Finding a decent therapist is often difficult, as well as very, very personal. Through a search on PsychologyToday, I came across Sarah Bishop's practice and had an initial phone consultation with her. I knew there and then that she would be the right person to talk to. I subsequently made some appointments with Sarah, during which we discussed some issues I had been having in life. She did a wonderful job in unpacking these issues, and most importantly, why I felt the way I did. My life has improved immeasurably since I started seeing her, and when I do have issues, I now find them much easier to deal with than I did before. Thank you so much, Sarah - you have made much more of a difference than you will ever realise.

Dr Bishop offered real insight and enabled me to explore my thoughts in a safe and secure space. She listened attentively and helped me to understand and value my feelings. After my sessions I feel much more able to understand my thought patterns and responses. Thankyou Sarah.

I strongly believe that listening saves lives and Dr Sarah Bishop is the kind of person who truly lets you feel heard when you're speaking. Her warm nature makes talking about difficult subjects far more bearable and how attentive she is lets you know that you are worthy of reaching out for support. Sarah was no doubt the reason I first felt comfortable enough to reach out for professional help, and my life has changed drastically for the better ever since. I highly recommend her to anyone

I have had a difficult time this year from loosing all of my hair to alopecia. I have struggled to go back to work and have sought treatment through therapy with Sarah Bishop. Sarah has always made me feel like my emotions and reactions towards what has happened are valid. Sarah provides a safe environment for thoughts and feelings to be discussed when you least want to address them. This in my opinion is key in therapy as I have had previous bad experiences with therapists before. I would recommend Sarah to anyone who is struggling through life’s low points as she has definitely helped me through mine.
Thank you Dr Bishop

I am a retired Birmingham GP and one of our greatest professional problems was finding good, well qualified clinical psychologists to handle the plethora of modern-day psychological conditions and illnesses . I consulted Dr Sarah Bishop with a couple of appropriate referrals and her advice has been professional, and very helpful. I thoroughly recommend Dr Sarah.
