Having been fortunate to be a student of Lisa for a number of years I can highly recommend her. The physical and psychological benefits I found from Lisa practice has become part of my everyday day life. I had an immediate connection with Lisa and what she brings and gives on the mat. Harmony, balance, awareness, mind body soul vitality, are just a few descriptive words that express my gratitude for what Lisa has given me through her yoga practice, yoga therapy, yoga nidra and a gorgeous yoga retreat. Lisa really is a treasure.

In the chaos of the day-to-day, Thinking Feeling Moving is a gateway for you to be truly present in the moment. What I admire about Lisa is her authenticity, depth of knowledge and true expertise (achievable only through deliberate practice and life experience). She dedicates herself to her practice and facilitates others in their quest for healing of the mind, body and expression of self. I've been fortunate enough to experience private yoga sessions (both in person, and virtually), in addition to her weekly Sunday Deep Rest Yoga Nidra. Each session has been powerful, effective and yet each their own unique experience. Lisa's character is one of honesty, she provides a safe space to express, share and discover.

Life gives a lot of unique gifts - one of them is to give birth. But in a long way to see your child first time, there are many emotional and physical trials. I am so happy that Lisa was nearby during this exciting period. My husband and I had various online yoga sessions and yoga Nidra with her during my pregnancy. It was peaceful hours with mindful practice, which Lisa ran for us according to all our requests and health details. I would highly recommend Lisa as a fabulous master who will always be on your side and give you the possibility to feel your soul and body in new aspects.

I highly recommend contacting Lisa for a bespoke yoga routine and practice. She is a fantastic listener and an intuitive therapist who seems in tune with what your body and mind needs. Lisa introduced me to yoga at a vulnerable time in my life. The morning and evening routines she designed helped me move forward and let go of my troubles. Plus, the added flexibility in my body felt great.

I met Lisa many years ago, whilst I was rehabilitating from knee surgery.
I had been searching for a yoga teacher in my local area and was drawn to her online advertisement as it resonated deeply.
I felt a connection from the first class and quickly became a regular attendee. Her authenticity, depth of knowledge and insight for what I needed, led me to a path of healing I’d not experienced before.
I also attended her Ayurvedic cooking workshops and a retreat, always feeling rested, rejuvenated and inspired to integrate any knowledge gained into my life.
Lisa taught me that I could help my body to assist itself in the healing process, through yoga and meditation. She listened without judgement and always offered continued encouragement and guidance to gently challenge myself when needed, or to accept where I was in the moment with grace.
Lisa’s exceptional knowledge, her compassion for all, as well as her intuitive gift for healing and empowering, has been transformational for me.
I am so grateful and can highly recommend her in all that she offers.

Lisa uses effective listening in conversations to capture key words spoken, offering a reflective mirror to help you to understand what you have said, thoughts you've shared and beliefs you have voiced. Lisa uses summaries that capture the essence of topics discussed and have you feel well listened to and cared about. Lisa uses gentle curiosity to better understand what it is you are hoping for within your life. Lisa helps you to see things from a new perspective using warmth and offering a safe space. After each conversation with Lisa, I walk away feeling positive because she has captured in our conversations key strengths that she has spotted and helped me reflect in a way that has me moving purposely towards a step I'm going to take in my life.

There is great comfort when you meet a yoga teacher/therapist who has a way of beautifully reading how best to help you, has a wisdom exceeding years and integrates yoga principles into practice with such care and empathy. I can't rate Lisa highly enough and am eternally grateful for her guidance over the past number of years. She has helped me to deepen my own yoga practice so much so, that I have now been inspired to begin yoga teacher training myself!

I joined a yoga nidra with Lisa McGarva at Thinking Feeling Moving and it had a huge impact on me. It's a guided experience and you need at least half an hour - before bed is perfect.
The best thing was stopping and checking in with myself, placing down my emotional bundle. I have not been still in a long time, and I became restless, but managed to sink back into it very easily. The yoga nidra cleared my mind, and allowed me to rest. I had an incredible sleep and carried that peace into my day.
You can participate in the Yoga Nidra for free and check out the other offerings online. If Sunday night is a bit late, they are all recorded.
