Ruthie is both an excellent PT and supportive buddy. Having listened to my goals, she immediately set out a plan and identified my weak spots. A month in now and although it has been a struggle, I can confidently say that I couldn’t be happier with my PT sessions. We have gone through a large variety of excersies and training routines, which has made me a lot more confident both in regards to coming to the gym outside of our sessions and in my overall
performance too. Ruthie’s careful attentiveness has helped a massive amount in helping getting the most out of my training, especially since I started out in completely bad form (using the wrong muscles/body areas for the wrong exercises).
Beyond this, Ruthie has been a great friend. Her bubbly personality has allowed me to become a lot more comfortable during our sessions. And the tremendous amounts of support and words of encouragement will definitely have you going back on your “I cant”s.

I had been considering having a few personal training sessions for a while due to having very limited knowledge on what to do in the gym to achieve my goals. I also felt anxious when going to the gym due to not being confident with any exercises I was doing. From the start Ruthie listened to exactly what I wanted to achieve and worked with me over my sessions each time building my confidence, knowledge and strength. She is very motivating, encouraging and enthusiastic and I looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed each session! I felt very relaxed and comfortable with Ruthie from the start, she has been very supportive and I am extremely pleased with the progress she helped me to achieve. I have been training with Ruthie since October and I can honestly say that she has turned my life around. I now very much enjoy going to the gym, I'm fair more confident and I have a much clearer view on life in general. You're not just getting someone to check you're adhering to what you need to be doing to lose weight. Your goals are taken into consideration both inside and outside of the gym. I would reccommend anyone to Ruthie because she is just a wonderful person to be around and it's been an honor to train with her these last 6 months. In addition, with the situation wit COVID - 19, Ruthie has been super accommodating and going out of her way for all of us, her clients. As someone that was once intimidated by just the thought of stepping into a gym, Ruthie has done an amazing job in such a short amount of time at helping me change my mentality. Thanks to her help and support I enjoy my workouts, feel like I'm making real positive changes in my life and have a greater understanding of the overall picture rather than short term gains.

I've been training with Ruthie (owner of the Fit Edition) for 4 months now and have seen INCREDIBLE changes and improvement. I had not trained for almost 4 years after being in & out of gym without ever proper training.
Apart from the physical changes, I've seen (lost weight + gained muscles in upper body), I feel super confident walking in the gym now, knowing that I can perform most exercises comfortably without either looking like a fool or hurting myself.
Ruthie identified my weak spots in the first 2 sessions (muscular and training form wise) and made sure that each session since has been to improve on them. Needless to say, every week we've been able to smash my PB on different exercises.
If anyone still has any doubts, catch me smiling at 6 am at the gym because that's how much I enjoy training with Ruthie!

I've been dedicated to my training for the past 6-7 or so years in through sports and various other forms, tried a little of everything and would say i've learned a fair bit about fitness in that time. I also managed to burn myself out and struggle to balance what i actually wanted to achieve with the results i was getting, and knew i needed a better approach to my fitness routine. I had pushed myself to do too much and instead of processing to any particular goal, i found myself stagnating and losing enjoyment out of the whole process.
I took a bit of a leap of faith and decided to work with Ruthie about 7 months ago, and its the best decision i've made since committing to training full time. She has changed my whole perspective on exercise, my nutrition, my routines and my overall lifestyle. Every aspect of what i do has been tweaked and developed to put me in the best position possible to achieve my goals, and looking back i can categorically say i'm probably in the best shape i've ever been in. Ruthie's knowledge, attention to detail, organisation, motivation and hard work have pushed me further than i ever imagined i could go, and even now i'm excited to see what further progress i can achieve. Ruthie has found exactly what works for me and brought the fun back into my training and always challenges me to improve myself further.
I've done as much if not more to improve myself the past 7 months as i have on my own in the entire time before working with Ruthie, and i know i have even greater potential to push beyond in the future. I've gained a coach, trainer and a great friend in the process, and i cant understate the positive effect she has had on my lifestyle, training, mental attitude and self belief, I couldn't recommend her enough!

When I started with Ruthie I had no idea what I was doing. I’d been going to the gym since I was 17 and had no idea why I wasn’t seeing results, I was dieting and going to the gym most days. I doubted my abilities and body. I was so far off what I wanted physically and mentally and I didn’t know what to do. I developed confidence issues about my body and I constantly doubted myself, I always thought I was second best. This was not helpful as I am an actor working full time in shows and needing to use my body more and more. My head was in a complete mess about it all.I decided I needed to make a change!
I met Ruthie and we immediately clicked, she had this incredible understanding about how the body and muscles worked. We talked it through and by the end of the discussion all she needed to say was “trust me”. Since that day I have not looked back. I have (in 3 months) gained more muscle than ever before in my life. I weighed about 85kg, now I was 95kg, but the crazy thing is, I’ve lost body fat, the weight increase is muscle! This is due to, not only, a personalised workout schedule but also a rigorous diet plan that while effective also allows me to surprisingly eat more food and lose weight!
Not only is has Ruthie changed the way I look at fitness and diet but she is also a friend. I friend I put my trust in and I do not regret that choice; and neither will you.

Today I realised I have had 8 different personal trainers in the last four years!! And Ruthie is by far the best coach/ mentor/ PT I have ever had!! She has taught me so much about training and has shown me how to get the best results for my goals. I have learnt how to walk on my feet and not my toes, which I didnt even realise I was doing. Which shows she has picked up things which none of my PT's before hand have... She is incredibly switched on and I always enjoy my sessions, plus she has created a very detailed and personalised food plan (Because she is a qualified nutritionist- woop woop) along with a training plan. So zero reasons for excuses and guaranteed results if you listen and are consistent (especially as the training portal she has through her website is such a clever way to track your weekly progress). As I said before she is by far the best PT I have ever had and I am so grateful the universe has brought us together. THANK YOU!!!!

A really fun and result giving personal training experience! I’ve never had a personal trainer before and this opportunity has really grown my confidence around the gym, I’ve used different new areas around the gym and learned how to use things like weights properly. I really recommend this personal trainer for whatever stage you are at, weather your goal is a general weight loss or muscle building.
