I decided recently to book my annual Holiday and as I have done before used the services of Matt Morgan at Travel Counsellors. Giving Matt about 10 days’ notice I asked him to investigate a Mini break which he had already successfully arranged for earlier this year. Even though apart from the dates I gave very little detail of what I was looking for Matt obliged very quickly with a selection of different options. However instead of asking me which I wanted he said if I did not like any of them, I was not under any obligation to pick any of them and he can look for other options. Thanks to this lack pressure it gave me time to really think what I wanted and with that encouragement I then gave Matt a very detailed request of my desire to revisit certain section of the North Coast 500 again staying longer in certain places and working my way down the West Coast of Scotland. Within minutes of my request Matt replied with a full plan and route even with suggestions of different options to make my journey more interesting. Even when I asked for it to be tweaked to fit in with my schedule Matt said no problem and did exactly what I had requested. The total time taken out of my day speaking to Matt must have not even been 10 minutes but in that time I booked a Road Trip taking in Inverness, Gairloch, Skye, Mallaig Fort William and finishing with two nights Oban at a busy time in Scotland as its coming into the Midge Free Season when all the Hotels were fully Booked. My Holiday started at the 1st Conversation with Matt. This is the 3rd time I have used Travel Counsellors and will be using the for the 4th time next year or even the coming months Don’t Just book it “Matt Morgan it “

Matt was introduced to me by a friend whilst considering my options for our honeymoon. From literally the first phone call we couldn’t have been any more impressed. Nearly two years of chaos ensued caused by the pandemic. Matt worked incredibly hard to keep us informed, up to date and well planned. Eventually we were able to get away this November to California and Las Vegas. The itinerary, hotels and activity advice Matt provided was flawless. He’d truly thought of everything! As well as just being an incredible human being, Matt is without doubt an exceptional Travel Consultant. We’ve struck up a true friendship and I wouldn’t use anyone else to plan my travel. If you are considering using an agent and want to work with the best. Work with Matt.

As the person who spends hours on end researching holiday destinations and trying to figure out where to go at what time of the year and pouring over every trip advisor review for numerous hotels, to hand this all over to Matt was such a relief. He advised on the best destinations for the tune of year and listened to the sort of holiday and resort we wanted. He took over and provided me with 3 quotes for different resorts. All the resorts looked lovely and the one we selected on Matt’s advice was fabulous. After selecting the hotel I had no further involvement. Matt checked us in and I received all the documents through the post in a little wallet. Matt also arranged the fast pass at Manchester Airport meaning check in was stress free. Thank you Matt for recommending and organising the most amazing holiday. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Matt to anyone who wants a stress-free holiday.

am used to booking travel for myself independently and then discovered Matt. I recommended Matt to a friend, who he took care of. He managed to get my friend additional baggage allowance at no extra cost much to my surprise. Following that, I used Matt personally for flights. Matt went above and beyond. Supporting with applying for visas, additional baggage allowance, travel to the airport. I am surprised he didn’t help me pack. Matt offers a great service and I cannot imagine booking another flight without checking in with Matt first. Matt sorted out my wife and son to go to Thailand from Birmingham different return dates & I went back to him a few times to change dates etc. Patient and excellent. The price incuded fast track at Birmingham at security at the airport which was an unexpected Brucey bonus.
