I have bought various items from Pak's and each time I've received excellent customer service from the staff. They have all the latest items and there is always someone on hand to assist you.

In the many years that I have been a customer, I have never seen this shop employ any women of colour. Considering that the target clientele is black women, this is Very disappointing. Surely as a customer you would want to be advised by someone with an understanding of your needs and who can give credible suggestions. I find that the staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming and I have witnessed employees having conversations whilst serving. I am sure the discussion could be held after the customer has left the store. Whilst they do offer a wide range of products, skin/ hair care, hair tools and make up, I prefer to spend my money at other beauty supplies.

This is the ultimate super store for Black products. I mean they have absolutely everything. I spent half an hour deciding what pomade to get. I eventually bought more than one. They had stuff for a Jerry curl! Several exotic oils, barber tools, you name it. Unbelievable selection. Reasonable prices.

Paks hair stores are quite large and you can usually always find what you want under one roof. The Ayumi Repair Oil is lovely for hair growth and thickening, especially when teamed up with some natural Shea butter....Paks has been around for a long time, and have become quite expensive (pricier than the avergae hair shop) and in London the streets are not short of a hair shop, so I do think it's worth it to shop around if you are on a stricter budget.

Almost every commercial low cost or mid range beauty product is sold here. From hair products to hair pieces... From soaps and creams to mirrors and scissors... From Barber shop supplies to hairdressers kits!! But beware of products that are easy to open. Many have a recommended shelf life of 12 months after opening and as you often see people opening to see and smell, the products could be technically past it by the time they are purchased! Especially true of oils. Where possible, go for those sealed or you could end up with an already rancid product. Really dislike all the skin bleaching products and what they promote... But that's a different topic. Overall, brilliant group of stores for most off-the-shelf beauty supplies.

Such an essential place to get good quality hair products, when places like boots and superdrug (plus others) know that black hair is the minority so they increase the price 10fold, I get what people saying about being followed but its their job to protect their stock.

Some very good deals there. My personal favourite is the caffeine shampoo with 1.99£ and the aloe Vera deals £3.49. You will need to be careful though as some other products are more expensive than high street supermarkets

Awful customer service. Very unhelpful. A parcel worth £70 went missing and Pak wouldn’t d resend The items. I had to pay again as I desperately needed hair for a client. A month later I still haven’t had a refund. Eventually I did get my refund but I did need to call many times and thankfully spoke to a helpful guy- possibly the manager and he refunded me

I went in having no idea what I needed and the man (didn't catch his name) was so helpful! He went through the wigs, half wigs and extensions with me, helped me pick which would work best and colour matched me. So so pleased and will definitely be going back

One negative point: as the place is huge and packed with several products for the same purpose, you would expect the staff to help and advise you in your choice... unfortunately, none of the staff member will help you, so make up your mind first and then come visit the store!

Every and anything to do with hair is here in paks this one in stroud green road is my favorite right now they have a few shops on the strip one for extensions one for wigs,cosmetics ...wicked! Customer service is ok too...check them out...parking is a breeze too.

Parking fee paid online or by phone and charge levied in addition to very expensive parking fee. Get the bus or the train.

Bought Bounce Curl, Alikay lemongrass leave-in. Mane Choice crystal orchid biotin gel and the Mane Choice 3 in 1 soft as can be leave. Prices are great but SERVICE is AWFUL. Bounce Curl isn't online. Nightmare trying to call to find out which store has what as no one picks up.
