I only came in for one thing and I left with 3! I was greeted with Amazing service and help from Ines, who was extremely Knowledgable, polite and gave great advice on how to use products and which ones were better for my skin. Amazing service can't wait to shop here again!

🏆TOP TIP: They have a year long return policy - so you can test and then return items if needed. Everyone already knows The Ordinary/Deciem skincare range has a huge following and is excellent quality and reasonably priced. With strict Covid-19 rules in place there was a small queue but it made the shopping experience even better because there was space to select items and ask for advice. I love the range. The squalane cleanser reminds me of EveLom somehow, and the serums are amazing. I now have a full regime and already my skin feels great. Thank you Camille, the lovely Scottish chica that helped me decide what to purchase.

Yesterday I visited The Ordinary as I wanted try their products to see if it will help my skin concerns. One thing for sure is that they are really busy and packed as it is a small store. Putting that aside, I can say for definite is that they are extremely helpful. Shout out to Laura an amazing staff member who really took the time to listen and understand what I needed. As I was really confused as to what I should buy or needed, as I have seen many reviews about many of their products. Thanks to Laura I told her almost everything about what my skin concerns are to what products I used. She really amazed me in the way she was explaining and gave real thought to how she thought my skin would feel as if I were to use the products. She also suggested other products by other brands that I should swap out for. From what I was already using. I personally think when it comes to this sort of thing "like when you go shopping, you are your sometimes approached by people that try sell you everything from their collection just to make sales - which is understandable". But to see that she wasn't like that, really does make me happy as a customer as she really cared about my needs and didn't just hand me anything saying it will work. Overall I was really pleased and give her customer service a 10 on 10.

The other day i went to this store and the girl with curly hair was extremely rude. She was wearing offensive make up and instead of removing it she told me to come back after 30 minutes to get a refund. I believe the manager of the shift asian lady heard this and came to sort out my refund. She was super nice and listened to me and apologised which was completely opposite of the other staff member. You should have a disciplinary meeting with that staff member as the service I received was completely unprofessional. I am just setting this review as 4 stars because of the good products and customer service of other team members.

I visited The Ordinary store in Covent Garden on Sunday 16.8.2020. Everything was in stock (at least of the products I was looking for) The Store abide by all the social distancing rules (4 people allowed in at once) the provided both hand sanitizer and masks by the door. The Covent Garden store is always a pleasure to visit, but the highlight of my visit this time was one of the sales assistant. I have no idea what her name was, she had silver braids and was super nice and genuine. (Hope you see this!) and if anyone is visiting the store ask her for help she's great!

My friend and I visited the Covent garden store on Sunday in November and was lucky that there wasn't a queue to get it. We did have to wait for an assistant to be free, but the wait wasn't long. The gentleman that served us was friendly and knowleable about the ordinary products and colour matched my skin for the serum foundation. This foundation is light, natural looking and blurs my pores so I can't notice them. This foundation stays matt ALL DAY, which is perfect for me as I get an oily t-zone. The prices are unbelievable and even better with the November discount. Yes there were security guards at this store and they were friendly and helpful. There was a queue outside when we left the shop. We both left very happy with our purchases and the knowledge of how to use our new products. I highly recommend the ordinary and they don't test on animals.

I wanted to buy some light foundation from The Ordinary so looked up this shop whilst I was in London. The shop itself is very small which made it tricky trying to browse the products. I asked a shop assistant who was happy to help me however the lighting in the shop was really bad so it was impossible to tell whether the colour I was being recommended actually suited me. I was matched with a yellow based foundation (I'm usually pink based), I went ahead with the purchase but I think better lighting would make buying make up a more enjoyable experience.

I have been to this store twice and I am really happy with the customer experience I have had. The staff is very polite and helpful. Ruth - the lady who provided me with some very useful advice when I visited the store yesterday is a breath of fresh air, she is very kind and is very knowledgeable. I was so impressed as she went through the products I had put in my basket and actually did not oversell me any products. The store was not that busy when I went on a Monday evening. I was stood there for a good 15 to 20 minutes looking lost as hell whilst staring the products in there. Not one staff member approached me! In fact, I felt very unwelcomed. I have heard great things about ordinary as a product in itself but the store itself wasn’t something I would recommend. Especially for a Covent Garden store, I feel the staff definitely need a bit more training in there in making customers feel welcomed or in understanding customer needs. Finally, they weren’t even stocked with one of the creams and wouldn’t be stocked up until a week later. You couldn’t even order in the cream for a next day. This should hopefully be a service in the future

Went there during my trip to London to get the new Ordinary products. Loved the vibe of the store, the staff was pretty helpful and nice. Over last few months, I switched my whole face care to the ordinary and its been fantastic - my skin has never looked better - my problematic, mixed skin it's visibly smoother, under eye bags less visible, nourished and can't see the wrinkles around my eyes anymore. I love The Ordinary, it's budget friendly and great for my skin. I tend to buy online because I know the products I want and just like to stock up. However, as I wanted to switch to their foundation I thought I'd pop into the shop and get colour matched. The member of staff that helped me was great, she helped me pick the right colours and I was able to pick up my regular items too. The shop is small so it is ideal if you go in knowing which products you want. However, I saw the other members of staff happily helping people design a routine etc. The main item I want has been out of stock each time I have been which is unfortunate. But I'll try to visit the store instead of purchasing online if I can help it in the future.

I dont usually go into stores to get products as I sometimes feel a bit pressured but as I was in the area I decided check it out and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff were. Ladies & Genlemen lest talk about Jess at Covent Garden ! I am sure that most of you reading comments and reviews about Deciem and its products, you are more or less aware of the excellent quality and the amazing effectiveness. I discovered Niod and Ordinary a couple of years ago, firstly ordered them online and since then I haven't used any other product on my skin! #promise. The last couple of times, I was in London, so it was very convenient to go there and buy my "skin saviors", instead of ordering them online. The reason I felt the need to write a review though is because of Jess. Jess is a girl working at the Covent Garden Deciem store. SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE STAR ASSET not only of the shop but of the brand as a whole! I would really need a couple of pages to wirte down all her excellent qualities. Amazing client service, great knowledge of the products one by one, meticulous explanation of each product and how each one can be combined with the other… She knew exactly what to suggest, which product is the best for our skins’ needs. Always with a bright smile on her face, extremely polite and so professional! I am working in the tourism industry and the impeccable service and commitment such as Jess’s always impresses me and I appreciate it very much. Jess is one of these cases that you feel she deserves a huge promotion but you hope she will stay at the shop, so as to be available for you, next time you are there KUDOS to Deciem for having and training people like Jess and you make us coming back again and again!! #amajessgroupie

After trying one face product by The Ordinary & was super impressed, I then discovered the store in Covent Garden - a little late to the party here, but really pleased I’ve found it. Whilst in the store I was helped by one of their staff called Ines, a really sweet Portuguese girl; She was very knowledgable and clearly educated on the products but in no way was she at all over sales like nor was she pushy, just a super professional yet clean laid back approach which clearly worked as I became even more interested during my time in the store and purchased some Niod products which are according to reports an upgraded product on The Ordinary, being all part of the same company. I’ve been using the products Ines suggested only a couple of days and they suit my skin so well. Thank you Ines, you are a credit to company and I’ll be back soon to pick up more, hopefully you’ll be there again when I head back in. I highly recommend asking for Ines as she really knows the products well and instinctively what customers are individually looking for.

The saleswoman has been lovely and really helpful, showing a deep knowledge about the products and answering all my questions. This place sells Ordinary brand products. Products that use quality ingredients without the huge mark up usually connected to a big brand. I had a few friends that swear by the products so I figured I would give it a try. The risk wasnt as big as a department store brand because the products come at about a quarter of the price. I arrived at about 4pm on a saturday, there was a line, a security guard and about a 5 min wait to get in. Once in I realised why. While there was space to move it was still busy. Most people knew what they wanted, got their products and got out. There was about 10 of any product on the shelf at a time. It made the shop look neat and exclusive. Downstairs they have a pretty extensive warehouse type set up, continually replenishing the shelves. The staff are quite knowledgeable about the products and there didn't seem to be any hard sell, I guess it's not needed with a line of people outside waiting to get in. All in all a good experience.

Having bought a couple of The Ordinary products online, I chose to visit the store in Covent Garden - yes it is small and can get crowded but that didn't bother me at all. The set up is so simple, products displayed on one wall - straightforward and you can see everything. It is also labelled very well, and the prices are amazing! You would not be broke even if you bought everything from their range. I cannot thank the colleagues enough for the advice given and answering all of my questions - you can phone in and ask for advise and they are as enthusiastic in helping you establish a skin care routine as they are in person. I visited last week and was happy with the customer service here and the products are amazing. I did my homework before coming to the shop since the products are more complex than your typical skincare ones, but I'm so glad I came in bc the person who helped me said I actually needed a different product (they don't upsell here, so you can trust them). Keep in mind it is a small shop and can be busy, so just be patient and wait for someone to be available! My skin hasnt looked so good in years and I've only been using the serums for a week. Deciem is the best budget skincare brand. I got a whopping 240ml of their glycolic acid toner for less than 7 quid?? The store is a bit small but security lets people in slowly so it's not too crowded. There might be a line though, but in my opinion it's worth waiting.

I highly recommend this place especially if you can get help from MICHELLE, I have to name her because her customer service, rapport and knowledge is exceptional! Ordinary you need to promote her to management (if she isn’t one already)... and I think she should train other staff members as I feel she leads by a high standard that ALOT of people can learn from. This is a busy little store in the heart of Covent Garden. The staff are friendly but it was soooo busy on a saturday afternoon that it was difficult to manouvre around the store and see what was on offer. It would have been better to have a queuing system to avoid overcrowding. I didn't end up purchasing anything but would go back if the store were quieter.

Well known brand. Some good stuff, but would avoid going there after 18:30 on the weekdays. The que was outside due to a very limited space inside the store. Weekend is less busy ,went on Saturday morning, however had to still wait to pay for about 10-12 min. So if you want a consultation with store advisor's undevided attention, try avoid peak hours.

Small and busy shop. My sister asked me to buy some stuff for her and it's so busy, it's as though you have to queue to get near the products. The shop is divided into two - standard products and posher ones. You can pay at either side but the woman who served me in the posh side was a bit snooty and unfriendly. It's put me off from returning.
