.

Went for a gel manicure several times. Great range of colours available and Julie is easy to chat with. Received a fabulous service the first few times - job done beautifully, with precision and yet efficiently; gel manicure lasted 2-3 weeks. Service then deteriorated - some other client was fitted in at my appointment time first thing in the morning, and I was sent away to wait outside for over half an hour. For the privilege, I also had to additional parking fees, in an area with few and expensive on-road spaces. Went back one more time after that. Gel manicure felt rushed and polish started to chip within 2-3 days. Feeling like I was classed as a customer of lesser importance, I didn't go back. (And gladly so - there was also a price hike of 33% for the same service not long after my last gel manicure.)

I’ve been having regular massages with Julie and it’s rwally helped issues with my back. I’ve also used waxing services and really happy with the end result. The treatments rooms are always clean and welcoming. Highly professional and would recommend.
