I purchased the sandalwood and vanilla moisturising lotion this week, and after only two uses it has completely changed my skin. It is light so it absorbs quickly and does not feel greasy. Plus the fragrance is SO GOOD I think this might be my new favourite

It was one to one guidance on making several different types of product and there was a lot of information about the ingredients and the processes. I came away with some lovely products and a great deal of knowledge. I would highly recommend!

Exceptional find! We were here with extended family and the 4 teenagers did the 2 hour soap workshop which was well worth it! They made great products and had fun! I’ve been looking for shampoo soap bars too and none have lived up until I tried his. The owner is kind, has great craftsmanship and lovely products!

Lovely little shop tucked away in the Covered Market. Loveliest owner who told us all about his shed/shack/hut where he makes all of his own soaps. They're wrapped and packed nicely for gifting with a tag that gifts details about the soaps. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces on that cold afternoon :)

Such a wonderful place to get lovely soaps. I could spend an afternoon here. In fact I had only 5 minutes, but the kindly proprietor was wonderfully tolerant of my over hasty buying at lunchtime, when I was dashing to classes! I bought so many products, all gift wrapped and ready for Christmas. I really recommend these soaps and other products - an ecological shampoo bar they do is really effective and means no plastic bottles. I am so glad to see an indie shop like this in the Covered Market.

I can not recommend you highly enough (and frequently do to friends and anyone who will listen). We use your soaps constantly at home and I notice a difference in how much hand cream I need to use when not using it as frequently (ie like when we were on holiday recently!). I order from the website regularly and have always had a prompt and efficient service, and as someone who orders a lot, the occasional surprise treat from the team. Wow. Amazing products. Particularly loving the shampoo bars. My hair now feels and looks really clean all day long and there seems to be much more of a natural balance. You definitely don't get that chemically stripped feeling of normal shampoos! Highly recommended.

I love the lemon shampoo bar - it’s so refreshing and uplifting a scent. I was sceptical at first but gave it a try to do my bit for plastic waste reduction and there is no turning back! Such a fantastic lather and my hair feels squeaky clean. My five year old son can vouch for your hand soaps. He noticed how much better it was at making bubbles than our old kind and we all have noticed how they don’t leave our hands feeling so dry. I normally have quite dry skin but no longer feel the desperate need to slather on the moisturiser straight from the shower as the English Melissa soap doesn’t leave my skin with that tight, dry feeling. I even wash my face with it as it’s so gentle.

The soap making workshop was excellent. Ervin shared his wealth of knowledge on soap, the use of skin care products and their production. The hands on approach made the experience interesting and fun. I’m very proud of the soap, hand cream and foot scrub that I made. There is a huge selection of ingredients to choose from. We were celebrating a birthday but I recommend this experience just for the pleasure it gave. Thank you Ervin and I hope your business continues to be a success.

These soaps are fantastic, they last and keep well. I tried another highly regarded brand of shampoo soap and it left my hair greasy and tangled, I never had this problem with the shampoo soap from Oxford Soap Company. I am very sorry I strayed. I use the Melissa soap all the time and it has really helped my skin.

Great place, products work really well in Oxford's hard water. Have switched to a safety razor and shaving soap to try and minimise my use of plastic. Their shaving soap works so much better than other options I've previously purchased online, great lather and a little soap goes a long way so will hopefully last a long time.

This is one of those gems you find unexpectedly and determine to always use. The scent in the shop unequivocally informs how good the products are; their soaps and creams smell like absolute heaven and the gifts we gave at Christmas delighted the grateful recipients. I'm trying to minimise my use of plastic so I decided to buy couple of Oxford Soap Company's shampoo bars. I totally fell in love with them! You can't buy anything better on the market! Great little find. I’m a big supporter of small local businesses and finding this gem was amazing. I bought a lavender night cream and I am very pleased with it. Very lightweight yet very moisturising. And the smell is sublime! Cannot wait to go back and get other goods
