Paul was amazing. I am so unbelievably grateful for the work he's done with me. I've gone through a lot of therapists and I have a hard time trusting them (or their opinions). I am not an easy client to have, but Paul is a model of intelligence, kindness, understanding, and patience. He was an integral part of getting me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. He is very good at identifying what's at the root of issues and he knows how to guide you without beating you over the head. He is also very professional. I, truly, cannot recommend him enough. I can't speak for the other therapists, but KlearMinds seems to put thought and care into matching their clients with the right therapist. When I initially called, I don't remember who I talked to but she was a very kind woman who basically gave me a free therapy session, spending almost an hour on the phone with me, before matching me with the best therapist I've ever had. And honestly I almost rejected him and asked for another because he was a man and I don't usually trust men... thank God I trusted their recommendation and didn't do that!! I highly recommend their services!

I am a male finance professional in my early 30's and I have been a patient of Maggie. My background is that I originally came to see Maggie when I was in a relationship for 4 years and had reached a stage where I was unhappy but didn't know if it was the relationship or a personal struggle. I am the youngest of 4 children and my parents separated when I was 17 years old, breaking up the home environment and resulting in me having depression. Added to this, at the age of 28 I moved to London and now aged 32 I have moved to the US. Maggie's approach to helping me was excellent. Maggie is very caring and relatable but also not afraid to tell you some "home truths". I valued this immensely as I needed that honesty to be able to see the real story of what I was going through. In our sessions, Maggie first asked me to work through a family chart, mapping out my relationship with my parents and siblings. Though this was difficult, it outlined the blue print for my emotions and allowed me to distinguish between my child's brain and my adult brain. This allowed me to use rational thoughts to assess how I was actually feeling and understand what were my emotional triggers. We worked together on this over a number of months and during that period Maggie provided an excellent tool for coping which consisted of writing down each and every worrying thought I had and making a list which we then committed to working through in each and every session. This sounds simple but was an amazing relief as I knew I could park it for now but more importantly, I knew it would be addressed with a professional who would have an unbiased view on the issue. If you are someone, specifically a male, who is unsure whether this is the right approach for you, then please be comforted by the fact that I too had those thoughts. There is a stigma around going to therapy/counselling but if you value your happiness and want to work on living a clearer life, then please reach out to Maggie. She has been a constant for me in a turbulent time and I admire the work she does and the attitude she has on life.

Over the course of several months, she helped me break down what I was struggling with and helped me through alternative ways of thinking.
