Great experience of an ADHD assessment which brought together lots of details in a way that finally made more sense from Dr Bernard Horsford. Really convenient to have assessment online. Results detailed and helpful. I came here after a recommendation from a friend who also had good experience for her child. The website is a bit old and clunky but definitely worth persisting and booking appointment.

Excellent customer services. I received my Dyslexia assessment pack and a follow up call with few minutes of completing the online contact form. I strongly recommend Dr Bernard Horsford. For years CAMHS and Childrens Services tortured us until this doctor came into the picture. Within 10 days since his engagement, he made sense of the totally messed up and confused findings of too many professionals, who just couldn't see the bigger picture. I found the dyslexia assessment process was excellent, Dr Horsford was on time and took time to put me at ease to that I could perform at my best during the assessment. He was very patient and provided a very helpful explanation of the results and the assessment process. I found that the preparatory assessment which took place a few days before the main dyslexia diagnostic assessment was an excellent idea. I was pleased that the cost of the two hour preparatory assessment is included in the assessment fee which was reasonable.

The dyslexia testing process if very extensive and included a wide range of test so that individuals who have dyslexia are effectively identified. The dyslexia reports that were prepared were comprehensive they were better than some of the cheaper reports that I had come across as a special educational needs specialist. The reports were delivered on time and Dr Bernard Horsford's interpersonal skills were an asset when dealing with clients with complex needs. I am pleased that the report resulted in me being able to gain the additional support in education for my child who has autism, dyslexia and ADHD. Dr Horsford was a pleasure to have around to my home. The assessment was intense however Dr Horsford delivered professionally and put me at ease the whole time. I was told throughout my life I was not dyslexic but with this thorough assessment it confirmed my dyslexia. I can say that the autism assessment that I received consisted of several tests, there were tests of intelligence, to determine whether I have high functioning autism and the level of support that I needed. There was also a detailed interview with my mother, which lasted for about two hours. Dr Horsford then sent special autismquestionnaires to people that knew me well. They also looked at my school records. In addition to this I was asked to complete the Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System 3 and my parents also completed it. I completed some additional autism questionnaires, the CAARS. I there was a two-hour interview with the Psychologist, Dr Bernard Horsford using the DSM-5 I was then observed using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule. I booked an urgent assessment report; the fees are higher than the standard rate. The report provided all the necessary detail that I and other people supporting me needed. I would recommend Advanced Assessments, if you need a comprehensive autism assessment. It might be possible to get an autism assessment more cheaply or on the NHS, however, I needed by report urgently and wanted a high-quality report.

I needed an expert witness medical-legal report produced quickly and so there was room for mistakes. I needed to find an expert psychologist who could meet very challenging deadlines and produce a report that would stand up in court. Searching online took up a great deal of my time and it is difficult to make an informed decision by just searching from all the psychologist listed on Google and Bing. I found Dr Bernard Horsford to be an experienced and very hard-working expert who was able to work with my demanding clients and short deadlines. If you are need an independent assessment your case, then I would recommend Dr Bernard Horsford.
