I attended the two day webinar kindly provided for free to help teachers and all school staff help their students develop resiliency.
The course was extremely useful in that it was waffle-free and instead focused on strategies we can actually use in the classroom and throughout the school. Both tutors were excellent in answering questions from participants and offering solutions. I'm really happy to see such an organisation working to raise awareness of emotional needs in schools. Definitely recommended. Well done guys and thanks

One of the best trainings I’ve attended (virtually!). These guys really know their stuff and manage to convey the content in a really interesting and accessible way. The resilience strategies were grounded in a strong evidence base, as well as, being practical and achievable. I will certainly recommend the RISE training to colleagues.

I attended the two day webinar on building up a child's resiliency. Basically we need to build up a child's resiliency so they can develop appropriate responses to challenges, differences or adversity. There are 7 c's of resiliency Competence, Contribution, Confidence, Connectedness, Character, Coping, Control + enjoyment. The more children have of these 7 c's, the better they can face challenges. Lee and Richard skilfully took us through each one, giving examples and practical suggestions. In the handouts, each C is explained and suggested strategies and activities given. Definitely recommend to all schools or anyone working with young people. Thank you both, you have widened our perspective and given us a great starting point for returning to school.
