C. H.I booked a covid lateral flow test online, for an In store test. It was the cheapest I could find instore at £30. The guy that done it was friendly and my appointment was on time and he emailed me the result 20 minutes later. Very impressed as it was stressfree and no waiting hours for results like other venues friends have used

P.i went to boots to buy makeup, and since i had never bought makeup before i didn't know where to start? annabelle with a lot of patience, professionalism and also a lot of knowledge; because having the vitiligene it is not easy to find a concealer suitable for me she showed me all the eyeshadows they had and the mascaras and blushes, she helped me find the most suitable ones for me. I am delighted if I can give you some advice when you need some help you can ask annabelle

M. F.It's a really good large, no nonsense boots. The dispensary is large and efficient, and the shop carries loads of great products with a particularly large perfumery. My wife says the staff on the cosmetics counters are always especially helpful and I always enjoy my shopping trips here.
M. C.Good store but the pharmacy is a nightmare. They take ages to process prescriptions and no one answers the phone (including general enquiries). This store needs to hire someone to answer the phones for them.

It has a lot to offer. The first floor has cosmetics, drugs, food and a pharmacy.
The second floor has clothes, toys, gifts, an opticians and baby stuff.
The third floor has a walk in centre in case you need medical help.
Always found it really good here and they update the selection of items on a regular basis. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I used the boots online app to make a passport photo which I printed.
It cost me 42p to print my passport photos which I thought would have cost more.

After I paid I noticed there was no carrier bags nearby to put my goods in. I had to shout a member of staff to ask her did they have any bags. She kindly handed one over to me.

M.Always carefully check what they actually give you when you pick up your prescriptions - they sometimes give it you wrong ie they should should have given you 3 packs of X - 3 packs of Y and 3 packs of Z but you can sometimes get 3 packs of X - 2 packs of Y and 4 packs of Z - they are all very nice people but so busy and stressed they do get it wrong - problem is they skim the checks - as long as there are the right number of boxes of pills in the bags is 3x 3 (9) they don't actually check the boxes in detail against the prescription - also its never their fault - they never admit they may have made a mistake - very defensive when you come back to them with an extra pack of pills you shouldn't have!!

Not a big fan of the meal deals and feel like the selection in body scrubs and soaps could be better, but no big deal since that's not their main business anyway.

The staff are really nice and friendly and when we were paying they made sure that we got the cheapest item for free on each one. Scott was very very helpful and the manager kept talking to all customers making sure they were getting their needs attended to. The whole experience if eye tests to glasses was very painless and made you feel good, especially when glasses are so expensive. L. H.Boots is expensive. However, there is always lots of deals even on the high end products. In the larger stores there is a huge choice. The Advantage card is worth getting and using as you get extra discounts and vouchers. Meal deals are good in a rush for lunch

Grooming kits for men was the purpose of my visit. Like all major outlets in the city its just too busy with bustling crowds, having to queue for self service check outs ! That said it would be a major loss if it wasnt there.

N. C.I just wanted to say thank you to all your team and one of your pharmacists. I’m sorry, but I cannot recall the name of his cause at the time I was in the pharmacy I was in so much stress. Even though he had introduced himself, only thing I remember he looked very smart, was wearing long beard and grey shirts.
At the time I came to your pharmacy, I thought no one in the world will help. For more than a week, I had cold. It’s nothing very serious, but when it’s with you for such a long time, it can be very stressful. However as it’s just a small illness, GP did not help me, someone from Lloyds Pharmacy did not help me too as she/he thought I had lung infection so send me to Walk-In-Centre. Walk-In-Centre did not help me again. Yes, all day long no one helped me. And on top of all I was working. After Walk-In-Centre staff did not help me, I went into tears. And I don’t know. I work so hard, I never sick and this cold happened to me and no one helps me. I felt so down….. I don’t know. I just needed to talk to someone at that moment. So it happened I came to your pharmacy. Asked if I can speak with one of your pharmacist in private. And yes, he took me to consultation room immediately. I told him my little story. And yeah, he calmed me down, gave me some paracetamol and cough relief medicine. And today, I still have cough, but feeling much much better! I can feel this silly cough going away! And I know this is helping me a lot. Thank you so much. You are life savers!

I went to boots to buy protection. As a virgin I asked for some assistance.
I asked if I should be using the extra thick condoms. The man behind the counter say "nah mate, try this" and then reached down and pulled up and empty packet of walkers cheese and onion crisps.
"Use that" he said.
I was a bit taken back, whilst inexperience I didn't remember learning this in sex ed.
I called my mum to ask for advice. She said it should be fine.
I then paid the 60p. Only reason didn't score 5 is I could have brought a full packet for the same price and eaten the crisps.

L.Some of the staff are nice but you mess up my prescription 2 out 3 times. Many of your customers come from the doctors upstairs and the complete lack of communication/organisation that seems to be taking place is not helpful. Please under stand that going to the pharmacy for the 3rd time after a week of mri scans and appointments and finding that still nobody knows where your presciption is (even though both a doctor and a pharmacist said it would be ready days ago) is extremely stressful to someone with other health problems. People are coming to you for a reason and 'it's not in our control' just isn't good enough.

O. N.I went to Boots today for a free hearing check up. I had to wait a bit past my scheduled appointment time but the audiologist who saw me was very apologetic and friendly. I've never had a hearing test before so the audiologist explained every step clearly and showed me all the results in a way that made sense. I'd have no hesitation recommending Boots' hearing care to anyone.

Time and again they prove that they really care about their customers and try hard not only to deal with current needs but give good advice on action to take to improving lifestyles in general ~ all of which is much appreciated!
K. C.Its not just a poky little chemist, its got everything, in fact its probably the biggest boots in the whole of the north west spanning over two floors. It has a walk-in health advice clinic, an optician, and everything for hair and beauty, lifestyle and food, etc. There are sections for pregnancy, mother & baby, and everybody of all ages. There's everything for the beach when its hot or cold remedies for the winter. There's also a great gift range to suit every budget and taste. And it has a great perfume section. Its right in the heart of Manchester, being just at the bottom of Market Street and has late opening times EVERY day inc. weekends.

It has a pharmacy, NHS Walk-in Centre, optometrist and sells you a wide range of products from the usual health care items, to personal grooming, to baby/child care stuff and it's not big secret, but it's also great for buying Christmas presents! I'm here usually once a month to top up on items!

Lift and escalators installed. Large cosmetics and perfume section. Easy access for disabled customers. You can also gain access to the Arndale centre from the upper floor.

The problem they have is that the Arndale centre is over the way and this centre has a great variety of interesting stores with higher quality products.
S. Z.This is a well placed massive store that links directly to the first floor of the Arndale Centre. However, with cheaper prices online would I actually dedicate myself to shopping here provided there is also a nearby Bodyshop store? Maybe not. Perhaps to get some formula milk etc. but not to buy and health and beauty stuff or electrical goods.
However, the staff are nice and the stock levels are always good.

P. L.A very good branch of Boots. This is a huge shop, split over two floors, and it has pretty much everything you could want from such a shop - including an opticians (with hearing clinic) and an NHS walk-in centre. The ground floor has all of the usual cosmetics, toiletries and pharmacy sections, and upstairs has the opticians etc. plus gifts, a "sun shop" in the summer months, and photography departments.

T. H.This place is very misleading, If you are looking for footware then it's not the place for you. Saying that they have a good supply of toiletries, gifts, specs etc. You know what you are getting generally.

C. J.This boots is spread across 2 floors and consists of a huge cosmetics area including brands such as NYX, No7, Clarins, Clinique and more. As well as a vast makeup section there is a large selection of food for meal deals, bathroom essentials, first aid, a pharmacy, baby wear and children's wear, as well as prams. The only downside to this store is that to access it in a wheelchair wouldn't be very straight forward. It would have to be accessed through Manchester Arndale and the lifts inside.
D. R.This is a big store with plenty of staff. Sadly they're mainly on the perfume counters. Need anything general from the store and you'll have to beg for a member of staff!
